Expensive clothing has problems fitting. o:



The pants were my first clothes I had bought, so for whatever reason I thought the glitch would go away upon wearing them. But after saving (being donated ahem) 5k and actually getting them, they show underwear. A lot of the clothes in the shop do, it seems.

The first three aren't glitches and the staff is very aware of that problem. Those clothes were made to fit the old male base, which was switched about a year or two ago. They've been repixeling clothes to fit the new base ever since, and some just haven't been repixeled yet.

The best way to solve that issue it to put on a layer underneath it that matches the color of what you're wanting to wear.

The last image actually a glitch with the male underwear, which is easily solved by turning your avatar female, buying a female pair of panties, equipping them, and then switching your avatar back to male. Or by equipping the pants pose of black body wrap item.

Aviis all those items are going to be totally remade anyway, as they're terrible, lol. They are some of the very first items that were made over 2 and a half years ago and they're pretty dire. Eventually they will be spiffy and new, and fit! It's going to take a while though as that stuff is pretty low priority at the moment, it will get done though :yes:

You won't have to buy new items. And last I checked the panties were only a hundred and fifty gold. =S Which store did you look in? The basic underwear is in the store called 52.

Yeah you won't need to re-buy them, Aviis, the item in your inventory would just update automatically :yes: unless you're wearing it at the time, then you'd need to take it off then re-equip it.

No, because they're not slippers, lol ><

The slipper layer is for big fluffy things, not shoes that people in some countries call slippers.

The slipper layer was created because having slippers on the shoe layer was making the heads of them get tucked underneath things like jeans, so they were moved to their own layer to stop that from happening :yes:

I think the rope should fall behind the swirly shoe in this combination.

That's not actually possible because the shoe layer is close to the back on the layers, while the heldheld layers are close to the front. The only reason that shoe gets stuck in the rope is because it has the long curly toe :yes:

There's nothing that can be done about either of those issues I'm afraid. Our layering system is very basic, visualise a couple of decks of cards stacked on top of one another and that's it.

If an item's layer is in front of another then it's going to cover parts of what's on the other layer.

The ground items such as the floor rings have to go at the back or bottom of the stack, otherwise they'd sit in front of other objects instead of underneath them, so some details will get hidden by large props that are further forward.

The issue with the grass is because of the tall tuft at the front, if your foot/legwear is higher than the grass then there's no problem, but it does poke through your shoes otherwise because the height of it makes it conflict with a layer that's in front of it if that layer is lower. What it needs is for the front of the grass to be on a different layer to the back of it, but that's just not possible with our current system because it's so basic.

Like a multitude of other things, it will all be improved in the fullness of time :yes:

I was just gonna suggest putting the fireflies on the more forward layer of the mushroom ring (or perhaps the same layer as the light spell?)

The fireflies are part of the faerie ring though, they're not seperate from it, so that wouldn't be possible :)

I had issues last night equipping the new rat tail. It wouldn't show up on my avatar at all, even though it showed it as equipped.

That's my fault. Actually, you can blame Rando, lol. He told me the name was spelt wrong on some of the stuff so I fixed that. But because it was the early hours of the morning I wasn't exactly running at full speed, so I forgot to re-upload the tail.

Because of our craptastic layering system, if you change any aspect of an item that has a back layer, you have to re-upload the back layer before you save or the back layer disappears...

So on this avi you can see that the nero's robe is over the bell collar, which looks kinda weird :/

But I know there's necklaces that go over the robe, so I'm not sure why it's that way :sweat:

Also, the kitty tail winds up being behind the bonsai tree, and I'm not sure if that was intentional or not.

The collar is on the correct layer for that kind of item. What you need to bear in mind with pixel items is that they cannot drape like real life clothes would. So items that are on different layers sometimes end up inhabiting the same bit of space and cause these conflicts. The collar is on the choker layer, where it should be, but because it has a large bell on it, the bell ends up sharing the space of the robe, which is on a higher layer as it's placed so it can be worn over other items.

And yes the tail is supposed to go behind the tree, as the tree is next the the avatar and the tail, obviously, is behind it :yes:

I love the new CI's and eyes!
But! My handheld snowflake disappears when I layer it with the Sleep bubble. The ground pose works fine. I don't know this is the case with all handhelds because it's on the same layer?

That will be on the same layer, but there's another one that it can go on now, I'll go switch it out.
