I love going through baby name sites. I finally started saving names based on their region, so I just pull open a .txt file when I want to get a character's name down (whether I use one of the actual names, or figure out something based from it.)

I used to sit around and make up names...only to look them up and find out they were real names. xD Now I'm lazy...I just go through lists and whenever one sticks out, I play with it a bit till I feel comfortable with it. :3

Ahaha, it's weird when you have a name you made up randomly, and then find it's the name of, say, a milk brand in another country. xD With the story I've been working on recently, I'm trying to do a lot of culture/country hopping and mixing, so I just go through name lists like a mad woman. xD I need to ask you about a Korean name, actually, I don't know if it actually works or not. x_x /plots a section of p.m. for later.

@Sarasvati: For me, charcoal is charcoal. xD For all I know, buying a bag of charcoal and shaping a piece into a stick would work the same. 8D

I should do that...lately I've been going more into different ethnic names...and every time I want a certain name, I have to skim through lists all over again. xD

*laughs* I made up a name and nearly fainted when I first came to Korea. In Seoul, right by Yongsan, there's an establishment with the name. I wanted to take a picture of it, but we went by it too fast in the taxi. I'm curious what kind of place it is...I didn't know if it was a store or some kind of brand...or what...8D

Anyways, I'm going to lay down for a bit. ^^;; I can feel myself feeling a little terrible right now. I just wanted to hang around for awhile while everyone I knew back in the States was still awake. T_T

I've taken to doing name generators on facebook actually. ^^; Its surprising the good stuff I find there!!

but vine charcoal just literally blows away and leaves not trace, pencil charcoals will stay some even if you try to rub it all away because it has some binding on it.

That's so funny! When I was in Corsica, we drove down this one street and there were two shops. One had my brother's name, the other had mine! I only got the store with my name due to my cousin's speedy driving, though, I was rather bummed. xD

when in Scotland, my family went to a small tourist town with our last name. Might possibly be the origin of my family in Scotland. My dad and brothers took millions of pictures, but I got into a fight with them and had to go pee as soon as there were no restrooms around so I was mucho miserable at the time and took no pictures of signs with my last name.

owo Mene almost never glitches for me. In fact, when I was hired to be a beta tester, I created more glitches than I found. xD
