Well we do get some of the storms from the states passing though,but they've usually dissipated some and are milder by the time they get here

I mean, the gulf of Mexico is a long way away from you! XD but I imagine storms farther up the coast can affect you.

Yep, its those coastal ones! Kind of like how snowstorms from here sometimes filter over the border. Weather ignores that kind of stuff,lol

The surprise is, we'll sit on our duffs and watch tv at a hotel for a week!! :D JK but sometimes our vacations feel like that.

So far I'm bored as hell and I've already done more writing work than I usually do in a week. We literally just sat st the resort and did our own things all day.

We walked 3 miles of nature trails today which was a nice change but very tiring. It does feel very strange not to go out to eat while on vaca though. It's quite the departure from our usual.

Oh it must have been beautiful this time of year! And not eating out really would make it odd..

I did get some good pictures. The trees are changing colors and such but for the second part of the hike, I was mostly looking at my feet so I didn't trip on a tree root! o.o

Not eating out also means no ordering dessert with every other meal and fancy cocktail drinks!

Those pesky roots! lol Still, it sounds like it was lots of fun.

Yeah but it's not the same especially when it comes to drinking. Ah well. I guess I'll have have to survive without a 6,000 calorie diet.
