"I just wish she could be here, this Is her home too. Irish bastard"he said, grabbing his pistol, and grabbing the clip, and loading it, by hand. He wasn't comfortable if he didnt have a firearm in hand.

Deciding to chime in, Vixen smiled. "Watch your language in front of your mother." She teasingly chastised.

"Trust me, I get my sailors tongue from my mum."he said, teasing his mother, then placing his pistol on the desk, and looking out the window. "There is a car out front. Irish mob, two guys."he said.

Ignoring her own advice, Vixen swore. "This is just great. I'm not supposed to be out, even if we were showing them purposely to play out the kids in love thing. Obviously I was gone too long for father's liking, and we led him straight to your mother, who he knows!" She said, standing up abruptly.

"Oh, don't you worry about me. I knew you'd be followed. Your father was always just as protective of your mother, used to send goons after her all the time when we were together. I'm not surprised at all by this." Nichole said calmly.

Joseph reached into his pocket, and laid a fat stack of cash onto the desk, writing something on a certificate "here you go ma'am, this should cover the cost of the horse."he said. "Come on now, love. We need to pick out which one wants you."he said.

Catching on quickly, Vixen smiled sweetly at him. "Okay. Oh, I can't wait. How romantic, to come out here and buy a horse just because I said I loved them." She said, her voice that of a lovestruck teenager as she clasped onto his arm.

"I live to impress, Lady Brennan. "he said, grinning. He then lead her to the Stable. The ones for sale were no older then 5, and no Younger then 3. "Here's all the horses they have. "he said.

Vixen didn't have to act once they entered the stable. She was genuinely enchanted by the horses. Stepping forward to greet each of them, she smiled. "They're all so beautiful. Oh, this one seems to like me. Hello, there." She laughed slightly as she came upon a sleek, pure black Arabian stallion. The horse sniffed at her hand and huffed, ruffling her hair. He did, in fact, seem to like the young woman. "Definitely this one." Vixen said, patting the horse's nose gently.

Joseph took the Reins, and handing them to Vixen. "Here. He's yours. "he said to her.

Vixen took a moment to acquaint herself with the horse. "He needs a name. I like Saber, what do you think?" She asked, though it wasn't clear whether she was asking the horse or the man. The horse snuffed at her hair again, showing it's approval.

"As long as he likes it, fine by me, my lovely Rose of Ireland."he said, trying out nicknames.

Vixen snorted and raised an eyebrow at him. "If that was an attempt at a nickname, could we keep looking? It's sweet, but a little forced sounding." She said, smiling at him. "I appreciate the effort, though. After saving me so many times, maybe I should call you my guardian angel?" She tried.

"hm.....Your nickname is Vixen, which is a female fox. I am your useful Guard dog........The Fox, and The hound?" he asked. It was a good analogy, and one he knew she would understand.

(They are natural enemy's, and they live in two different worlds. Plus, I used to love that movie as a kid)

Vixen smiled at the analogy. "I like it. A reference to something we clearly share, and a reminder of more innocent times. Very deep." She said appreciatively.

"Just a little note. "He said, and leaned close. To her watchmen, this may seem more....exotic then thought, but it was to give a message only. "Everything I've said today, about us? I meant." he said, smiling. Truth be told, she was a prime example of what he fought against, but she also was something that he'd never encountered, and truth be told? he was Enthralled.

Vixen fought hard against the blush that tried to creep across her cheeks, but some of it still got through. "Joseph..." She whispered, unable to really say anything else. Honestly, he was everything she was supposed to hate. And against her whole being, against everything that told her not to, she was falling for him.

"Shh. Don't speak. "He said, then leaned forward, and gently kissed her. In truth, they couldn't be more different. One consumed with righteous anger and revenge, the other with a thirst for redemption, and freedom. Opposites attract, it would seem that this couple would prove it true.

She couldn't help it. Despite what she had been through just earlier that evening, despite the fact that her father would know about this, despite every instinct that told her to run, Vixen melted into the kiss. It was like tasting the freedom she'd always wanted. Wild and dangerous and probably wrong, but so damned good. Once they had to break apart for air, she leaned forward so that she was very close to him. "You're like a drug. Bad for me in every way, but I just can't stop." She whispered into his ear, so low that only he would hear her.

"I could also get you killed. Story of my life. "He whispered.

The two Watchmen approached Joseph, both raising Uzi's up at him. "You there. Joseph. The Boss wants a word with you. "one said.

Vixen turned to face the watchmen. "You put those down right now. Joseph and I will come with you, but only if you behave yourselves. And yes, I am going as well. Anything Father has to say, he can say to me as well." She said defiantly.

"I'm sorry Ma'am, but I have my orders: You are to be escorted to your room, and Your Guard taken to see The boss, alone. "he said to her. He then pushed Joseph to the car. "move."

"And now you have different orders. Move over, and when we get back you can tell father nice try but I won't be escorted like a child." Vixen said, pushing the man out of the way and getting into the car with Joseph.

"No Disrespect ma'am, for I sure as hell don't want a Hollow point round in my head, but you're not my boss yet. I still follow Mister Brennan's orders. "he said, getting in, and starting to drive.

Since Vixen was already in the car, she just shrugged. "That will all change soon. Anyway, I don't take orders from anyone but father himself, and since he's not here I'll do as I please." She said, clearly not giving in.

"You wanna call him, to confirm it, be my guest. "he said, and stopped in front of the house. "Here we are."
