Which is the best day of school for you? First day? Or last day? Why?

Most definitely last day. Especially this year, because I wasted this year, and the last day of school is me escaping all that shit.

Last day for me too. You get free food at lunch, you get to take out your phone and text all you want etc...<3

Weird. At my school the teachers just didn't care. I went to my classes to say goodbye to them and thank them for being good teachers then I just left. xD

First day, definitely.
It's a new beginning, a time to remake yourself.
That and the fact that in my school district, we take exams the last day of school. >.>

I like the first day, basically because it's a new beginning and I'm excited to see the people in my classes...then after that I'm just wishing for summer to start. The last day of school sucks because we got final exams on that day.

Ohhh, I was lucky enough to get really good teachers this year. I didn't dislike any of them. :D

Th last day is the best day of school because it's summer and you can hang out with your friends and travel places and not have to worry about homework of work.

I love the last day of school.

School, for me, is hell. It means constant anxiety attacks (at least one per day, two on gym days, three on test days, etc) and more depression from the amount of drama that is present at my school.
I've gone to different schools all my life. As in, one school for kindergarten, a different school for first grade, etc. The longest I ever stayed at a school was for three years and it was because I was in the Major Progress Program, which was basically a way for the kids who loved to learn to accomplish that. (I even had to take an IQ test in fourth grade just so I could be in it! I scored 164. I think the MPP class average was around 155.) Those two years in that program were the final years of any and all happiness that I have had up until today.
I've been in the same school that I am presently at for two years.. and I HATE it. I hate the people, I hate most if not all of the teachers (yes, I went and met my future teachers last year, meaning the ones that I had this year, and I did the same this year for next year) and oh, let me tell you, I am dreading next year. What makes it worse is my dad promised that we would be moving so I could get out of this hellhole. PROMISED. And just revoked it because he got a state job. Apparently money ranks higher than my happiness in this family. -_-

So yeah, being able to escape those worries for a few months excites me.

Usually, I'd say last day. I'm always looking forward to the end of school so I can relax over summer vacation. But, really....I think the first day of school is also really exciting. There's all sorts of new people to meet, new classes, new teachers and a new year to really get yourself going in the direction you want to go. In high school, I hated school so much. But I've spent the past two years in community college, and the first day I started college was so exciting. I was nervous, and I'm shy and wasn't sure who I'd meet. But it was extremely fun.

This year, I have such an excessively long summer vacation that I can't wait to start school again. I'm transferring down to Savannah for art school, so once again I get to meet new people and start all over. And, since nobody there will know me, I get to be whatever and really mess with people's minds >.>.... haha Really, though. It's exciting. I finally get to live somewhere else and do my own thing. ...and again. I've already been on Summer Vacation for a little over a month, and it feels like FOREVER. If I could get a job to keep myself busy, maybe things would be better. 'Cause all my friends are kinda ignoring me right now. T_T

Hmmm... this is kind of difficult, actually. I always loved the feeling of the first day back at school. But then again, the last day is... the last day. XD You've got a big, long holiday stretching out in front of you!

Hmmm... hmmm... hmmm...

I don't know, I'm a pretty productive person and I prefer having things to do than having a long stretch of time with nothing to do. So I'm going to have to go against the trend and say that the first day of school pwns.

Either that, or the last day of school before Christmas. I LOVE the Christmas break, and I love Christmas! XD

Last day because the feeling of relief shines through and at my school on the last day you just.... did nothing... absolutely nothing. And it was bliss.

I have to say last day, because my high school life was so hellish that I still get a giddy feeling at knowing I don't have to go back there, and it's been a year and a half. xD

If anything the first day was the start of 9 months of depression, suicide fantasies and enduring constant harassment by my peers and principal.

I like the first day of school because it keeps me occupied and and seeing my grades at the end of the year is rewarding. I'm such a nerd.
