alli shrugged and nodded. "okay then, if you say so. but realy lena...no training? i dont think thats a good idea, espesially for you." she smiled weakly at her and added, "you dont have to be good at it, okay? im just saying i can teach you enough to at least know how to protect yourself. you dont have to be a mass murderer or anything like that."

Leone couldn't tell if the lady by the doorway was the woman that Ankoku loved but that really didn't matter.
Leone stood silently for a moment. "What your doing is a good thing," he said ",but if you manage to defeat the council, the vampire citizens will revolt against you, as you are public enemy number one. What would you do? Besides, the people have fed on humans with no restraints for a long time, it would be hard to curve and limit them. Unless, you have planned another way to feed them without humans?" More rebels came in and Leone couldn't tell if they were human or not due to the fact that his nose was dulled by alcohal. "Gathering information from market places aren't exactly conveniant as some of your news can be false rumors as well." He admired and pitied the rebel cause. They were strong but he knew that the vampire military was larger and more organized. In order to win they had to take down the head rather than hack at the body. The whole thing was exciting him, though he appeared calm and motionless. The anarchy that the council ran was rather cruel as well. If anyone took a look at the uncensored documents of history, they could see that humans have made amazing discoveries and contributions to the world. However, they could be violent and brutish sometimes. Leone believed that vampires should control humans only to stop them from waging silly wars with one another. His last sentence was somewhat of a step for him to introduce his plan. "My father has been ill lately, he is not what he used to be. Ten thousand years is a bit much and hunting down your camps and raids have taken a toll on him. I am supposed to be his replacement even though I'm not good for the spot." The government was like a monarchy, with all the high offices and titles passed down through family. Leone smiled and added sincerely ",I want to side with your cause and give you help." He could become the head of the ministry of defense but the job came with a ton of work as well. However, it was inevitable that this whole system would one day fall and Leone wanted to be there the help guide the new system into place. The idea that humans and vampires could live together in peace was a crazy vision and would probably take a while to achieve even if this side wins. This could be worked out and thought over in his studies later. There were always possibilities.

Realizing the people listening in on the conversation and that everyone here was suspicious and weary of him; Leone pointed towards the opening of what appeared to be a hallway. "Would you like to continue the conversation in private?"

ankoku nodded and walked to the hallway. "i know my information might be faulty every now and then. i know that i most likely will end up being hated by the citizens. to change them is to defy impossible odds." he grew silent for a moment and said "im going to hit the reset button. get lena and a few other humans, send them somewhere where they'll be safe. i'll summon the god of deathe and with the combination of his power over death and my powers of making endings, ill restart the world."

“Whoa. WHOA.” Leone lost his calm appearance now. “What are you talking about!” A huge part of him had doubted of the existence of a reset button (which sounded just too convenient and unscientific) but after stepping over the bodies of all the dead soldiers, he was now a believer. “There is absolutely NO reason to destroy everyone,” he pleaded “, I mean; you’re a vampire as well! Don’t you think the others should have a say on whether or not they live?” He winced at his words. This described the situations that the humans were in. Ok, now he saw the real point of the rebellion. “We can make everyone change. That’s a guarantee,” Leone improvised, although he was half lying. They could do it, but it will be difficult and there’s bound to be rebels like this group who will oppose them. “We just have to make them see what you, no we, see. Ok? The other vampires aren’t just idiots; they can probably realize that this whole thing is inhumane.” Ack. Another ironic choice of words. “All that needs to be done is to remove the council members from their power and then we can just ban the whole blood harvest.” Of course, there were still needs of propaganda to convince the vampire citizens that humans were equal but that could wait. “I really want to help you guys, but just killing everyone and having this small group of people repopulate the world is ludicrous. Be reasonable and take another look at your plan.” Ankoku sounded sane but his words were crazy.

Lena thought about Alli's words as she saw the two boys leave. Her eyes fell down to the sleeping child. Was he really safe to keep here? Now that the military knew the base was here. This would not be the first wave... She turned to Alli after a second. "I used to take gymnastics as a child. Think that could help?" Lena asked her. True Lena was not strong, but she could possible be fast.

alli watched the two vampires leave and breathed out a breath she didnt know she held in. she looked at lena and grinned. "so you think your still flexible? that will help a lot, meaning i could teach you a bit more." she glanced at the little boy and frowned. he looked so helpless, and no way in living hell was she going to let him stay here. she wouldnt say anything yet, but she didnt trust the new vampire that had come along, even if he did save the boy.

Lena watched Alli, seeing her reaction to the boy. It could only mean one thing, she wanted to take him. "Where would you take him?" She asked Alli. The woods were no place for a toddler... then again, this world was no place for a toddler. Still, even with surrounded by vampires, this base was probably more safe than out in the world. Lena still could not understand why the human rebels just could not stay here. It would keep them safe. Especially since they had already gotten captured. It was no place for Lena to say though.

alli was caught by surprise. "how did you-?" she shook her head. "the forest. with slayers he will be as safe as if he was here. he could grow up learning how to protect himself." she smiled weakly up at lena. "my offer for you to join us remains if you ever want to take it."

She nodded looking away. "I know it does." Lena felt she could not be pulled away. And not for the difference the opinions she and Alli had. Honestly, Lena had grown a small crush for Ankoku. Something she did not want to mention to Alli for she would have been called crazy, or something worse. She looked back to the boy. "Maybe he wont need to learn to fight. Hopefully this will all be over as quickly as it all came..."

alli nodded, but greatly doubted it. "hopefully. yes." she stood up from the bed and turned to see the door where the vampires were talking. "you trust ankoku, right? even after seeing his vampyric state?" she ignored it, already knowing the answer and asked another, "what of the new vampire? you said you have known him before?" she crossed her arms uncomforatably and looked at her.

ankoku sighed and looked at the dead bodies. "alright, we'll do that. reset button is last resort." he looked around the opening the base was in and said "first things first we need to do something about the fact that the other four members of the council are gonna keep sending soilders here to deystroy us. we have at least 12 hours before they'll start to get suspicious. after that anouther hour before they'll send another wave of soilders."

Lena looked away from Alli. Keeping her eyes away and towards the ground. "His father is the reason I am scarred on my body." It was true. Out of all the counsel members, Leone's father used to abuse her the most. Abuse being taken likely to half of the stuff she was force to endure. "He was also at a few of the meeting. Supposed to follow in his footsteps I guess. From what I can tell, Leone is opposed to most of the violence, though he has his father's logic."

alli nodded silently in understandment. "okay, im sorry if you didnt want to talk about that." she shifted in her place slightly uncomforatable now and returned her gaze to the sleeping toddler on the bed. she glanced ever so often at the door to make sure she knew first if they would ever be coming back in. she wasnt threatened around them, just cautious. very cautious.

ankoku walked back into the base and said to alli. "you should leave. we have approximitly 13 hours before another wave of soilders comes to this building. everyone else is getting there things packed. we're getting the hell out of here and finding another abandoned building to use for a base. unless you plan on coming with us or dying trying to kill an army on your own, get the hell outta here." he grabbed a bag and started packing it with cloths, potions and anything else in his room.

Walking over to a cracked window, which had several bullet holes in it, Leone pulled the curtain aside to stare out at the darkness that was the woods. "Where are you guys going to go? They'll be scouring the woods with a comb after they find out about this." He gave a small shudder as he took a look at the magnitude of dead soldiers. "What say we go straight to the city. My house?" Leone turned towards the others to see their reaction to his plan. His father was never around most of the time and the servants would either be asleep or have gone home. Who would ever check a his house? "It would be easier to win if we just strike the base of the system and entering the base is easier from the inside. Attacking it with something like this won't shake them that much."

ankoku froze in his tracks at the thought of going for a base on the inside. "thats genius. my plan was to go for the mountain in the forest and launch giant hunks of burning metal to start something but thats way better and cheaper." he stopped and thought "what are we gonna do about all the hover bikes? not to mention the fact that we've got at the very least 500 rebels in this place."

alli stared at them and shook her head. "my slayers will have to split up than. there are only about thirty of us." she looked at leon and looked at him tilting her head. "are fifteen slayers enough to stay there? i would be one of them. the others will know where to go. we have a mountain base far off in the forest. definitly not big enough for all of us."

ankoku stopped and said "hold up we can figure that out later. you go with him to his place. i'll keep 30 of the rebels to help me carry more stuff back. so that we'll leave no traces of us being here."
