It was three days after Naruto was able to bring Sasuke back from making the mistake of going to Orochimaru to become stronger. The blonde Kyuubi container was laying in a hospital bed, though his injuries were pretty much gone. Those bright blue eyes of his glanced at the curtain that was splitting the room in half, knowing that on the other side, hopefully, Sasuke was sleeping. The male sat up, wincing a little, since his sides were still a little sore, but not too bad. He sighed softly as he just sat there, staring at the top of his bed. He remembered what had happened though, all too well.

----------Flashback----------

Naruto came at Sasuke from behind and was able to get a hold of him. "Sasuke, you are not going anywhere, even if I have to break all the bones in your body to just drag you back to Konoha," The blonde Kyuubi container threatened, his eyes a blood red instead of their normal blue. He had grabbed the dark-haired male's arms and put his foot on his back. "Let's see Tsunade fix your arms," He said, starting to pull them backwards. Though, after a bit of that, he stopped and grabbed some wires out of his bag and he was able to get Sasuke surrounded in them. "Now let's see you move." The blonde had then started to drag him back, unaware that Kakashi was already on his way there to try and stop them from fighting.

----------End Flashback----------

The blonde sighed once more and laid back in the bed, staring up at the ceiling. He looked at the window when he heard it open, a smile appearing on his face when he saw Jiraiya. "Ero-sennin!" The blonde exclaimed, sitting up quickly, causing himself to gasp slightly at the pain it caused. Then he was firmly laid back by Jiraiya, getting told not to move too much, or else his wounds wouldn't heal. However, it was a lie since the Kyuubi would be able to heal any injury that Naruto sustained during battle or any other event. "Ero-sennin, why is everyone assuming that I had to almost kill Sasuke before I brought him back?" The blonde asked, looking at the older man.

Jiraiya sighed. "I know that you had brought him back with the wires around him Naruto, but he was half-dead when you brought him back. Tsunade did everything in her power not to kill you at that point in time, since we need to keep Sasuke safe," The white-haired, perverted writer explained to his young student.

Naruto sighed and closed his eyes, starting to think if there were other ways that he could have brought the other back. Though, as he was thinking about it, for some reason, the thought of Sasuke naked came up in Naruto's mind. The blonde's eyes shot open and he shot up, breathing heavily. What the hell was that? He thought to himself, looking at the curtain. Sasuke...naked? Underneath me? He tilted his head to the side, but then shook it. No. That would never happen. I don't like guys and neither does Sasuke. He laid back down and closed his eyes.

{Man! Sorry that it's soooo long. I just needed to get a lot out^-^}

(meh)

Everything was foggy but something was making noise and it was annoying him. Sasuke just wanted to sleep but the sound just wouldn’t go away. Worst of all he couldn’t work out what it was. He was an excellent shinobi and so the fact that he couldn’t properly discern sounds was a worry; worrying enough to have him open his eyes. This proved to be a very bad idea. The Uchiha had only long enough to see the white ceiling and realise he was in the hospital before pain enveloped him.

A small gasp was all he allowed to pass his lips but he did grimace and clench his teeth together. Slowly little grasps of memory began to resurface and he swore under his breath. That idiot had managed to defeat him and bring him back. He hadn’t wanted to go back dammit! Here was holding him back and all he craved was power. If he had to sell his soul to obtain it then so be it.

Sasuke almost attempted to get up but at the last minute changed his plans to checking if everything still worked. He could still move all his extremities thankfully, even if they were weak and stiff. He could also still see, even if it was a little blurry still. The light was a little too bright despite the curtain sectioning him off from the rest of the room.

He could now work out just what had woken him. That idiot must have been sharing the room with him and he had a visitor. It sounded like an old guy, Sasuke couldn’t work out whom. He huffed at the disturbance and winced as breathing in too far sent a jolt of pain through his chest. Dammit! This was going to take forever to heal. He wondered how long he’d been out already. It couldn’t have been too long if he was still in this much pain.

Naruto glanced up from the bed when he heard some rustling from the other side of the curtain. Well, at least he was awake now...hopefully. It had been about three days since they got back to village, and Sasuke was out the entire time. A soft sigh escaped the blonde's lips as he continued to think about it. Though, the sound of Jiraiya's voice broke his thought.

"Well, I'm off Naruto. I've got more things to think about to teach you, so see ya," He said and then slipped out of the window. The older man then disappeared in a cloud.

The blonde shinobi removed the covers and he slowly got up, gasping a little at the pain that was still in his legs. He ignored it though as he walked over to the curtain, wondering if he really should go see if Sasuke was alright or now. After taking a deep breath, the blonde grabbed the edge of the curtain and moved it out of the way and looked at the other.

"Hello Sasuke," He said quietly, so that the nurse's couldn't hear, since they weren't exactly supposed to be out of their beds until Tsunade said that they could. "How're you feeling?" He walked a little closer, watching Sasuke carefully, just in case the darker haired shinobi attacked him.

He most certainly would have attacked Naruto the moment he came into view had he been capable of any sort of useful movement. As it was he couldn't even lift his arm an inch above the covers so there was little hope of doing anything other then set back his own recovery if he managed to get of the bed.

"Get away from me." Goddamn, his voice sounded terrible. He too had kept quite but through no choice on his part; his voice was barely sound and ripped through his throat like sandpaper. Coughing racked his body and this was what brought the nurse running. She gave Naruto a rude look before turning her attention fully on the Uchiha, getting him some water and helping him drink it and then checking his preliminary stats before going to inform the Hokage of their awakening as she'd been told to.

Sasuke scowled. He hated being so weak. If Naruto had just left well enough alone and not come after him he'd be half way to Sound by now. Orochimaru had promised him strength that he could not obtain here and his team mate had messed all that up. He wouldn't get another chance to leave the village for years. They would keep him under constant supervision now and it was all Naruto's fault.

(sorry I took so long, it was my birthday on the weekend)

The blonde's eyes narrowed a little bit at the sound of Sasuke's hoarse voice, and the fact that he told him to go away. He didn't move from his spot, not even when the nurse came in and glared at him for being up and about. That was most likely the reason that she had scowled at him. When the nurse had left, Naruto walked over and stood at the side of Sasuke's bed, his arms crossed over his chest like Kakashi would sometimes do when he was going to give the three of them a lecture.

The blonde took a deep breath and then looked down at the other. "First of all, you should be happy that you're here in Konoha instead of on your way to sound. Orochimaru, so I heard from Jiraiya, was going to use your body as a container for his soul, just so that he could get your eyes and defeat the Akatsuki," The Kyuubi container lectured to the darker haired ninja.

"Secondly, Tsunade Baa-chan was the one that sent all of us to go and retrieve you. Neji and Chouji are in critical condition thanks to you running off and trying to get stronger to beat your brother. Sasuke, your brother isn't going anywhere any time soon. Besides, it's much better if you train with Kakashi instead of Orochimaru, because Kakashi knows what you can and cannot do!" The blonde snapped at the other.

His hands had fallen to his sides and he had them balled up into fists. He was ready to punch the other, however he stopped when he heard the curtain get pulled away. The blonde looked at the floor when he saw Tsunade standing there.

"Naruto, get back into bed," The Hokage told him, giving him a stern look. Thankfully, he had followed her orders. Tsunade sighed and looked at Sasuke's chart, her eyes quickly jotting over it, making sure everything was in order. "Well, Sasuke, you will be able to leave the hospital in a week. However, you will not go anywhere near the gates to leave Konoha or anywhere near the section of town that your clan used to inhabit," She said and then walked over to Naruto's bed. Of course, he was allowed to leave earlier than Sasuke was. After she told Naruto that, she leaned down and whispered something to him.

Naruto nodded and then sighed, laying back on the bed, his hands behind his head. He watched as Tsunade left, not pulling the curtain closed between the two beds. A soft sigh escaped his lips as he stared up at the ceiling.

Sasuke let his head fall to the side and even that small amount of movement hurt like hell. What was worse the curtain had been left open, which meant there was nothing stopping that blond idiot from looking at him and talking to him. Thankfully he hadn't said anything just yet but the tension in the room was palpable. He wished he'd just stayed asleep until he was fully healed.

Sasuke began working on getting movement back into his limbs. They were stiff from three days of disuse and a savage beating beforehand so he started small, trying to move his fingers and finding two of them broken, one swollen to twice it's size. Once he'd returned mobility to his hands he moved up to his elbows, lifting his arms up from the a few inches at a time and slowly increasing the distance each time.

Right now he didn't care if Naruto was watching him; he needed to be able to move as soon as possible so he could get out of this cursed Hospital and back to training so he could get out of the stupid village, learn all he could from Orochimaru, kill him, then go off and finally defeat his brother.

Naruto didn't notice Sasuke was trying to move until he heard rustling coming from the other side of the room. The blonde shinobi sat up in his bed and watched the other for a moment. After that, he got up and walked over to him and stopped him from moving. "Idiot, stop trying to move. You're going to hurt yourself even more if you do," The blonde told him, giving him a serious look. As his sky blue eyes watched him, that thought of Sasuke underneath him came back into his mind and Naruto had to turn away as a blush appeared on his cheeks and he started to get a tad bit aroused.

The blonde moved back over to his bed after closing the curtain between the two beds. "If I hear you moving over there, Sasuke, then I'm gonna..." But he stopped as he gasped and held onto the bed. What was this feeling he got every time he talked to Sasuke. This was really confusing the blonde and he didn't like it. Sure, Naruto got confused all the time, but this was different. It was one of those times where he didn't really understand why or how he could be confused. He nibbled on his lower lip and stared at the top of the bed.

He hoped that Sasuke wouldn't ask what was wrong. There he was, standing at the end of his bed, grasping the bed post, with a slight bulge in his pajama pants. Of course, this was not going to look good to anyone who walked in, so the blonde slowly went and laid down in the bed, his back towards the door, just in case anyone came in. A soft sigh escaped his lips as he stared out the window, thinking about how to get rid of the bulge in his pants. Maybe he should do what he had seen in his thoughts? Sasuke underneath him...Hm. The blonde shook his head. Absolutely not! The blonde screamed in his head.

Damn! Why did that blond idiot have to be so annoyingly caring? Sasuke knew what his body could handle and everything that wasn't allowed to bend had been put into a cast. Evidently Naruto had broken one of Sasuke's legs and an arm half way between the wrist and elbow, not hampering either. The leg would be a problem however and he would have to try to remember any healing jutsu he'd ever been taught to speed up it's recovery.

He continued with what he'd been doing earlier, only this time he was careful not to make a sound. He was a ninja after all and had been trained since he could remember in that sort of thing. He was thankful that the curtain had been closed and so his actions couldn't been seen or heard.

He continued on until his arms and leg were at least partially movable before stopping. His whole body felt sore now, more then it had before. Obviously the pain meds were wearing off and needed to be re-administrated. Just as he'd thought this a nurse came in with a change of IV drip (a glance up told him his own was empty). Before he'd seen that Naruto hadn't even been on a heart monitor. At least there was only one annoying beeping noise in the room.

He wondered vaguely how Naruto had healed so fast. Sasuke had beaten him up just as much as he'd taken but he was already up and about. The medication running into his veins was addling his thoughts and he gave up on that particular stream in favor of letting sleep overcome him. Hopefully, if he was lucky, he'd sleep or at least another day.

A yawn escaped the blonde's mouth as he sat up and stretched, though he kind of relaxed a little when the nurse came to his side and checked his vitals. Those blue eyes of his looked out the window, watching the birds as they flew around in the sky freely, without a worry in the world. Naruto glanced at the nurse when he didn't feel her touch, not have noticed that she had finished and was already on her way out. The blonde blinked and then put his arm down. He glanced at the curtain, sighing.

This was getting boring, just sitting in the hospital bed, doing nothing but wanting to be back outside, training with Jiraiya. "Man," The blue-eyed male huffed and laid back on the bed, hands behind his head, and stared up at the ceiling. Of course, the ceiling wasn't nearly as interesting as he knew the male on the other side of the curtain was. Maybe he should go bug him some more. No...Sasuke would probably try to kill him, even though he couldn't really move right now. So he just laid there, wondering what he should do.

{Sorry that it's short. Brain fart^-^}

Sasuke woke up some time late the next night with a sharp yell. His body had wanted to sit up but hadn't responded properly sending the Uchiha into a coughing fit as his chest protested. His breath came out in sharp gasps that wouldn't let up. Most people's nightmares slip away before the details could be remembered and all was left was the feeling they had induced. Not Sasuke's; he had lived his nightmares. This was but one reason he disliked having someone in the same room as him as he slept. It was alright when he was exhausted from a day doing a mission but like right now all he'd been doing the day before was rest.

He worked hard to regulate his breathing and finally succeeded, trying to relax back into his bedding.

(thats alright...damn, mines even shorter.)

Naruto hadn't left the hospital and he was awake, fiddling with a letter that had come to him. However, he jumped when he heard Sasuke yell and glanced at the curtain separating the two of them. The blonde got up after a bit and he went to the curtain and pulled it open slightly, looking at the Uchiha boy. "S--Sasuke, are you alright?" He asked, looking really worried. The only time he'd had heard Sasuke yell like that was when they were being attacked by Haku and surrounded by those mirrors of ice.

The blonde walked over to the other and stood at the foot of the bed, putting his hands on the bed. He kept his eyes on Sasuke, wanting to make sure he was alright. Of course, he probably looked stupid standing there and watching Sasuke. Those blue eyes of his traveled over Sasuke's body, but he got that strange feeling in the pit of his stomach again, trying to ignore it.
