Abel grunted as his friend got him in a headlock. "Lay off!" He said in a strained voice. Once the elf had let him go he huffed and straightened out his school uniform. "No they aren't pets you twit." He said and glared at his friends. ""And we wont treat them as such." Looking at the two he sighed. Suddenly his friend was advancing on the girl, holding her by her shirt with fire in her hands. That was no way to treat a woman, human or not. "ALCHIOR!" He screamed and grabbed the elves wrist hard, causeing it to release as he caught the girl with his other arm. "Leave them." He said sternly, glaring into the others eyes. He knew ifanything happened, his friend would see a sever punishment from the headmaster. "Consequences friend." Abel said before releasing the wrist and gently putting the girl down. "Go, seek a teacher to show you around. Please excuse him." His statements were blunt, to the point. Basically telling them to move while he tried to calm his friend down.

Miu let out a frightened squeak when she was grabbed and her eyes widened, whimpering when the flames erupted around the elf's hand.

Yuuta's gaze was absolutely murderous now and he dropped his bags onto the ground. Raising his hands slightly he clenched them before delving into his mind for his center of focus. That took only a second before he found it and dived into the reserves of energy and released it through his mind, letting the feeling of something leaving him wash over his entire frame. He blinked once before opening his arms to catch his sister, who had been wrenched from the elf's hands through some invisible force.

Then, Yuuta narrowed his eyes at the elf. He could get away with treating Yuuta like dirt, trash, but there was no way in hell Yuuta was going to let him get away with threatening his innocent baby sister like that. Yuuta grit his teeth and the energy pouring out of him was almost visible in waves of an iridescent color. They all rushed at the elf, catching him in a tentacle-esque manner and squeezed tightly, keeping the elf's arms in an unbreakable grip and lifting him off the ground. Yuuta's eyes had gone from their dark red to a milky color now, but the message in them was clear 'give me one reason and I'll gladly toss you across the entire yard'.

From her place In Yuuta's embrace, Miu could see her brother's complexion paling. And she could also feel the slight trembling beginning in the arms around her. She frowned in worry. Then shot an apologetic glance to Abel. It was a short one as she was soon back to worrying about her brother.

((for future reference, i won't make my posts like this one. it was post for a post after all. Also for future reference, next time anybody feels like trying to grab Miu with the intent to harm or threaten, please keep the post with a "possibility of failure" option, keep in mind Miu is clairvoyant and she has a pretty good grasp on her powers so she can sense these things. You guys render her powers useless when you say you grab her and threaten her, giving me no leeway to say that she got away. (No offense to Graxdon-san, you were the first one to do any such action so i used you as an example. I apologize for that.)))

(no need to apologize, probly shouldn't of done that, sry. also, i thought her clairvoyancy was more far future as opposed to immediate future)

Alchior was about to snap back at Abel, but was cut off as he was grabbed by Yuuta's psychic grip. He tried to struggle, unable to create any runes from his position, and just scoffed, looking at Yuuta, and the expression on his face before smiling, and saying, "Go on human, do it, retaliate and show how wrong they were for letting your kind in! You'll get kicked out, probably with the other round ears, which means that I win anyway."

((it depends on how much energy she expends on it. On a turn by turn basis, the immediate future stuff is only for anything related to her getting harmed/threatened, like a security system. otherwise, she'd have to concentrate on what she wants to see.))

Miu had had enough, she could see the strain on Yuuta's body beginning to show and turned her own gaze the the elf caught in Yuuta's mental grip.

"You know...you don't have to be such a jerk." She started out softly, her voice slowly gaining power. "We've never done anything to you to be treated like dirt. I don't know anything about you, and you don't know anything about us. You have no right to judge us just because you can't stop being a biased twit." Miu frowned. "And no, I'm not trying to sound like a self-righteous individual, I honestly believe that you need to learn to give others a chance." As quick as her tirade had started, it had ended. Miu blinked and her face coloured instantly. She picked up her stuff, it had fallen when the elf had grabbed her, then turned to her brother and tugged on his sleeve. "Yuuta...Yuuta let's go..."

At her voice, Yuuta's concentration snapped and he let the elf fall. Without another second to waste he'd gathered his things and snatched his sister's hand, taking off in a random direction in a brisk walk.

Miu shot a look over her shoulder at the two elves. "I'm sorry for all the trouble Abel..." she whispered, not really certain on whether or not she wanted the elf to hear her.

((I'm sorry boo, I didn't mean to make my posts sound like they completely ignored yours >.>))

Alchior watched them walk away for a few seconds before spitting on the ground where they had stood and turned to Abel, saying in a disbelieving tone, "Can you believe those things, Belmont? Seriously, if they're going to let those things walk around, they should be leashed at least! Jeez louise, and the mouth on that human, telling me off! ...Right man? Hey, thinking back... why'd you try and stop me?"

Elrond heard the squabbling outside. This was the consequence of bringing in humans. They just don't mix with elves. He probably should go out to remedy the situation, but he was tired and had to report to the theatre. He'd just have to address the issue in class.

When he finally arrived at the theatre, a number of teachers were already in attendance. He searched for a friendly face, but grew tired and sat down. This year, nearly all of the teachers were young. Or young when compared to him anyway. He missed the good old days where teachers were wise elders and all was right in the world. Now he could just sit and wait for some coworker to come up to him because the felt sorry for him sitting all alone. He wished they would actually come to appreciate him and the wisdom he had to offer instead of treating him like an outdated old man.

Dalrek saw Mr. Cunamo, one of the most respected teachers of the academy, slowly walk in and take a seat. He was older than most of the staff, second only to the High Chancellor, who founded the school. Dalrek had only conversed with him once, and could swear that this conversation had enlightened him in ways more than one. However, he knew that Mr. Cunamo was a proud man, who did not care for pity others gave him for his old age. He dismissed Mr. Cunamo's presence and continued reading his volume.

Elrond grew more tired of waiting with every passing moment. When was something going to happen? He wasn't getting any younger. That much was for sure. With great effort, Elrond lifted himself up and out of his chair. He cracked his back and slowly started walking towards the nearest teacher. A young man who called himself Shelley. When he reached the man who was reading he spoke in a firm and gravelly voice, "You. Dalrek, Shelley, or whatever your name is. Do you have any idea when they will actually do something with us instead of wasting our valuable time?"

Inafay came up behind Abel and Alchior as she had watched what had been going on with them and the human students who were now walking away, she narrowed her reddish-gold eyes at them as she came up behind them, looking very menacing with her dark skin and white hair braided down her back. "What have we been up too?" she asked them in a tone that said she had witnessed the whole thing that had been going on, she had to look down at them considering she is six feet and nine inches tall, made her feel bad when she is taller then the guy she was going out on a date with. "Are you going to continue to treat humans in such a way when we have graciously opened our doors to them?" she said in a strict tone, letting them know that she wasn't playing around, she just hoped the humans would stop so that she could escort them to the auditorium so that they wouldn't have to put up with such things from more elves that were like Alchior, well in his frame of mind in thinking. She didn't like the idea as much as the students did but she was going to do her best to treat them like she would anyone else.

Dalrek put down his volume once he heard himself getting addressed. He looked up to find Mr. Cunamo standing in front of him. "It's Cheldn, sir," he said, clearing his throat, "and I'm afraid I'm as uninformed about this delay in procession as you are." He glanced around again, but there still weren't many people in the theater, student and staff alike. "But we are a bit early," he offered as a reason, gesturing at the brass and leather watch strapped on his left wrist, "The opening ceremony isn't going to start for another ten minutes. And you know how the principal likes waiting for students to fill the seats before starting."

"Sorry Cheldn. And thanks for the information." Elrond grumbled some more as he wobbled back to his seat. He muttered under his breath, "This is why our school year goes to waste these days. Nobody's making a valuable use of their time." He wished time would move faster so that he could just go to bed. He knew the day was far from over, but it was his own sort of wishful thinking. The more he thought about it, the more he wanted to nap, so, since he figured the meeting would start late, he fell asleep.

Dalrek watched as the elder sulked away. He shrugged. He was not bothered too much about the lateness. He finished reading the last panel of his magazine, and put it away nonchalantly into his suit coat. He saw a few students gingerly making their way through the aisles, but even then there were not nearly enough in attendance to be considered a majority. He sighed, rather glum about having nothing to occupy himself with anymore.

Abel sighed at glared over at his friend as the humans walked away. The elf didnt realize that if he treated the humans in sch way if would end very badly. "You know the headmaster would have your head if you did anything." He said and glanced up to see Inafay. "Miss Kanath" He said bowing lightly. "No, I was telling Alchior that since they are guests here we should not treat them that way." The elf glared at his friend in a "now look what you've gone and done" kind of way. Al was one of his best friends, but sometimes his temper got them both in trouble.

Alchior waved his hand at Abel's comment, saying, "Don't worry about it my friend, with my parents royal positions, I may as well be untouchable." At Inafay's words, Alchior shrugged, saying, "I'm sorry ma'am, was there something wrong with the way that I treated them, because I found it quite fitting?" He looked to Abel, slightly confused and hoping for some kind of reassurance from his friend.

"I know you do not agree with the school taking in the humans as many elves are not happy about it but you have to make the best of your situation. Oh and Alchior, yes there was something wrong with how you treated them. After all they are guest and if you were a guest you wouldn't wanted to be treated like that no matter what status your parents are. I will be talking with the Principal about this." Inafay said to them as she narrowed her eyes, petting her bow as she thought about everything for a few minutes before she looked towards the auditory, still looking very menacing as she looked down at the students once more, okay so she may have been happy about how it turned out but she still had to do her job about it all, which was the only part that sucked in her mind. "Get to the Auditorium now....this will be handled at a later date." she said to them before she turnned and started to make her way towards the auditorium once more.

Elrond stirred from his slumber as the din of the chitter of students slowly grew to a roar. He checked the time. 20 whole minutes since he had talked to Dalrek. 10 minutes late. He hated lateness. Despite his back hurting more than usual after sleeping in the uncomfortable chair, he stood up. He was going to go in search of the headmaster, whom he used to have a great deal of respect for to encourage the elf to get a move on with the proceedings. Elrond didn't care whether or not all of the students were here, he just wanted the event to get started already. He grumbled as he searched the room. When he finally laid eyes on the headmaster, his back gave out, he let out a yelp, and tumbled to the ground. Maybe this would get that late old elf's attention.

(CLEAR! *chest paddles go zzzt!* LIVE DARN YOU!)

Alchior let out a huff, murmuring quietly to Abel, "If I were a guest, I'd be an elven guest, not a human so I fail to see how the two can be compared... So, what were you talking to those things about anyway? The humans, I mean. You almost looked chummy with them. Oh, I get it! You were going to pretend to be their friend so you could get them with a good prank later, right? Ha, classic Belmont, setting things up for later. I guess that's why you can always beat me in chess, right?" Alchior let out a laugh, waiting for Belmont to confirm what he had said.

[[Oh hey, this subscription surprised me. :o
There's not much for me to work with to make this live. :gonk:]]

Dalrek lazily drew characters in midair with his index finger, only to wave the text away before it activated anything. There were more students in the auditorium now, but again he acknowledged that it wasn't enough to get the show on the road.
