This is just adorable! The kappas work so well for wonderfully interactive avatars, but they really shine when they get the show to themselves! Just look at this little guy! That's some extreme helium in that balloon, he's really struggling to not end up floating away, bless him.

He'd probably get tangled in the tree branches and be stuck there, dangling, until someone came by and helped him! Because there's a lot of branches, isn't there? Extremely clever use of the rose background to create more branches, totally impressed by that! I love the sombre look of area; a slightly desolate shoreline, almost mangrovey where the trees are growing down into the water.

With any luck this dude's gonna give up on his balloon and head on home soon. Though he is a kappa, maybe we should be more afraid of him! This might be a ploy to lure people into the water :O Will we ever know?!

I really love this. Looking at it reminds me of the countless times I've been at some outdoor gathering late at night, surrounded by people and lights and music, and have slipped away just to the edge and looked out into the dark woods. It's that beautiful place between mirth & the safety of company and "something rich and strange" -- when my body is here, but only just.

So I guess you could say that this avatar reminds me of my own mortality. Weird.
