Jessamin sighed then said "Fine, I'll figure it out." With that she walked out of the lab.

You see Joseph looking out the Observation deck. Obviously, he had not noticed you. "All these ships......and they are under my command.....can I really do this?....I don't know. Sister, I wish you were here, you could always talk me into doing Suicide Missions, without a doubt in my mind. "He said, sitting down in the chair, staring at the stars.

Jessamin saw him but didn't quiet hear what he was saying. When she got close enough she said "The stars are amazing aren't they? Just thinking about all the possibilities out there." staring out at them.

"With every star, there are hundreds of possible species, and lives. When I a kid, I stared up at the sky, wondering when I would travel it." He said

Jessamin paused then said "Wait, you didn't know when you were going to travel?" she looked at the stares then said "Everyone on my planet travels at least once before their 5."

"Heh, I grew up on my species homeworld, earth. I avoided a petty life of crime, along with my sister, and we joined the alliance together"he said. " I applied for officers training, and got my first ship at 20" he said

Jessamin looked at him then said "Wow you guys wait so long to travel."

"We wait until your ready. In our culture, Irving a child a space-ship, is like giving him a loaded gun" she said

Jessamin paused "Your culture is very different from our then."

"We are a short lived species, and our history is riddled with war" he said.

Jessamin nodded then said "we have had war to, but we do live longer."

"I wonder sometimes if I should put down my ins, and retire to a nice and quiet colony world, but truthfully, I couldn't stand it. I love space. Me and my sister used to travel it daily" he said

Jessamin smiled a little and said "Besides we need you right now, you cant retire" hearing the comment about his sister she asked "Where is your sister?"

Joseph was quiet, he then spoke." She....killed herself on Torfan." He said.

Jessamin was quiet then said "I'm sorry"

"It's alright. It was a long time ago." He said, then looked at her." As beautiful as the stars are, I found a much better sight on ground anyway." He said, a smile on his face.

Jessamin paused then said "There are better sights on the ground? That is hard to believe. But I have never been to Earth."

"You've never been to- come with me." He said, taking her hand, and walking towards the docking bay.

Jessamin looked at him and was shocked when he grabbed her hand. When she realized where they were going she said "I can't leave the ship I'm on a mission and I have to keep it. A race is depending on it."

"Trust my squad, they will get the mission do e." he said, stopping in front of her cabin." Pack a weeks worth of cloths and essentials, and meet me in docking bay D17"he said.

Jessamin looked at him and said "I trust you squad will get it done... its just that my ambassador sent me to over see it. If I leave I abandon that mission."

Joseph held a data pad, and typed in somethig. He then put it away." There. I wrote In that I requested your help on an assignment that was based on my homeworld." He said." You should have no trouble leaving away from this." He said." Meet you at the docking bay."he said, walking off.

jessamine watched him walk off then said "I could have done that too..." she walked into her cabin grabbed jer bag and walked to the docking bay.

Joseph was waiting, wearing a jean jacket, a grey shirt, and a pair of blue jeans." Ready for some shore leave, jessamin?"he asked.
