Lol, er...around 180 I expect >< A moderate temperature? 350 or similar? Normal temp really.
I gave it about 10 minutes then checked because I had no idea how long it would take. I did spread the soft cheese right to the edge to protect the edges from burning and give it a few more minutes leeway. Things were fine at that point so it got at least 5 minutes longer, couldn't be more precise than that ><
Pistachio, if you can confidently cook a turkey, you're way ahead of me when it comes to cooking bravery!

I like flavour and spicy foods. He likes strong flavour and dislikes spicy food. I try to add enough, but then it's too spicy for him...I just can't reach a passable middle ground. I'll figure it out. //sigh

Yeah that would be 350. Seeing an oven in C would be so weird o.o
Pistachio, perhaps put the spices on after he dishes up.

@Jelly: I found a delicious recipe in a Food Network magazine three years ago! Let me find it and link it.
Good Eats Roast Turkey
It's delicious! I made it two years in a row. [Last year, someone else made a turkey, no need for two. This year, we had a death in the family recently, no Thanksgiving.]

At first it didn't connect in my brain that you were converting to fahrenheit for me, so I was staring at 350 thinking "wtf, that's fire!"

Haha, sorry xD It doesn't help that (as far as I know) the degrees symbol does not exist on a computer keyboard. : /

Since my stomach is threatening to digest itself and I have a whole pack of tortillas in the fridge I think I'm gonna throw what I can on it and cook me one o' them thar things right now!
edit: Ok, we have light coating of tomato sauce, fresh cheddar & parmesan cheeses, sliced mushroom, couple bits of broccoli, some sliced red onion, and some jalapeno because I like hot. Ground some pepper over the top of it and threw it in there. Now, to not get distracted and burn it.

Oops, forgot to come back and report my victory! Turned out nice, only took a few minutes. Nice quick alternative to pizza for the times I don't want a lot of bready stuff in me. :)

You should! Simple, clever ideas are really inspiring to me, since I tend to just make the same boring thing over and over again if left to my own devices. Girl kid actually came to investigate and wound up making her own. She's likely to take this and run with it, since she loves to cook.

I've been unsuccessful in finding the kind of pastry you've been using at the store. Is it phyllo dough? But anyway, I think I'll have to try this with tortillas in the mean time. Not tonight, though, as I had an egg baked in a tomato.

Cherry, it's just flaky pastry (as opposed to shortcrust). Nothing fancy/difficult like phyllo. Of course I have no idea of what is sold in US stores, or what it's called, neither of which help at all.
Poet needs to do some food shopping
Make a sweet version with Nutella and/or peanut butter, and a banana or an apple sliced on top. Sprinkle it with sliced almonds to make it pretty. Mini marshmallows too maybe.

You need to do some food shopping :P
Far more food can be bought for the same amount of money that you'd spend on a take out pizza, yes?

I couldn't find any puff pastry at the store, so I bought some pizza dough because it looked similar on the package. Cut up some tomato, asparagus, red bell pepper, zucchini, and yellow squash, and put that all on there along with some olive oil and seasonings. Then I prompted to burn the damn thing. But it was good! I've still got plenty of dough, so I'll try again, being more careful with the cooking times. Thanks for the idea!

You're very welcome! :D Pizza dough's something that's easy to make if you can motivate yourself to put the effort in. I made some using a Jamie Oliver recipe from his website. Though I didn't have olive oil or 00 flour or anything fancy. Just made it with bog standard flour and vegetable oil, good enough for me! You can make the dough, knead and prove it, then at this point split it into portions and wrap them in clingfilm, then chill or freeze until you want them. So not excessively time consuming either.
