About the school:

Silver Crest Academy was created so that Angels, Demons, Vampires, and Werewolves could learn to co-exist with each other as well as for them to get an education. So the wars that raged for years between them could be a little problem for the students attending.

Campus:

As you step onto campus, you are instantly shielded from the outside world. The very first thing you will see is the academy. (Shown above) Like any other school, it has all the essentials and more; basketball courts, volleyball courts, tennis courts, track and field, football field, soccer field, a work out gym, gymnastics, dance and ballet studio, swimming and diving arena, sparing arena, and a training dome all located behind the school. As for classes, there are several language classes, english, math, history, economics, speech, science, art, computer classes, theater, government, cooking, music/choir, power lessons, biomedical research, archery, physics, chemistry, tutoring, and just about any other class you can think of.

There are five dorm buildings; one for angels, one for demons, one for vampires, and one for werewolves. For obvious reasons, this is the only part of the school that has the species seperated. They are co-ed, only two people per dorm. All dorms look the same, except for color variations. They all are full furnished, and grocery delivery will be once a week.

Teachers have their own seperate housing on the opposite side of campus from the student dorms.

Rules:

1: Be at least semi-literate. No one-liners, no text talk. Be discripted, use " " for speaking. No **'s for actions, actually type out what your character is doing. EX: She walked down the hall to see her friends. "Hey guys!" she said excitedly.
2: Follow TOS Rules.
3: Romance is allowed, no cybering! Keep it PG-13 or take it to the PM's.
4: No God-moding. I am god in here, not you. If I catch you, you will be blacklisted and taken out of the roleplay.
5: Fighting is also allowed, but you will be caught by a teacher and taken to detention. =)
6: If you are going to be gone for a while, please let us know. It's not fun if you have to wait around for one person to post.
7: Cursing is allowed, keep it at a minimum. Don't do it every other word.
8: You can have up to two characters, no more than that.
9: Use spell-check!!! :angry:
10: I will allow hybrids, but don't make your story all tragic and sappy. I don't want everyone to be a hybrid, be original!

Vane walked around the whole school checking out where her classes would be and the cafeteria and enjoyed looking at the area around her like the pictures on the wall, she even found her dorm which she enjoyed until she found out who her roommate was then she left after picking out her bed and setting her things down. She took her labtop in a sling bag as her cat "Kitten come on" had followed her which was an all black cat with bright blue eyes which looked amazing. She sat at a table after going in the cafeteria and taking a look around it. She took out her HP labtop from her bag that she got on sale 3 months ago on black friday which she only had to pay about 200-300 dollars worth.

((OOC: Okay, we'll just start with everyone getting to the school and orientation is that morning. There you will get your schedules [that you have already made in your profiles] and your dorm number [dorms are posted].))

Auria Rose stared out the window of her car as she neared the academy. She sighed and looked up at her driver. "We're nearly there Miss Rose." he said, seeing her expression. She nodded then continued to stare out the window, watching the school become more and more visable through the trees. Her heart ached as they pulled into the drive area for the school. Biting her lip gently, Auria waited as the driver opened the door for her. She stepped out and looked around. "Same old, same old." she said, looking up at the building. She thanked her driver and took her bags in her hand., "I'll get them, thank you. See you next year." she said with a smile. He nodded, "See you at graduation Miss Rose." he replied, getting back in the black cadillac. Auria nodded her good bye and began walking up to the school.
Auria walked inside the school and placed her bags in the waiting area for them to be taken up to her assigned dorm. She then made her way towards the auditorium for orientation. For her first day, she was wearing a flowing white skirt that came just past her knees. She was also wearing a light pink halter-top with a big enough opening in the back so that her wings could stay out and stretch. Her silver hair was down in curls cascading down to the small of her back. She finally made it to the auditorium. From the outside, there was only a hum of sound comming from inside. But once you opened the doors, the auditorium was bursting with the sounds of excited chattering of students and friends. Auria quickly found her friends and sat down with them to get caught up before orientation started.

Vane heard a little noise and forgot about the opening Ceremony. She quickly packed her labtop into her bag letting her cat 'kitten' jump in her arms as she raced down the hallway and to the opening Ceremony. She snuck through the doors wearing her usual blue jeans flowy skirt with an under layer just in case the wind blew too hard certain days. white and light green sneakers that matched her white blouse with a green sweater. Her brown hair was done in pigtails as her light brown eyes scanned for a place to sit. She sat next to a girl who looked elegant yet bored and talking to her friends. (thats you) She then spotted the teachers and those who stood with them with different titles. One of the teachers looked cute 'he's cute' she thought. The teacher she saw had short, dark hair that covered his eyes only a small bit. She couldn't see his eyes but she wish she could see them. She noticed he wore black jeans with nice black shoes that could have been tennis shoes not work shoes, and a black top with a white tie to match.

Jaclyn had already thrown her bags on the bed in her dorm room and explored the campus. It was as high class as she had expected it to be, but at least it had a fully equipped gym. She wasn’t going to get rusty just because she was going to some Academy. Pulling out her itouch she quickly flipped through the selections and landed on ‘please please please’ by headautomantica. Turning up the volume the song blasted through the speakers of her Skull Candy head phone. Making her way to the Opening ceremony she briefly wondered is her outfit saw a little to revealing for this place but she brushed the thought aside. ‘Let em’ think what they want.’ Looking around at the crowded building she caught site of a group of angles and rolled her neon pink eyes. ‘Great winged good dowers, oh boy.’ She took her seat scanning the teacher. She really just wanted to go change then hit the gym.

Auria felt movement beside her and she turned around to see a young girl with her hair in pigtails. "Hello, I'm Auria Rose." she said, her wings ruffling a little bit as she turned towards the girl. "What your name?" she asked, holding out her hand as a greeting. Her friends all smiled at the girl and went back to their discussion about the new male teacher. She shifted her skirt slightly so that she could face the girl. "What year are you?" she then asked. "I'm a senior." she told her. Her light ocean blue eyes glittered softly with excitement, she always enjoyed meeting new people. Out of the corner of her eye she saw a demon, with neon pink eyes, roll her eyes towards Auria's group of angels. She frowned then turned back to the girl in the green outfit.

Vane turned towards the girl and also smiled "I'm Vane, nice to meet you" Vane shook Auria's hand and then added "I'm a senior as well. But which is the new teacher? I just transferred here and got my paper work in." Vane noticed the wings and new she was an angel, Vane kept her wings hidden until the full moon came that is. The full moon was the only thing she couldn't hide her wings from. She was just hoping this time she wouldn't hurt or scare anyone like the last time she was at the other school and had to move otherwise it would have been awkward.

Auria grinned and rolled her eyes playfully at her friends behind her. She then turned and pointed towards the stage. "He's the one with the dark hair over his eyes. He is pretty cute I must say." she said, giggling softly. "I'm not really sure if he's new or not." she then said thoughtfully. She turned back to Vane. "Where did you transfer from? If you don't mind my asking, what species are you?" she then added a little shyly. Her wings ruffled a little bit as her friend's wing brushed against hers. Auria studied her new friend with interest.

Vane looked to Auria and said "Lucida's Elite School for girls is where I transferred from and I'm well a hybrid is all" Vane noticed how white Auria's wings were and how big this room that they were in. She could hear all the chatting but it was kind of annoying with the excitement and everything which was opposite from her last school. Her last school had to be elegant and only wear girl's clothes, dresses or skirts or anything but pants or shorts. They didn't even have gym at her old school.

Sitting close enough to eavesdrop on the angel’s conversation Jaclyn leaned back in her seat. “Wow way to invade some ones bubble.” she mumbled hearing the angel ask the girl what she was. The song playing from her headphones to had change to System of Down’s Chop Suey and she couldn’t fight back the irony of the song. The pink haired demon didn’t hate angels because they were angels; she hated them because all the ones she had ever met looked at the world through rose tinted glasses. It was that naïve outlook that pissed her off. Like this Auria chick just randomly talking to the first unknown person to sit next to her. This whole opening ceremony thing had better start soon or she was going to sneak out and go find something much more fun to do.

Auria smiled at Vane. "Well I hope you like it here." she told Vane. "This school is a lot more laid back than most. "I'm surprised that they haven't enforced uniforms here." she said with distain for the idea. "If you'd like, I can give you a tour." she said happily. "So are you a vampire hybrid?" she asked, mainly guessing because Vane came up to her with no problem, very unlike a demon. "You're face is also saying.... angel?" she said with surprise. Auria had a small gift for reading people. "Sorry, I'm just curious." she said, realising she was talking alot. Auria ignored what the demon sitting close to them had said. 'I'm just trying to get to know her and make her feel welcome thank you.' she told her with her mind.

Vane smiled "I hope I do like it here as well, I hope we don't have to waer uniforms. my old school was so uptight that I love this school. My last schoolwas an Elite school so high standards that you'd think you would just die from being or trying to be perfect all the time" Vane spoke and then took a breath "Yea I am, I'm only half angel though. And its okay if you want to ask questions I don't mind people asking questions." Vane added looking to the girl behind her and hearing her music and nodded once to the type chosen which was a good type to her, at least but not her favorite that is.

Auria blushed gently then smiled. "I don't think I would want to go to a school that uptight." she said with a laugh. "I've been going here since I was a freshman." she said. She then looked up at the stage as the orientation began. The principal began his usual welcoming speech then the schedules were handed out. Auria then invited Vane to go to lunch with her so she could show her around the school and help her find her classes.

((OOC: So far it looks like Vane, Auria, and Jaclyn will be in cooking together. That should be fun. =) ))

Vane agreed knowing where the rooms were but thought having a friend would be nice. Even though Vane was a vampire she was also seen as an angel with a friendly spirit or at least the spirit she had. Vane was glad to have cooking but eating something might be a big difference since she was seen as angel to her peers. (sorry bedtime for me. i will reply in morning.7:30-9:05am) Vane waited until the Ceremony was over so they could leave.

Auria smiles at Vane as they leave the ceremony. "Oh, I'm in dorm 2 on the second floor of the angel dorms." she told her with a smile. "What would you like to eat?" she asked after they had ventured around the school to find their classes. Auria pulled her wings in and hid them from view so people wouldn't look at her weird wherever they went.

Vane looked to Auria and spoke "I don't...I'm not exactly hungry right now. I um don't get hungry very much" Vane looked to others who looked at them and glared at unwanting eyes who looked away. "So I don't know how great of a cook I am" (sorry couldn't resist)

Jaclyn was incredibly thankful that it was over. Now she planned on changing into her work out cloths and having a round on the balance beam. It was currently what she was having the most trouble with. Walking past the two girl she had sat near during the ceremony she gave very sarcastic filled bow. She couldn’t resist teasing the little angels.Making her way up to her room she discarded her itouch and started digging through one of the many bags that held her cloths. Finally finding her blue cheerleading short and a black workout tank top she changed out of her jeans and black shirt. Pulling her pink hair into a high messy bun she picked up her itouch and headed back out.
Making it to the gym Jaclyn sighed in relief that no one was there. It had always unnerved her to practice in front of people. Changing to song to Toy Box’s song Superstar she began stretching.

Auria glared then smirked and curtsied back. "Nice to know that your kind actually respects your superiors." she said to the demon that bowed to her. She then walked off with Vane. "That's okay I'm sure we'll learn everything in cooking class, I was just wondering. I think I'm going to head up to my dorm and unpack. Classes start tomorrow." she told her, glaring at her friends for looking at Vane so rudely. "If you ever need anything, feel free to come find me." she told Vane happily.

Having arrived early Eva's room was already unpacked. She really was wondering who her room mate would be the other haf of the room was still vacant. Turning off her custom built computer she ventures out to the hall. The hall was silent like death. Where were all the students the orientation was over so it should have been busy with the chatter of people getting ready for the new school year. From down the hall she heard a faint voice someone was coming down the hall. Eva stood in her doorway wondering where this unfamiliar face was going....

Auria waved good-bye to Vane and went to her dorm to unpack. She sang softly to herself as she walked. Think of me from the movie The Phantom of the Opera. "Think of me... Think of me fondly.." she sang softly as she walked up to her dorm. She stopped as soon as she saw someone standing in the hallway. She then squinted to see who it was. "Eva!" she squealed running towards her friend. "How are you? How was your summer?" she asked, releasing her. She glanced out the window to their left and saw an angel flying around the school.
