I was watching the making of 300 and then started watching the movie again.
My best friend called me in the middle of it, though, and we were talking about video games for about and hour or so.
I figured I'd log back online.

because im only using this computer for today.

I decided to get this one last flake item, and I am off to bed, or else, I will be having never ending online time.

I mean...what kind of movie it is? scientific? romance?

It's a glorification of the story of King Leonidas and the 300 Spartans and various other Greeks who defended the pass of Thermopylae ["The Hot Gates"], so that the Persian Empire could not get through to conquer Greece.
The Persians eventually found an old goat path that leads to the back of the Spartans and killed them at a last stand.
The deaths of King Leonidas and the Spartans and Greeks who followed him led to Sparta taking up arms against the Persians with 10,000 Spartan soldiers leading 30,000 Greeks into battle.

One of the most important events in Greek history, for it helped preserve the democracy that Greece is today.

Alec, in the making of the movie extras, the directors and historians say that it was intended to be over-the-top.
I mean, the entire movie was a told to young Spartan soldiers to glorify Leonidas and the 300, saying that they faced numerous horrible odds, and still were defiant.

But the movie stunk. >>

I would much prefered Greek mythology than history...

persephone and Hades, Apollo and Artemis, Eros and PSyche, Athena, Hermes... :D

Fun Fact: When Leonidas's body was recovered after the battle, Xerxes ordered that the head be cut off and the body be crucified. :o

That....is not FUN. That is gross. lol. I don't get it why chopping head off and left the body to crucified? I wonder how crucified comes from anyway?

His head was then jabbed onto a spear, and Xerxes' men STILL feared him.
