yup i do gaze at the stars for that reason too... space and time are amazing when it comes to keeping my mind occupied. But what i meant about the time machine is more like being a ghost and be able to see everything time and space has been through... being completely nonjudgmental and observing everything that has ever happened. The extreme horrific as well as the most exquisite beauties time has gone/passed through... And i desire this only to gain wisdom and be free of our limited vision of self... we are trapped within our selves...

Doesn't death from family guy do that... or the actual grim reaper in real life. I would love to be able to travel through time. I would probably try to mess with famous historical figures and make them trip on things. haha XD

hehehe yes that would totally open up the multiverse concept properly to visualize... change something and see how the world would have been... Ahhh... but its all in the mind

There are also those wonderful philosophies that say time is an illusion or the ones that say you can not accurately prove or disprove the fact that you wake up everyday in the same universe or dimension. I think philosophers really liked to mess with people's minds. Other people think time is irrelevant as well. I wonder what would happen in a dimension that has life, but no sense of time.

Time's become rather irrelevant for me. it never used to be, but two years of being at home did that. Now I'm just moving forward and I'll get where I want to be when I get there.
Time could very well be something that people came up with to trick themselves into thinking that the world and it's workings are orderly.

@SuperZombiePotatoe That mindset reminds me of the main character from the movie Garden State. Have you ever seen that? It isn't really about time travel, but it is about a transitional period in someone's life.

Garden state is a movie that came out in 2004. If you consider ten years recent then yes, if not then it would be an old movie haha. If you know the show scrubs, Zach Braff played Dr. John Dorian in that show. That actor also wrote and directed the movie Garden State. I love it. He actually recently came out with another movie called Wish I Was Here. That has a different vibe to it, but it is a great film as well.

Well, that's fairly recent and not old enough for me to consider it old
I've seen a bit of scrubs so I know the guy. I'm always looking for good movies. I might give it a look

OMG your avatar changed into a horse!? Any special reason or is it just for fun?

I do love garden state. He recently made another movie called "Wish I Was Here"
It was a different story, but it was a good movie as well. In my opinion of course.

Hehe, late reply considering that I'm not a horse any more. But, it was for fun! A bunch of us were trying to cosplay afrodonkey. It's from a CI, Ixion's Children

I have not yet looked up the movie. I'll tell you what I think when I watch it

Captain Howdy: I am enjoying the site. I am currently proud of my slow but steady increase in gold due to my attempt to play snake on here everyday haha.
Maha-Aamir: *catches confetti an puts it in my pocket.
SuperZombiePotatoe: That's cool haha. Now your avatar looks cute, not as Afro-donkey.

I have only tried helicopter and snake haha. I have been unwilling to learn the new menewshan games as I spend all my time hoping to beat the high score on snake. :P

And, thank you, 2600. Trying to match my new flower. By the way, for your steampunk look, I've sent you a steampunk-ish hammer.

In the first few days after you join you get a notice, then after a while they stop, so it's best to tell someone about a trade

Why would they not tell you if you had a trade? I went and saw that there were two open trades. You people are so kind.

Hullo! Thanks for welcoming me on my Fresh Meat thread! Thought I'd drop by :)
I haven't tried the quests yet- or the games will you believe it! Although I'm socially awkward IRL I'm way too much into socialising on Mene... but what can I do if the people are so awesome?
I think Magic is what science can't explain yet. (Sometimes I don't think science is really all that there though. I CAN'T accept something to be a wave and particle at the same time. And that's something fishy right at the fundamentals, which makes me pretty sceptical.)
And I think time is just packaged events. Of course that doesn't fit with time slowing down in a black hole or whatever, but I still don't think time is something real, just something we invented for our own convenience.
