I've borrowed the games, and I've played them through, but I've never been able to afford a console of my own. :c Shame, too, love shiny Eevees.

Ohh for reals. You can get them real cheap these days. Especially the 2ds.
I got my 3ds xl for my birthday. But we bought daves sister and jaxs godfather one as well and got them for less then $100 NZD. Secondhand of course.

:c I just don't have much of a pleasure budget. But one day I'd love for that to change.

GAH! That's such a tough one - I'm a HUGE Eevee fan and I loveeee the transformations so much. They're so CUTE! Plus I can't get that episode of Pokemon where all of the brothers had the original evolutions of Eevee and the youngest brother was coming of age to where he had to choose one of the evolutions but he refused and wanted to keep Eevee the way it was lol Gets me every time!! I have to say my favorites are Espeon, Glaceon, Sylveon, and Leafeon though - the new evolutions completely won me over Let me make sure I haven't evolved my Eevees yet and I'll let ya know! :D <3

As they turn up randomly in game. Kind of like winning lotto lol.

OMGGGGG!!!!! Omg. Seriously. HOW CAN I NOT HAVE KNOWN THESE EXIST!?
I don't think I have ever ran into one of these before!! Or at least not that I've recognized!! THEY ARE SO STINKING CUTE!!!
Especially Vaporeon and Espeon - but poor Eevee looks so sad being all grey!! Reminds me of the Grey Faerie on Neopets and how she turned pets Grey T_T BUT IT'S STILL SO CUTE!!
Omg. I think I have a new mission. GETTING THE SHINIEESSSSS! Do they register in the Pokedex? Or is it like the Gender where it only shows up when you go to details and doesn't make a different entry in the Pokedex?

Also I think I love Umbreon more now - I never really liked the coloring, but that blue is gorgeous..

Umbreon is my favourite pokemon lol

As far as I know they register? They come up with a red star which means they are shinny.
Its rare to encounter them in game. But theres a few things you can do to increase your chances. But now with the new 3ds they have that tracking thing which makes it easier.
Yeah true, but little grey eevee can turn into any shiny eevee. So she's amazeballs! :P

I haven't ever caught very many wild shinys. I think I've only gotten them twice. One was a shiny spinda on the original ruby the other one I caught was on omega ruby. A shiny happiny.

I've never caught a shiny personally. Only been given them.
But I haven't been playing lately due to my bubba, he takes up too much time lol.

I haven't played much lately either. Beat omega ruby and I've completed the national dex. The only pokemon I don't have are several of the event/legendary pokemon. Although With all the ones being released for pokemons 20th the only one I'll be missing is hoopa.

Yeah I haven't finished omega. I've completed alpha though.
Yeah they only just released hoopa in my country. So I just got that... And I think they had mew this month.
