Hello Mene!

I may be new (and naked ) but I do believe I have an idea that may benefit everyone in this community - a place to sit down, look back on our lives and find everything we can find in it that make us feel happy, accomplished an/or important.

Reality is a matter of perception, and the more you search for happiness, the quicker it will find you in turn!

So! You feeling down? I have a something for you to do to get better, believe it! Keep your eyes open as I'll be giving various exercises over my time here that I hope will bring some shiny thought into your life. For now, gather up and enjoy yourselves!

The standard Mene rules apply, along with the need for this place to be a positive and non judgmental zone. You have the right to feel down, but the goal here is to find ways to feel a tiny bit better, not to bring everyone else down. Should you want a friendly ear, however, feel free to ask for a private chat here without too much details and someone should be coming along in a PM in a flash.

Hey Heard! Wow, I love this idea! I think it's great! I'll make sure to sub to your thread here and try and check back in! I always try and find something in my day that I'm grateful for and that always makes me feel better

Thank you, here's a little trick I found helped cheer me up!

Quick trick to instantly be happier:

1 - Hold the door open for a random stranger in a public place.
2 - Get a thank you and maybe a smile!
3 - Bask in the easy happy feeling.

This is a great idea! XD I open doors whenever I can for people and every so often I get one person that is truly shocked to have someone open the door for them. That alwasy makes me feel pretty happy!

That's great! I haven't gotten as much as I wanted to do but the day isn't over so I'm trying to catch up! I'm trying to clean up my computer room cause there is paperwork everywhere

I hope the weather is as lovely where you are as to where I live! :)

Afternoon! (Evening now XD) It was pretty awesome out today!

Speaking of holding the door open.. I was out at the store today and got to hold some doors open for people today :P Always perks me up a bit!

I had a pretty good day today I got new grasses at the store to replace the ones that rodents ate over the winter >.< They look really nice though and it's nice to have our landscaping back to normal XD
