Hello, Granny J and everyone else. Long time, no chat. Haven't been getting on the computer much lately, but am now. How is everyone?

I am doing alright.
I pretty much just got on today after a few days of celebrating the holidays and being sick.

How are you today?

Know how that is, I have caught the flu twice so far. Am only on because TerrenaAnimula finally reminded me to. XD I get caught up in everything else fairly easily.

I am doing fairly well. Been playing with me new stuffs and am contemplating taking some photographs.

Get anything truly excellent from the tree?

Dang, that couldn't of been any fun.
I've yet to get the flu. Just a lot of head colds and sinus infections.

Once things settle down I find myself on here, hard to stay on though.
Only been a member for a few weeks but I've barely been active, don't know what to do with myself half the time.

Awesome! I have yet to seriously enjoy the presents I got.
Aside from the usual clothes, I got a book, a few comics, gummy bears and a computer game I've been waiting form.
The Sims3 Seasons to be exact and I haven't gotten around to playing it yet.

I'm currently on a gifter's high. The gift I put together for my partner just arrived (only one day late, focal piece bought from overseas ten days before Christmas...not half bad considering the mail congestion!).

The way he reacted...I wish I had a camera.

And, I think I can enter it in the craft contest - even though the focal piece isn't my creation, the full assembly is!

As for what I got? A couple of games, a nice pair of earrings, some clothes, and some of the useful but WTF gag gifts I get every year. Kind of a tradition with most of my friends, we try to find the most practical but HILARIOUS gifts to send each other. This year it included a Snuggie and a pair of bunny slippers. Which are surprisingly warm and fuzzy and nice.

Yes, but cell phone cameras tend to not be very good. And they don't have as much room or battery life or the ability to focus or anything. And a lot of them it's hard to get the pictures from phone to computer without spending extra money. That's my experience, anyway.

Camera phones tend to be low quality and not the best in size. Like being able to make prints. XP

AlbaRosaria: Been looking for that good conversation, still feel like that awkward new kid.

I get them every christmas and luckily I didn't get a pound of them this year.
I'll definitely tell you, but seeing as it is the Sims I will probably love it.

GrannyJ: I needed a camera for my animation class.
Had to do a bunch of stop motion videos and the only way that would happen was via a camera.

There's a tedious but effective trick to get your photos from phone to computer if it doesn't plug in.

Send them in the form of MMS messages to your email.

But still, that doesn't do much for the quality...and if your plan charges you for texts and the like you're SOL. Much better to have an actual camera.

Once you jump in, that'll quickly vanish.

I don't get candy anymore. Sad face.
