For the Festival of Winter Nights event this year, we have something special planned!

First of all, let me announce the dates. The Festival of Winter Nights for the Winter of 2008 and 2009 will be held from December 22nd, 2008 - January 02, 2009. That's right! Twelve days of Christmas or whatever winter holiday you do or do not celebrate! Hopefully the long event will accommodate anyone's busy holiday schedule and you will not miss out on the fun!

But now for the meat of this Announcement - teamwork! I am organizing a grand event for the whole of Menewsha and thought it would be fun to have everyone join different teams to make it more interesting! I have entered Menewsha in an inter-island contest on who could build the biggest snowman and I'm sure we'll perform admirably.

Of course, you do not have to join any team at all to enjoy the event, if you do not wish to! But as you may be rewarded based on how well your team performs, I do highly suggest it!

I selected four team leaders and the following few posts will allow them the opportunity to convince you to join their team!

I guess I'll go first?

I'm in charge of the Winter Blue Team. Join us if you're a competitive player who's willing to work hard in order to crush the competition! Or because blue is your favorite color, I don't really care which.

If you want to visit the Winter Blue Team's Hangout Thread you're welcome to. But I'm not promising to always be there or anything. I'll show up when I have time.

Abel! *huffs* Don't you know it's only polite to let a lady go first? And don't ask 'What lady?'!

*tosses her hair* Forget the Winter Blue Team! With Mr. Grumpy leading it, it's not going to be as wonderful as joining the team that has love on its side! That's why you should join me on the Holly Red Team! We'll prove that love conquers all!

And it's the Festival of Winter Nights, so there will be stars in the pretty night sky and everyone on the Star Yellow Team gonna be a star!

Won't that be fun? Oh oh! And Grandpa will probably make cookies and hot coco for us!

If for whatever reason you would like to change teams, visit the teams page and click on a different team button and you will automatically be removed from your current team and placed on the new one if there is room.

Please keep in mind that to prevent any one team from being too large, you may be asked to try a different team. But that doesn't mean you can't try again later!
