That's terrible about the stairs though! And soap is such a pain to clean up. V_V

We got her a harness and leash. She doesn't mind me putting it on her, only tries to bite when I accidentally pinch her or get her hair caught. Took her outside and she was fine being held. I put her on the ground and she started crying. Guess she's an indoor only cat!! XD

Daw! Maybe if you carry her around outside a bit, she might get curious about things and more interested in walking around?

She'll get the chance when we travel up to see my parents in two weeks. :3 for now it's just going to be out on harness carry her onto the apartment landing, once a day.

She started using her kitty house again, now she's bigger so it's a snugger fit. but it's in the living room, it's a cave, and she can see us from inside it.

Ling: She's what's called an Odd-Eyed Cat. It's called heterochromia, it's a genetic mutation that causes melanin (color) to not develop in certain places. Here's more info on it. Odd-eyed cat - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Fur monster woke me up by patting my face. She had flipped her food dish over and was hungry.

We're traveling 16 hours to my parents at the end of the week. We don't have a pet carrier but we do have a large blue sack!!
Don't worry it's possibly her favorite place to nap.

How has she acted in the car in the past?

She's only been in a car without a carrier once, and that was when we caught her. Otherwise she cowers in the back of the crate.

well she won't be in a crate that's for sure. so hopefully that helps her.

If we didn't keep my kitty in him box she would wander around the car crying. It was better to keep him inside. >.<

She'll have her harness that we'll tie to the seatbelt in the back and her big blue bag. Hopefully things will be fine because we won't have a carrier until after we get to 'Bama. Also it's a 16 hour drive.

I hope everything goes well! And if it doesn't take solstice in the fact that whatever the outcome it will probably be hilarious.

for certain!!! She's in the bird cage playing with a foam basketball right now. I don't think any bit of her life isn't going to be filled with antics. :3
