Dimitri looked over at the very second the young girl made her outburst. He noticed the shadows being bent around her. Dark Magic? No one ever used Dark magic. No one was ever born with it... It was shocking to say the least. He intended to stay away from her, at least until he saw her under control. The Demon Boy was on the floor, apparently the target of the girls outburst.

Serafina walked threw the group of students waiting to get tested and she tried looking around for the girl she was supposed to watch. This was really frustrating to her seeing as she couldn’t really find her in the crowd. Reaching the other side she sighed then looked back at the crowd that had seemed to be moving closer to the tables for testing but she could still not see the girl. She was about to give up when she heard someone yelling. She then headed towards where the noise came form and was glad when she saw the girl come into view. Reaching the edge she saw that there was what looked like shadows around her. She looked at the girl then said “Calm down it’s alright no one is going to hurt you.” She was a little nervous about this but didn’t really want anyone to get hurt if she used magic. She stepped in between the girl and the boy to try an calm her down.

((If we get to thirty posts, we'll need to slow it down for the others, okay guys? :)))

When she hit Tev, Dani visibly relaxed, no longer having his hand on her head. His quick maneuvers with the knife didn't seem to affect her either. Because she hadn't been angry in the first place, it was with surprising speed that she went back to trying to touch his hair. His worried state was lost on Dani, whose lack of empathy was rather worrisome. Her caretakers had joked that she wasn't human when she was little due to her inability to relate to another's emotions.

Obviously Julie would have had this taken care of in a jiffy, but it seemed that her file, sitting on the little shelf above the chair she had been sitting on, was ignored. Regardless, the boy's attempt to distract her could come to fruit. Her eyes lit up at the sight of the medallion, and she peered at his pocket when he put it back. To her eyes, the medallion had sparkled, tempting her to feel it with her hands.

"Can she see?" Dani asked the boy, pointing to the medallion. Before she could get a response, however, a girl came and stood between them, hands up in a gesture that asked for calm. Frowning, Dani stared up at the girl before trying to go around. "Medaw-wion?" she asked, lisping on the l sound.

Hikako simply stood there as he kept an eye on the girl only to notice that she was getting rather emotional for a moment. With his own eyes widened up in shock to see the shadows move for a moment, he was planning to step forward to try to help but it had seemed that things were already being taken care of by the other female student. If things were to get even more out of hand than that, he would have no choice but to step in and deal with this himself. His true element was fire and he had controlled lava already so it wasn't exactly difficult to make his own lava cool down on its own just to make anything harden around it. Listening to Ali about what the young girl was and how her files stated that she couldn't truly be harmed, Hikako kept his arms crossed while he stared at the commotion going on. "Becareful..indeed being autistic for her is indeed bad. Although we're still going to have to deal with her power. From just watching that..doesn't look like she can control it just yet..and last time I checked, we don't exactly have a teacher in the dark arts around here just yet." He stated with his tone low and as usual. Serious. Hearing that Ali wanted Hikako to find a girl named Seraphina Stockwells so that she could keep an eye on the young girl who controlled darkness while Hikako and Lucinda would be helping with the challenges. Using his index finger and thumb, he simply massaged the bridge of his nose; he was getting a major headache from all of this. So just taking a guess that the girl standing right in between the young girl that had just controlled darkness and the other male was the one he was looking for just from the pure guess that she was trying to help the young girl calm down. So as long as she could watch the young girl from controlling her dark powers, Hikako just gave an annoyed little sigh before turning right around and making his way away from the students to go work on the challenges.

Hiroshi at this point made his way out of the testing area and back into the main hall to wait for further instructions just as they were all instructed to do by the headmistress. By the time he had made it back into the other room where all the other students were, he simply took a seat right down onto the floor nearby the doorway as he watched some of the talking go on between the students along with seeing how one of the female students had used what seemed like a dark power while another female tried to stop her from harming another male student. He wasn't really too interested in what was going on, but rather he was just staring due to the fact that he had nothing else to do while he awaited for further instructions. Hikako was never really one to enjoy speaking anyway, so it made perfect sense to him why he wasn't really interested but rather just curious about what was going on. Although if help was needed, he wouldn't mind coming in to help at all; it was his one of the laws within his elf village before he left to help one another if help was needed to be given.

At first, Tev didn't understand what Dani had meant. It wasn't until a few seconds after the blonde girl arrived that he understood that Dani was talking about herself. Then she asked for the medallion, clearing up the last unknown. Tev reached into his pocket, pulled out the medallion, and starred at it. It was his most precious possession. The only thing in the world he actually cared about. He glanced up at Dani, then back down to his medallion, then up again. He hesitated. He looked at the girl who had jumped between them, the medallion, and the small girl. At last, he reluctantly outstretched his arm, presenting the medallion, but he kept a firm grip on it, nonetheless.

((Well... That makes 30, so...?))

((Considering no one's posted yet... I'll go ahead and move on.))

Dani broke out into a huge smile when Tev pulled out the medallion, eyes widening at the glinting silver. Reaching out, she touched it in his outstretched hand, not taking it, just feeling it. Then she giggled, smiling around the lollipop in her mouth.

It wasn't that she wanted the medallion. Her entire reason for wanting to see it was that it tickled her senses; like the boy's hair had done. Plopping down onto her bum, she pulled him down, heedless of whether or not it hurt him. "Dani," she said, simple as always, digging into her pocket. The item she pulled out was also a medallion, though dark. In fact, it seemed to exude a dark aura all by itself, causing the shadows to jump with glee.

Without a lick of hesitation, she presented the object to Tev. "You tuwn," she declared, sitting cross-legged from him. Chippy sat in her lap, tickling her bare arms. Turning her head slightly, she spit the finished lollipop out, oblivious to the fact that it was quite inappropriate.

Walking through the halls, Ali couldn't help but feel that she should be back there taking care of Dani. But she couldn't. Most of the students would see that as favoritism. Not to mention how busy she would be throughout the year. Sighing, Ali rubbed her temples. Then she stopped and took a breath. Magic needed calm. Suddenly, a light burst forth, traveling along the floor back the way they had come, and outside.

The message was to tell Lucinda to meet them in the staff room, eighth floor. She would need to help Ali and Hikako with setting up the challenge for the first day. It was designed to help improve student relations between Houses, but it could be such a bother. Especially since the team with Dani on it would have an advantage. Or would it? Ah! It was too much to think about now. Pushing the thoughts from her mind, she continued up into the staff room, motioning roughly for Hikako to take a seat as she did so herself.

Serafina watched as the two of them started looking at a medallion that the boy had. She then started to leave she was glad that the girl had clamed down and that the boy was now sharing his treasure with her. Reaching the edge of the crowd she then walked towards a window to look out at the surroundings. Standing by the window she just stared out it she would try and watch the girl but at the moment it looked like she was occupied with something. From the window all she could see was the forest and part of the path that she had walked up earlier. She was going to miss her little village while she was here but hopefully she would be able to make this place feel like home somehow. Hopefully soon she would be able to get to her dorm room so she could get some rest after all of her travelling she knew she was going to need it.

Dimitri saw the girl that had gone before him walk over to the window. Go. Introduce yourself. his mother's voice rang through his head. He smirked at the way she affected his every decision. He looked at her carefully before walking over."Beautiful huh?" he said smiling. The girl was obviously thinking about something. "What are you..."MANNERS"I'm sorry, forgot my manners. I'm Dimitri Merlin Millennium. What is your name?"

Serafina looked over at the boy when she first heard him not even realizing that someone had even walked over. She smiled slightly at his comment about the view and when he started to ask a question but stopped. When he introduced himself Serafina looked back out the window and said "It is different from where I came from but it is still beautiful in it's own way." She looked back over at him then smiled saying "It's nice to meet you Dimitri, my name is Serafina Roza Stockwell. But everyone back home just calls me Fina." She continued to smile thinking that maybe it wouldn't be too hard to make new friends after all, she then looked back out the window.

"That's a very nice name. Most of my friends call me D. You could if you like." He said smirking. He looked out the window and reveled in natures beauty. Being a half-elf made him more in tune with nature. He nodded at nothing and asked. "So you're in fire huh?"

It took a surprising amount of effort for Tev to keep his medallion out. It wasn't something he usually showed other people. But the small girl's exuberant smile completely disarmed him. The lollipop hanging loosely to the side didn't hurt either. Then he was pulled to the floor with more force than needed or expected, especially from one so small. Once on the ground, he wasted no time in stuffing his medallion back into the protective recesses of his pocket. As before, it took a few moments for Tev to understand that the girl, Dani, was introducing herself. Up to this point, he had never noticed the moving shadows. He could be quite observant, knowing all the signs of approaching danger, but once he was in an engagement, he lost sight for anything except his opponent. His "opponent" was now sharing her own medallion, and Tev still didn't notice the change in the shadows, at least not consciously. He did, however, sense something from the medallion, a strange push and pull sensation that drew his eyes to it. A part of his mind told him to stay away, another to investigate further. Eventually, he caved to curiosity. "Tev," he responded mindlessly, as he reached out and lightly touched the medallion.

While ignorant as to what a friend actually was, Dani considered Tev a friend. He was nice, and he smelled good. He hadn't put on so much cologne that it bothered her sensitive nose like a lot of other boys she had met. Strangely enough, sometimes Dani's caretakers had wondered if Dani even knew the difference between boys and girls. She certainly seemed oblivious enough to it.

"Mommy," she muttered, staring at the medallion fondly. It wasn't as if she remembered her parents. The only memory of her mother she had was the medallion being placed in the blanket with her when she was dropped off at the orphanage.

Suddenly, she jumped up, slapping Tev before dashing off, yelling as she went. "Tag!" she hollered as she darted by students, most of whom cursed at her as she bumped them. The medallion was safely in her pocket again. Like Chippy, who was dangling from her hand again, it was an object she would throw a huge fit over not having with her.

(O.O im going to skip my post for Hiroshi since i got nothing to do for him. OxO  hes just sitting in the room waiting for the 'further' instructions while looking out the door xD)

Hikako at this point was making his way down the hallway to make it right toward where the staff meeting room was. All the while he made his way there, he had both his arms hidden within his large cloak; the only reason for that was simply because of the fact that he never really liked keeping his hands out in plain sight due to him being a phoenix. Sometimes even the most powerful of wizards had emotional times at least once in their lives and if a wizard wasn't in complete control of their own emotions there was always a chance that their own power would end up going out of control sooner or later. So being a phoenix, if Hikako had ended up losing control of his own emotions and released the phoenix within him; there could be a chance he would engulf this entire school in flames and kill anyone in his own path without even realizing who it was. Although thankfully, that has only happened once in his life but luckily enough when it happened; he wasn't anywhere near anyone or anything for him to kill other than trees, and grass along with other plants. The only reason he had regained control and returned into his human form was thanks to the fact that he had run completely out of energy to go on any further. Even if the phoenix was the bird born from flames itself, it was still only a matter of time; just like everything else that was alive it would run out of energy and have to rest. So keeping his hands and arms hidden was only just in case anything had happened so that he wouldn't lose control of his power. So while he continued to make his way down the hallway until he finally came across the meeting room for staff. Turning right inside, only to notice that Ali was already there waiting and motioning Hikako to take a seat, he simply nodded without a word as he made his way over toward one of the chairs and sat right on down. Leaning back in the chair and turning his head left and right to notice the other heads of the other houses still weren't here yet, he simply gave a little sigh and shook his head a bit. "So, are we going to wait on Lucinda?" he stated with his tone sounding serious as usual.

Serafina looked over at Dimitri and smiled saying "Thanks, and D it is." She looked back out the window when he asked about her house and sighed saying "Yea, though it was kind of easy after what happened back home. I just didn't want to burn anything by accident on the first day." She paused then looked over at him asking "What house are you in? I didn't really stick around after I got tested so I didn't get to see." She smiled waiting for him to answer, she thought that it was nice to have someone to talk to already on the first day.

Tev was rather dumbfounded. He had never played tag before, having only ever had one friend, and fairly late into his schooling to boot. He leapt to his feet and started after her. Then he stopped. He had no business with her. She was just some stranger who had walked up and disrupted his day. It wouldn't benefit him in the least to give chase. More to the point, it could very easily cause him trouble. But she had piqued his interest. At the very least, it might be a good idea to learn a little more about this Dani. He looked at the faces of the surrounding crowd. Many who had seen the whole interaction were already giving him strange looks as the whispered to their neighbors. Ah, screw it. He gave chase, though, Dani's small stature in such large crowd made doing so exceedingly difficult.

Oblivious to the students around her, Dani failed to see the foot that tripped her, sending her falling face-first. The crowd snickered as she scrambled for Chippy, who had fallen from her hand. Then she saw him dangling in front of her, and reached for him, only to have him pulled up out of her reach. "Give back!" she yelled, jumping for her bat again.

"Hey, Tony! Catch!" the boy yelled, throwing the stuffed animal to his friend. Dani turned to him and jumped for it as well, but he just threw it back to the other boy, who threw it to a third boy when she went after it. In fact, she was so focused on getting her bat back that she never even considered hitting them.

The game of tag with Tev was forgotten by Dani, whose only goal right now was to get Chippy back. Attachment to an object or two at this level was actually one of the deciding factors as towards her diagnosis. It was a clear symptom of autism, which anyone who knew the signs could figure out.

He said softly. Lex never wanted to leave his grandmothers house. He only did it first his brothers sake. He took his brothers hand and they walked into the school. Tev lost Dani and was just about to give up on finding her, when he heard a scream. He rushed over and saw Dani frantically running between three boys who were tossing her strange bat toy back and forth. The scene was all too familiar to Tev. He had experienced the same type of tormenting on a near daily basis, until he had finally grown large enough that he could fight back.

Watching carefully, Tev quickly picked out the leader. It was the one the other two boys kept glancing over at, to see what to do. He waited until the bat was in the leader's hand and then stepped smoothly out in front of him. Tev fixed him with a vicious glare, his silver hair and red eyes helping to create the intended message. Though, just in case it wasn't clear enough, he decided to give him auditory directions as well. "Give it to me," he ordered. The boy was visibly distressed, which pleased Tev. At least I know I can still intimidate some people. What did not please him however, was that, in the bully's moment of panic, he was about to throw the bat to someone else. But nervousness made him slow, and Tev was always quick. As the boy raised his arm to throw, Tev grabbed it, forced it down to his side, and swiftly punched him in the gut with his other hand, pushing upward after the punch to add increased effect.

The bully handed the bat over to him before staggering away. Tev couldn't help a small smile from forming on the edges of his mouth. It felt good to make someone submit, to learn their place. Then he shook his head, that was a cruel way to think of the world. Tev was about to return the little bat to Dani, but he stopped himself. Too many years of acting aloof and uncaring prevented him from doing so. Instead, he just tossed it behind him, as if he simply didn't care about the plushie. Though, when he did, it just so "happened" to land within inches of Dani.

Staring anxiously at Chippy, Dani failed to notice Tev step in front of the bully, causing him to stop, visibly afraid. From behind Tev, Dani couldn't really see what went on, but it appeared the boy had been hit. Then Tev threw Chippy over his shoulder, which Dani scrambled to pick up. Brushing him off, she hugged the bat tightly before following behind Tev.

"Misses Ju-wee says dat she supposed ta say tankies when peoples dos nice tings, so, tankies!" Dani said, face beaming. Tev really was nice! Though Dani didn't quite get why she was supposed to say thanks or please. Manners were something that flew over her head.

Digging into her pocket, she pulled out a lollipop before presenting it to Tev. She figured she should do something nice in return. Misses Julie said it was only proper, though again, Dani didn't understand why.

Following her new friend, Dani heard parts of the others' conversations that confused her. What on earth was a boyfriend? Frowning, she looked up at Tev. His description had come up several times. Maybe he would know what it meant.

"I'm in the Pure House." Dimitri said curtly. "Like my Da." He smiled when she decided to call him D. It was a lot simpler. He smiled until he heard and outcry behind him. Apparently the Dark Girl from earlier had had her bat plushie stolen. He was about to help her when the demon boy took charge. He smiled at his actions, seeing the caring though the mask of aloofness. "So Our towers are right next to each other."

((Sorry. @.@ I kind of got detached from the roleplay for a little bit. I had to read everybody's posts really fast, so if I'm forgetting something or something doesn't sound right in my post, please tell me.))

Lucinda had walked inside, staying in the corner of the lobby to watch the students, Hikako, and the Headmistress. Such a strange day. She felt unnerved: extremely unnerved by the small child causing such a commotion. She had heard of dark magic, the magic of the demons, and how after eons a being would be cursed with this magic. Well, not cursed. She considered the possibility that a being with this magic could live just fine, and not be devoured by the evil lurking inside of them. But--

Oh, blast. What now?

The dazed harpy, now turned to look out of an ornate window in the lobby, was approached by a familiar light teeming with magical energies. She also had noticed that Hikako and Ali were gone from the room. Turning her attention back to the light, she realized this message was from the Headmistress. And this was not the first time she had been summoned by her. A bead of sweat dripped from Lucinda's forehead as she heard the rather stern message in her mind, and quickly followed the light to the room where Hikako and Ali were waiting.

"By the Sacred Winds, I am so sorry, Headmistress!"

Panting to herself, the clumsy Harpy hurried over to a chair and smiled sweetly (but stupidly) at Hikako. She was half expecting him to start belittling her in front of Ali, but knew better. Hikako was strong and silent: he said few words, and expected few back. She had faith he wouldn't do that to her. At least, not now. She knew that he didn't like her very much, and by how much of a bumbling, carefree idiot Lucinda was, she had a feeling that his opinion of her would get worse as time went on.

"Heh... it seems I have a natural skill for being late..."

Scratching the back of her head, she glanced at Ali and nodded, as if to say Go ahead. Maybe Ali would help Lucinda get more informed as to what the current situation was with this young Dani girl.

Serafina smiled when she heard that he was in the pure house and then looked voer her shoulder when she heard a noise in the background. She sighed knowing that she should porbably do something but when she saw the boy from ealirer step in and help her, she was glad that someone else was going to help her. She looked back at Dimitri when he said that their towers were right next to each other. She smiled then said "Yea I guess they are."
