Woo! I got offered a job. Just part time but it's a job! Dont know when I start yet.

In these times, part time is probably the best most companies can or will offer, but definitely is better than nothing.

Yeah, it's just part time to start with, but I'll take it. I was starting to get pretty bored at home. Too much free time. That and bills need paid, cats need food, and fabric because sewing.

One of those fabrics is no longer going to be bandannas; it's gonna be a shirt instead. I'm pretty sure I have barely enough to get a long-sleeved tunic out of it, though with the seam allowances there's going to be zero wiggle room.

I should try to make more masks eventually. For Derpy and me. There aren't too many with a small enough print for his though.

One of the fabric stores I buy a lot of my fabric from had a big sale a few days ago, took the opportunity to get several quilting rulers/templates I've been wanting, along with a bit of some cute Christmas fabric. just got an email yesterday that it had shipped yesterday and it arrived today already. Normally it takes a week to get here sometimes.


I love Christmas fabric. All the fabric company's come up with such cute and pretty lines of fabric every year it's so hard to pick which fabrics to get. I want all the fabrics XD

That reminds me...I should try to find some fabric to go with the snowflake cutout fabric I bought last year. I was gonna do a skirt, but idk if I just want to use a normal lining fabric or some other cotton for it. (Because the under material would show through the snowflake cutouts.)

I do love seasonal fabrics, it's fun to see what we get in at Joann and I'm excited for the winter/Christmas fabrics to come in! We got some last month, but (hopefully) will get more over the next couple months. Though with covid slowing down or halting our ability to get some items in, it's hard to say for sure...

Maybe you could find like a blue wintery kind of patterned batik fabric to use.

I did see there's a couple of snowflake/winter themed lines of batik fabric just out recently.

I don't know that blue will work too well with it tbh. XD
It was a less-conventional Christmas color: black with a sort of metallic silver shimmer. If we still have some in stock from last year, I'll try to find it online by searching with the item number when I'm off work (because my phone doesn't have good internet right now for uploading pics) I mean, it might be okay with blue, but I'd almost rather use something less traditional anyway. If it hadn't sold out we had a black fabric with large rainbow snowflakes that I wanted to use last wonter with it.

I really need to get my sewing machine set up soon. I finally found myself a table to use for a sewing table. I've been itching to get some sewing done. Got a tshirt quilt for a cousin I need to finish and a quilt thats going to be a Christmas present that I need to get started on.

I likes me some Halloween fabric...I've found some pretty dang nice ones, if I do say so myself.

Though it was more than a little tempting to get a yard of this Star Wars Christmas fabric that's on clearance pffft.

I should find some Halloween fabric some time. About the only holiday related fabric I get is Christmas fabric but a Halloween quilt would be cute.

Yeah....so I may have bought 3 yards of that fabric the day after it came in at the JoAnn I work at... >.>
Idk what I'm gonna make with it yet (original plan was maybe a dress, but idk if the print is too big for that), but I needed it.

I've had that happen. I've got a bunch of black/dark blue vinyl lying around that I had no idea wtf I was gonna do with for a while, but hey; black fake leather yo.
