For our first foray into the world of conventions, Menewsha will be going to Momocon 2009! The convention is held March 14-15 at the Georgia Tech Student Center in Atlanta, Georgia (USA). Best of all? The convention itself is free!

If you're able to make it down there, look for Menewsha in the Dealer's Hall (not the Artist's Alley) where you can chat with CK (that's me), the Event Coordinating Captain for Menewsha and Omi, our lovely artist-slave/manga-ka!

Hopefully we'll snag a few good new members while we're down there - so starting in March if you hear anyone say that they came here because of Momocon - give them a warm welcome. :)

We'll be holding a raffle for existing members to get their grubby paws on some rares (certainly at least several pairs of March Contribution Items) - and I'll barter with the other AAs for the right for something bigger to be raffled off if it looks like there will be a lot of people dropping by!

If you'll be there or think you might, tell us here so we'll know about how many existing members we might expect to see! If there are a good handful, maybe I can get us some extra goodies to give out. :)

We'll also be releasing a special limited item to be given to Momocon attendees. But don't worry if you can't come - I'll make sure those people who have no way of attending have a chance to win their own. (I'll tell you more about that in March.)

-confuzzled- No building for us. We're all closet monsters who stay at their respective homes.

Is there any hope for Otakon?

The next convention that is likely will be Dragon*Con (also in Atlanta)... >_>; But who knows - it's possible in the future we'll be able to go to other conventions. :) It depends on having staff who are able and willing to go and having the ability to get a table somewhere. XD; (I know I'll be dropping promotional things at Dragon*Con, anyway, if I can't book a table. May just write codes on the back of the promotional material to redeem for goodies. Just depends on what resources are available.)

Still don't quite get the Menewsha-with-its-own-building question either. XD;

Aww, I would totally come... but I live no where near there. x3 You guys should look into coming to A-kon sometime. : D Or even better, a convention in Oklahoma. xDD

I'd so love to go, but Georgia is a tad far away from Pennsylvania. >_<;

I know its late notice, but you should go to Tekkoshocon, but I say this because its my local convention. ^^;

I would go but I'm actually going to a con tomorrow and then one in June so there is no way I could go to that one too.
And it isn't horribly far from me, like a 5 hour drive.
