Daisy: I normally go weeks without a day off but lately, I've been stressing a lot. I'm trying to at least have one day where I have "me" time and turn my phone and everything off so I can be a hermit for the day. Plus I need to catch up on my art.

I am the sammmme way. Like. I build up all this stress from prolonged social interaction that eventually I just...need a day to myself. XD

I need to catch up as well! I have orders coming in from friends and people on here xD! I just have school so it is hard. Plus I won't be at my house all weekend.

I just have a few "me" pieces sitting around that I need to finishing. Oil paintings mostly. I'm excited because I just bought new paints that are awesome and I can't wait to use them.

I have a Deviantart page but it hasn't bee updated in like forever. I just pretend I can paint. :P

xD I can't really paint for my life really. (My opinion.) I have simple work but I have done more detailed paintings before. I like to just use pencil and ink.

I think that I can't really draw either but I tend to be really hard on myself and I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I really have no technique either. I just do what I think will accomplish the look I want. XD

Because I am a terrible artist. I always have been. XD I can sketch anime-style people, but that's mostly it.

Same here xD! I am such a perfectionist. I will have something that looks horrible to me but EVERYONE else like it!

I'm the same way with my music. Everyone else will say it's fine but then there will be a little thing that I think can be fixed and I'll go crazy with trying to fix it.

I agree that anyone can draw. It's a learned skill.

Yep. Seeing different styles is one thing I love about looking at other people's art.

Same here. It is weird have I can do so many different styles though.

I was looking through old art of mine when cleaning my "office"AKA the art room and noticed that I've changed my style a lot within the past few years without really noticing until I looked at everything.

I can change mine by looking at another persons style. My personal style is different than the ones I do when I have references and OC's/Avatars to draw.

XD I know, Daisy. Anyone can draw. I am not talented in the visual arts! My talents lie in the literary arts, though! :yes:
