where we're going to be professing our undying love to the VIP residents of Menewsha;

the ones who pop in just to steal our hearts, leave a little gift,

and disappear again just as suddenly as they came...

I'm talking about the NPCs!

About This Contest



There are two categories for this contest:


♥︎ Drafted ♥︎ & ♥︎ Crafted ♥︎


Entries for the "drafted" category must be 2D,

and can either be written, drawn, or a combination of both.

All forms of writing are welcome, be it poem, letter, short story, etc.

Drawn entries may be digital or traditional medium, as long as it's flat.

Animations will count for this category.



Entries for the "crafted" category must be a 3D physical craft

(eg. knitting, resin art, jewelry, etc.).



You are allowed to submit up to 3 entries for each category

♥︎ that means you can submit 6 entries total! ♥︎



If you take a photo of your valentine, your username must be visible in the photo,

and if you draw your submission digitally, you must sign it or use a watermark.



Once you've chosen your category,

pick the NPC you have the giddiest schoolchild crush on

and dedicate your creation to them.



It can be from yourself,

from the perspective of one NPC to another NPC,

or to multiple NPCs, or whatever else you can imagine,

as long as it's noticeably related to at least one of the NPCs.

Guess what my mule Interstellar is thinking to earn points. If you earn enough points by the end of the event, you may win a prize! (i'm gonna have to figure that part out, something i can draw that's easy, maybe i'll use a base and draw like teeny tiny sprites of backgroundless avis with an item cap of maybe 20 items?)

rules of the game - Interstellar
Each day, I'm going to think of three things. One will be easy, one will be medium, and one will be hard. The easy option will be a one or two word answer, the medium one will be the title of some work of fiction, and the hard option will be a well-known saying or quote. You will get one clue at the beginning of each day to spark your thinking, and guesses will be accepted until ghostPastry wraps up that day, and nudges me to post to start the new day. You are allowed to guess as many times as you'd like! Just please keep it to one guess for each difficulty level per post, and no sandwich posting! (That means please wait until two people have posted before you post again.) You may guess for any number of the difficulty levels, so you could give your guess for Easy, Medium, and Hard, just make sure you use the forms for each corresponding guess. When someone has guessed the correct answer, ghost will pop in to let everyone know that guessing has been closed for that difficulty level. When all answers have been guessed, ghost will close guessing for that day. Winners will be announced immediately, and points will be awarded as soon as possible. You can also earn points for a creative guess, a funny guess, and/or a very close guess. You can't lose points, you can only earn them.
