I have received a very generalised message that was angry about me being insensitive in that short writing I sent you. Not actually sure what I did wrong though so I'm asking around. I would like to be respectful of their faith even if I don't follow it specifically (i'm a theosophist) and am asking for help to work out where I have misrepresented them and been offensive or if I actually have been and it's not just some random person sending me hate for no reason (I have had that a lot in the past).

Okay, I read it with my analytical reading thing -I have two ways of reading. One's reading for the feel of things, the other's knit picky. Comes from being official class essay editor in high school - Yes, so I read it again and found nothing insensitive

I actually like that you used a bit of it. You don't get that a lot in literature . I think it's because there's a lot Islamic stereotypes.

I like to be inclusive because honestly it's more fun that way and I find all these cultures and religiouns so interesting, even if I don't agree with some points of them (hello Catholicism).

Ah! Theosophy is basically the belief in all gods and beliefs. The power of imagination in the divine, ect ect It's the nearest term I've found to my belief.

I'm pretty apathetic about religion, myself. We exist, and I'm none too picky about how it happened. xD

Oh I don't care how it happened either, besides who's to say how it actually happened. Humanity only knows what happens now, the past is guess-work and stories.
I simply choose to believe that every god, myth, or hero that humankind had ever invented does in fact exist, even if it's only within the minds and hearts of those who believe. Belief has power, as does disbelief.

Editing was such fun, but could be a pain sometimes. I used to edit the rough drafts with a red pen and so many essays would just bleed. Red everywhere! And sometimes, the things people would write, it was so hard not to giggle

Interesting concept, theosophy. I like to know about all religions so that I'm not ignorant in conversations and for the sake of learning new things. Going through Judaism at the moment
