In Tokyo japan theres a cafe were strang people work these people are able to turn into animals. The Mew Mews are young girls who have been injected with the genes of endangered species, giving them the ability to transform into the animal. The project chose endangered species because they felt that these species would have the strongest desire to preserve their kind. The superheroes are biological weapons tasked with fighting the chimera anima, the monsters created when alien parasites infect a living host. They are later called on to fight the aliens that were the source of the chimera anima invasion. The creation of the first five Mew Mews occurred accidentally; the head of the project, Ryô Shirogane, originally intended to inject a chimera anima with the endangered animal genes directly, to see if that would reverse the effects of the infection.

Finx hurried to the cafe having over slept that night she was late not like she really cared running helped her stay in shape but she didn't feel like getting yelled at. Finx slipped into the cafe and punched in "Made it." she said under her breath."

Cal shook his head Finx was always almost late but since she wasn't there wasnt much he could do but hope that next time she might be a little earlier. "Why are you always almost late?" Cal asked

"I don't take orders from anyone." Finx said cooly before starting her day.

Sakura smiled seeing Finx enter. "morning finx-chan!",she said as she came out with a tray of orders. Gooing to the table sne smiled to Cal. "give her a break"

Rakan smiled as he set a cake order on the counter. "hello Finx , how are you today?"

"Fine." Finx answered "Hello Sakura." she said heading for a table to take there orders.

"I'll go easy on her when she stops being almost late it makes more work for the rest of us." Cal said with a sigh

"At least i'm not late." Finx said with a smirk.

Sakura laughed. "yes she is almost late, she has yet to late yet",she said goig back to the table.s

Finx shrugged "i'm just that good." she smiled and winked at sakura will Cal fumed in the bakcground "Women." He threw his hands in the air in defeat.

Sakura laughed. "aw poor Cal",she said with a giggle. As she went by she patted his shoulder. " one day you will learn, the girl is always right",she said as she dropped off an order to Rukan.


Rukan laughed. "it is just not your day huh Cal?",he said grinning.

"Is it ever my day?" Cal asked "I'm surround by girls that turn into well you know." he lowered his voice so the customers wouldn't hear him. "I always lose."

Rukan laughed. "history repeats its self",he said calmly. "but it could be worse, they couls have been guys, who wouldn't work here, and you and I would be doing all the work here alone", he said whispering lowly. Then smiled as he went to go get the order he was just given.

Yukina looked back to Cal and Rakan and smiled some before going to other tables, greeting customers and such.

"True very true." Cal sighed "but why do I have to work with the loner." he glared at Finx

"i'm not that bad am I Sakura?" Finx asked putting on her best inoccent face.

Sakura smiled. "no I love working with you!",she said grinning. "Cal's just in a bad mood",she said calmly.

Rakan laughed bringing over the order. "Sakura your orders up",he said looking to Cal. "would you rather work with Sakura?"

"Yes actually." Cal said "She doesn't give me a headache."

Rakan laughed. "so far, but she might"

Sakura ran over grabbing the order. "thanks Rakan",she said and quickly bringing the order over.

Rakan looked to Sakura and then to Cal. "though her perkyness may rub off on you"

"Perky I can deal with emo I can't." Cal sighed making sure Finx couldn't hear him she hated being called emo the last person who had had wound up in the hospital of mysterious causes.

Rakan laughed. "she's not that bad",he said then linked hearing the computer beeping,going to the computer he growled some, then looked to Cal. "time to close out"

"Girls closing time." Cal yelled to them

"Sorry sir but were closing." Finx smiled to the customer "Come back tommorow and I'll give you a cake free."

Cal glared at her but didn't agrue just helped get rid of the few customers they had.

Sakura waved good bye t the customers , then as soon as the doors were closed she turned serious. "where is the chimera this time?",she asked going to the back.


Rakan looked to them." city park"

"Great." Finx said "Lets go kick some butt." she laughed lightly.

Cal sighed "Be carefull you two."

Sakura smirked to him."aren't we always?",she said heading for the door as she nodded to Finx. "right lets go",she said running off.

Rakan looked to Cal. "well, 95% of the time there careful"

"The other percent were bandaging them and the city up." Cal sighed

Finx hurried after Sakura ready to kick butt and take names.

Rakan laughed some. "yeahhh"

Sakura went into her pocket, pulling out a small pendent. She kissed it. "mew mew metamorphose!",she called out, there was a flash of light and she was in her fighter form.

Finx changed into her Mew form as well and pulled out her lasso.
