I used to be a lurker like mad on here... back when I wasn't known and when everybody forgot who i was. Still some of that habit.

For me it's because I felt like I didn't really matter, also that if I talked to much or not in the right way I would get in trouble. It was kinda a culture shock coming over here from Gaia. I hated the rules at first but they made me a better person to talk to.

I like Mene's rules
I feel like they bring out the best in people instead of allowing the worst

that makes ssense I didn't talk much in the beginning.
but I didn't feel very welcome at all.
it was a big difference from gaia.
but I love mene so much more!

I love Mene because when I first came here I felt very welcome and many people were so nice to me and they were friendly and kind
When I visit other avatar forums everyone is already acclimated to their own friends, so they don't invite you to chat in their hangout threads or help you out with clothing your avatar or anything. :S
