Any last words?: I don't know if this counts as hand made or store bought...I made the corset entirely from scratch (real boning and everything!), I made the choker, and I hand dyed those pants and added the copper embellishments on the pockets, but I bought the rest. I lean towards hand made, but I'll let you decide. As for the concept, I've concluded that I'm a mechanic at heart, but was asked to take on the role of captain because of my flying skills. But I just couldn't give up my tools (I use the wrench to beat anyone who tries to start stuff with us =^_~=).

Any last words?: This is my second edition of an ongoing costume project of mine. I did my own hair and makeup. My glasses are in fact part of the character design and were actually bought with my costume in mind, and yes, they really are my real glasses (and they weren't cheap). Since Monster Meko is my alter-ego, she dresses much as I do and is a hardcore Lordi fan.

I'm supposed to have black horns (store-bought red "devil horns,' modified), but one of my horns disappeared right before I did my makeup. I blame the cats. (I bought a new set, but didn't have time to mod them.) Also, it might be hard to see, but my wallet chain is made up of bones. My axe is a $1 Walmart special that's been modded with real leather grip and binding, and nicely bloodied up with both paint and several kinds of stage blood.

And a fun fact about my sign? It was done with hospital-grade synthetic blood, about the closest you can get to the real thing (without the ick factor, plus it holds its color better when dry).

Like I said, it's a continuing project; I add and make new stuff each time around. Watch for me next year when I'll have colored contacts (red) and, hopefully, custom fangs. ;)

It's Manic Panic's Tiger Lily. It's even a bit faded in the photo! I like the color so much that for the very first time I'm considering bleaching and dying all my hair with it instead of just the front. :D

And thank you very much! I liked how my makeup came out so much that I didn't want to wash it off! But I also wanted to sleep in my bed, so... XD
