Not really. Sometimes I draw for fun, but before today, I hadn't done it in a long while. I haven't had the time to spend on recreation lately, heh. I do love arts and crafts, even though I'm not really experienced with my hands. :D

Nope, not complicated at all, since the main focus is what's going on. I mean, these books are for kids, they might get distracted if there's to much going on. Simple is better :XD

Ah, ok. I didn't know whether you were going for something like Mick Inkpen's stories, or for something like The Octonauts' style with all the little things to look at. :)

Mick Inkpen... Octo... o.o I think that maybe I should do more research? But, really the style is up to the illustrator. I mean, if you want super detailed and extremely time consuming and that's jut your thing, then by all means ^^ But if you want cute and simple then that's awesome too :D

I only know random children's books because of my niece, hehe.


Mick Inkpen does the Kippur books... I'm sure he does others too, but I only know him for Kippur..

Oh yeah... kipper and calliu does something similar to that. Where the background just kind of fades out. OMG... the octonauts style is so cute. Kinda reminds me of uh... that think paper... stuff. I can't think of the names really >.> Gosh.. brain fart.

The "Paperchase" company is the closest thing I can think of that's similar to "think paper..." But they don't remind me of each other, so that's probably not it, hehe.

I meant some construction paper XD It just reminds me of construction paper. Really really cute though :O That's not the style I'm using on my own, definitely something more like kipper or calliu... XD
