I had to be at work for 9 this morning. I'm really not a morning person, so it's awful. I hardly got any sleep

Just a piece of a 5 pound cookie that a parent brought in for the teachers.

I didn't get any Valentine's chocolate, but I got Girl Scouts Thin Mints and chocolate from Christmas.

I think I'm gonna skip the half off chocolate this year. I usually go a little crazy, but I think I'll be a bit conservative this year. I have an anime con coming up, so I'd rather spend my money there. :D

The older folks tell me candy lasts longer if refrigerated. Mine isn't refrigerated, but it's in sealed packaging or bagged tightly and it's doing just fine.

Ugh. I HATE refrigerated chocolate. Ew. So gross!

How so? I just don't like cold chocolate. It makes it hard and unpleasant. Isn't half the point of chocolate the way it just melts in your mouth?

I'm the one who likes to eat a thing that the others don't like!

It's not like I don't eat chocolate, it's just so much less enjoyable when it's cold. Cold chocolate is sad chocolate with the exceptions of pudding, mousse, or ice cream.

I don't think you don't eat chocolate. It's that you guys are like, "Ew, refrigerator candy?"

Cold chocolate and melty chocolate are fine as long as they don't melt on my fingers.

Yeah, sticky chocolate fingers are very bad.

Chocolate pieces in ice cream are a dreaded enemy.

Well, I spit them all out and let them wallow in sad misery in the bottom of ice cream bowls.

I think I'd like chocolate bits in ice cream. I haven't had ice cream with bits before.

I like chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream....except for the chocolate chips in the ice cream. I'd be happy with just the cookie dough part, but noooo. I tend to avoid buying ice cream with chocolate bits in them. The only ice cream I had where the chocolate bits easily melted in my mouth was some Hood ice cream with chocolate coffee lighthouses that were pretty melty. But it still hasn't won me over to enjoying most chocolate bits in ice cream!
