I own the movie and the soundtrack. :]
I love it and can recite it. It's fantabulous.

This was really a great movie, it's always interesting when you fall in love with a character like Sweeney Todd. But really it can't be helped!

I just felt sorry for the little boy

Personally, any musical where cannibalism is the main crux...Is just awesome! I love me the Sondheim!

just wondering, is anyone here a fan of the movie Sweeney Todd?
i know there are at least two versions of the movie. there is this older version that i haven't seen much of. Then, there is the Tim Burton version, starring Johnny Depp.
the second one is the one i'm talking about. i really liked it, even tho it was bloody and violent. it's got a really good story to it.
does anyone else like this movie?

absolutely loved the movie. went and saw it on a whim at the theatre and was really glad i did. don't think it'd have the same effect watching it on a tv. great music and johnny depp and helena bonham carter are perfect for their roles. i did think the song "Joanna", that the young guy sings to the girl was a bit creepy though.
