In a world where all races live together it is a very messed up future and many things happen. A hit man is hired to take out a male and a succubus. They seemed to have done something to earn this, but what?
Diablo awoke crying again today, he was still hunted by his new parents death's, and he was a hit man for damn sake, how could he not save them!? They had taken him in....He stopped thinking about them so he could get his composure back. He got dressed and went to work in his car, though he was left with a big house with maids and cars, he helped the maids when he wasn't off killing his marks or gambling, he kept busy between running the buiness his new father gave him and being a hit man and working out and playing games he purposely kept busy all the time. After his long day at the buisness job he went to the casino to finish his mark. He came here often and no one suspected him of being a hitman though he did have a rep as someone you didn't mess with. He walked in and started to gamble playing blackjack.
Baby sighed as she walked around with her boyfriend watching him gamble away his money and also some of hers. She scowled at him as he got slightly waisted and kept playing until he had lost everything. "Come on Inferno we don't have anymore money can't we go home now?" she groaned as he was beaten once more in a game of poker and looked at her with a frown.
"One more game Baby please? I know I can win all of our money back plus some." Inferno said and Baby sighed but frowned even more. "And what do you intend on betting with?" she huffed darkly and he smiled patting her shoulder." don't worry about that Baby I got it covered and I won't loose I swear." Inferno said but his arrogance and over confidence worried Baby to no end. She watched helplessly as he went and spoke to the better for Russian rulet and watched as he placed a bet only to be shocked at what was put up there... her. "INFERNO! What if you loose?!" she exclaimed and he smiled reassuringly "don't worry I won't." he said softly before watching the ending of the current round.
Diablo seeing his mark go to the russian rulete and like some risk bet himslef in for the round his mark was in, this would count as him killing him and he'd get his money for it. He watched as the last round ended and he chuckled lightly, this game exilrated him and he'd never really gotten hit the four times he played it and he felt that he would win.
"Please Inferno don't do this." Baby begged but Inferno refused and went to where the next game was starting seeming very confident that he wouldn't die in this game so he wasn't worried about the girl he really didn't care for.
Being a hit man helped him pick up how his mark treated the succbus pleading with him. He stood in his spot next to Inferno ironically enough and held back his emotions putting on a poker face. It helped him to stay unreadable. He would have this game end this bastards life if he shot him himself or if he shot himself. Just then the game began with the game host handing the gun to the first person who started to look very nervous and wound up lucky this time. Then the next wasn't so. Round and round the circle and the demons who signed up had dropped like flies. It was just him Inferno and another that only lasted until he was handed the gun next. It was Diablo's turn and he smiled confidently. "So are you enjoying your night here?" he asked him casually as he got lucky.
"Heh are you kidding? I've lost every bet that I've put up tonight but I don't plan on loosing this one." Inferno said confidently taking his turn and getting lucky before handing the gun back to the male across from him. "What about yourself?" he smirked having a feeling that he would not loose... yet Baby had to look away not feeling so confident.
"I've been having a good night won quite a bit, actually bet that looking to double that, I heard you were betting something better than money, is that true?" he asked taking his turn and getting lucky again.
((lets drag this out for a couple turns each shall we?))
Inferno smirked as he took his turn getting lucky again. "Yeah... Baby, my girlfriend... but I don't plan on loosing and I'm pretty good at games like this." he smirked having handed off the pistol to Diablo wondering how long this game would go on.
He took his turn and got lucky. "She seems really nice, the most free succubus I've seen around, and better off too, most I;ve seen have bruises and I want to beat those who did it and take them in." he said handing the gun off. "What do you think about that?" he asked curiously.
"Huh I don't think anyone could hurt Baby if they even tried... and honestly anyone who ever hurts one of the girls here gets their heads blown off." Inferno informed the male as he took his turn then handed the gun back. "I hate people that hurt the girls here too but at least they aren't around long enough to do it again." he said softly and honestly... though in all honesty when Baby and him got drunk he did beat on her quite a bit... but neither of them ever brought it up after that... well she normally didn't remember like he did.
"Oh? sounds fair, nothing better than well deserved justice I say." he said and got lucky again he then handed off the gun feeling that this talk was over. "I've enjoyed this conversation my friend." he said having a feeling this would be his final turn.
"What you planning on bowing out?" Inferno smirked as he took the gun and had slightly noticed out of the corner of his eye that Baby had looked away and was talking to the bet keeper trying to get herself out of the bet. He then took the pistol and took his turn... though wasn't so lucky like before and soon fell over dead. Baby started to cry slightly as she heard the shot and knew without looking who had gotten it. She then spoke with the bet maker again and asked for a shoot off and was granted that since she wasn't a slave succubus so she got the chance to stay free.
Diablo smiled feeling lucky. "That's why my friend have a good eternal sleep." he whispered to inferno's corpse then stood to get his winnings. He noticed the bet maker talking to the succubus and knew something was going to change in the bet.
the better walked over to Diablo after talking to Baby and handing her a gun. "Baby wants a clean shoot off for her freedom, since she is not and has never been a slave that has been granted, if you don't want to then she walks free, will you accept?" the male asked Diablo plainly as Babyglanced over to the male with rather cold eyes.
Diablo saw the look in her eyes and recognized it. Though it was a challenge. "OKay I'll accept." he said not being one to back down from a challenge he'd land a non-fatal shot to her leg and leave once he made sure she was taken care of.
The better nodded and waved Baby over and she turned before slowly moving over to the two males not looking down... not wanting to see her dead boyfriend. "Okay you two, back to back, ten paces away from one another then on the count of three turn and shoot, not one second before." the better said sternly before watching Baby nod and turn away from the male.
"It doesn't change a thing... I don't believe you anyway." Baby said coldly before taking her ten paces when the better told them to start. She then heard him counting down and just waited for him to hit zero so she could turn and kill the man that ruined her life.
Baby gasped then growled when she felt the bullet going into her calf though got a shot off... unfortunately though it missed. The better soon came over and took the two guns before giving Diablo his winnings. Baby just sat there and started at her bleeding leg... she couldn't believe that she had lost... to a man! In such a way that she would have to become his slave... but a bet was a bet and she would willingly go with him and be his servant without complaint... well much complaint.
He walked over and knelt down beside her after getting his money winnings. "I only did that because you challenged me, lets get you fixed up, then if you really are against coming with me you don't have to." he said helping her up and bringing her to the doctor in the casino. "I promised myself that I was only doing that because I don't back down." he said after getting her in the care of the doctor. "See you later, if you decide you want to I'll be back tomarow." he said kindly then left the room. He went to his car and sat there deep in thought then started the car letting it purr for a bit like his cars did. He hadn't left yet there was something about her, she seemed familiar but how?
Baby huffed when she heard Diablo and looked away even as he left though before long got up on some crutches then went to talk to Elno, the bartender, owner, and very close friend. They spoke for awhile before Baby walked back to the back and curled up on Elno's bed in the back quickly falling asleep as she thought of what was to come the next day... she would fallow through with what she had been sworn into... she wouldn't back down even though she didn't really care for the male that she had been sworn to.
After Diablo got home he put his winnings away safely and went to bed, having eaten before he went to the casino. He would look through his old marks tomarrow before his cover-up work he had. He could swear that she was one of his old marks but didn't know why. Worst of all he thought that it might be possible that he might have feelings for her. He shook his head clear and slept peacefully, well as peacefully as someone who was having a nightmare about a psyhco killer mark that he couldn't kill for only the gods knew.
