I just drew this little guy for this manga I'm making. He's supposed to be a dog demon.I named him Kazu and yes, he's blue, I wanted to be creative! lol Comments or insults would be accepted. Maybe anyone would like to help me think of what powers he could posses? Because I'm still brainstorming on him a bit.

I'm not gonna vote now, because i can't see anything. You should scan it or take another picture at it. That one is to dark, you can't apreciate the drawing at all.

Sorry for not getting a better picture. My scanner is broken. And from what you can see, my camera isn't functioning very properly. lol Thank you for the compliments. I'll try to get a better picture up soon so you can truly see it. ^_^

To my view of the picture It really is nice, it sort of cute to me. I bet the scanned copy or better version of the photo will look better, hope you can post the better copy of the fox demon son :3

Well, I still can't get the scanner to work, but I took some extra pictures with my camera. It was really hard to get one that wasn't kinda fuzzy, but atleast you can see him a bit better.

Well, that's a lot better. I'm gonna start with the critics. I think the clothing resembles to much of Naruto. If it was a fanart, it wouldn't be a problem, but since is a character for a manga you're making, you should try to find it a more unique style.

Now, i like your choice un colors, despite being a little too cold, it is quite consistent. Did you use markers or crayons?

I use special crayons ^_^ . But how does the clothing resemble the Naruto style? That's ninja. I was trying to pull of " a modern, but different type of world" kind of look on him.

The character looks to similar from something out of Naruto. c.c It's not a bad picture, but you may want to re-think the design.

Hmm... Maybe I should change the pants, and maybe make the collar of the overshirt different?

I had to actually go look at naruto pictures to see the resemblance, but it was there. You're manga styled proportions are fair! I know it's a character sketch, but watch out for the frontal view that is kinda... well... boring-that's nothing against you, simply a statement. Even when you're designing the way a character looks you want to show how they would stand, it tells you what they are like and does affect the overal look of the character.
As for colors- it's true you want to avoid the entire one color multi shades for a character design, but your's didn't bother me. I've got a few characters that would only be represented by colors very close together.

ok..It's quite dark..:shock: but, I think the art is nice,..;)

From what I can see I think he's cute. When you draw anime (it looks like it's an anime-style drawing), blue hair is not so original as you might think it is. ^^'
You definitely need to scan him and touch him up in an imaging program.

I think he's cute, but, like others have said,
he does look similar to a character in Naruto.
