It's a show where two historical figures go head to head through a simulation based on data gathered from their weaponry and ability on the battlefield. It's a great show for techies, history buffs, and weapon-lovers! I know my brother enjoys it a lot.
I love DW! I was so happy when the new season started on my birthday ^.^
Sometimes the tests are unfair, and one person has an obvious advantage, but it's always amusing, entertaining, and bloody ^.^
I'm so happy the new season has some females in it. It's about time girl warriors got the spotlight.
Yeah, this time, when they consider more factors, I feel like there's a more level playing field, so maybe in the future there won't be such an "obvious" advantage.
And yes! Girl power! Joan of Arc actually just won, right? :D
just got into it actually. Did you see the episode with the SEALS? Did no one tell him he could stop after he decapitated the torso with the knife? That guy was nuts.
I have a personal intrest in next weeks battle between teddy roseavelt and lawrence of arabia. My great-grandfather was one of roseavelt's rough riders, and fought literally right beside him on san juan hill during the spanish american war.
Guys, if you're interested, there was this show my brother and I watched online called Fight Science from the National Geographic channel. It's a whole series, but I just watched the segment called "Stealth Warriors" or something. It analyzes how the body works for certain feats of martial arts and evasion.
It reminds me a lot of how the Deadliest Warrior team hooks up sensors to people. :3
Haha, I'm actually wondering how they're going to measure the abilities and mindset of either side. Who's going to be the "weapons expert" for vampires? And who's the "strategist" for zombies? >x<

At comic-con, Max Brooks, the writer of World War Z, was the zombie expert, and the writer of the graphic novel 30 Days of Night was the vampire expert.
they actually did a lot of reaserch of the different types of zombies and vampires and had a pretty good match up. They had x factors for intelligence, feeding instinct, endurance, simulators of strength and speed, vampires claws strength vs. zombie hands. The power of a zombie hoard vs. 1 vampire.
