There's a ton of different reasons. Being able to have the piss taken out of you is just one of them :lol:

It's nothing to do with activity, not in the way that you're thinking anyway. Someone could be super active, but completely unsuitable to be a mod, maybe because they're a total douchebag. Actually, usually for that reason :lol:

We've had people pitch fits in their own threads before because they didn't get picked to be a mod and they felt they "deserved" it more than the people who were asked, I mean, seriously...that's the kind of behaviour that makes someone suitable for staff, is it? :lol:

I think I can remember a few miffed users when it comes to new mod announcements.
Or just generally miffed users.
They are out there, but sometimes pretty easy to ignore behind the nice people.

I never got why people feel they're entitled to mod duty. I mean, if you were then you'd be picked without having to throw a fit or act like a mod when you're not. I'm meaning more so those people who do a bad job at "helping" users.

Im certainly seeing that, theres a lot of behind the scenes work that goes into all this that i wasnt aware of, and its pretty full on! Still, once im fluent in that, i think it shall become much easier to handle for all of us

They are expensive, as you will see... and they come from Australia, so shipping is kind of a bitch. But, they were a Christmas gift to myself, and I don't regret buying them at all. XP They make me SOOOOO HAPPY!
