You may be wondering, what is this contest all about?
It's really simple! All you have to do is design and decorate a lantern or lion dance costume for the occasion. You may either use the templates given below, or start fresh! Make sure they are your own work, of course.
Be creative and have fun!

Rules and Things to Remember

• Please abide by the TOS and site rules at all times.
• You may enter for each category as many times as you wish.
• Please fill out the entry form properly during submission. Incomplete or wrongly filled forms would not be accepted.
• Ensure that the work submitted is your own. Art theft is a punishable offense. You do not want to be punished for that!
• All forms of media are accepted. Just make sure that they are submitted under the right categories.
  If you are submitting a photograph of your entry, please make sure that the photo is of decent quality, otherwise I would not accept the entry.
• Please use your main account to submit all entries. There is no reason to use your mule.
• It is possible to win in more than one category.
• I may add more categories when announcing the winners after the contest has ended.
• The results would be announced within one or two weeks in Community Discussion after the event.

Is it just me, or does it never actually say what you're supposed to do? XD

I think your sposed to color the images, if im not correct, then I have NO IDEA. XD

Yeah, my guess is that you're supposed to design the lamp or the dragon. XD It's just odd that it doesn't say.

How cool!!! So can i use products at home to design something awesome and just take a photo and upload it? So long as it looks similar???

I think I may actually join this for once since I have no school next week and have the time to draw!! =D

@Cami: Good observation. I guess he just figures that we are clever enough to know what to do.

i think i will give this a try. I saw the results of the winter one and they were cool.

I'd love to enter, but...is there any way I could get the lantern picture in JPG? :S

I you print screen you should be able to get a jpg or at least save it as one. <3

Yes, you could do that. Just make sure the photo is of decent quality, that's all I ask. =D

It is up to you whether you wish to include a background or not, but it is not compulsory. :yes:
