Not really. I don't plan on getting any of the commons for myself.
I'm thinking I will get two sets of the EIs then use the rest of the hearts to get commons and sell them back after the event or I might get a few sets of EIs to sell. Not sure yet.

That's the best way to do it though.
Whenever I want lots of event commons I always make a list. That way I don't buy something I don't want or more then one of a item.
