"Pietro Maximoff." Pietro glanced at her and nodded. He hadn't really met any liaisons yet, but so far she didn't seem any different from anyone else, really.

"We're here," Alexis said to Clint. "Right, he's right on the other side of that wall," she said to Kitty. "So if you could just get him out I'd be much obliged."

And then she and Autumn could go sign paperwork and drink some of Tony's coffee.

"Good to meet you, Mr. Maximoff." Autumn grinned a bit. "I act as the primary point of contact between the X-men and everyone else, mainly the other divisions and SHIELD."

"Alright," Kitty said. "How thick is the wall, and what's it made of?"

"It's about thirty inches thick," Bruce said from where he was fiddling with the door controls. "Steel-titanium alloy."

Kitty made a face at that (she didn't much like dense alloys) but nodded.

"Alright," she said. Touching the wall to get a feel for the metal, she stepped forward and disappeared into it, reappearing on the other side in seconds.

"Good to know." Pietro glanced around the room quickly before letting his attention wander again. "So you deal with all this voluntarily?"

"Ah, there you are," Tony said with a brief grin. "Nice to see you again, Kitty." He didn't look any worse the wear for having been stuck in the vault.

Alexis hopped up near Clint so she could listen in on the two. She very nearly face-palmed at Tony.

"More or less," Autumn replied. "It's really not a bad job, there are other liaisons who have it much worse."

"You owe me, Tony," Kitty said, giving him a hand up and keeping a firm grip on his wrist. "Come on, let's get you out of here."

"I can guess." Pietro looked at Alexis. "She's the liaison for this group, I presume."

"Yeah, yeah, I'll give you shiny new tech," Tony said as he followed her over to the wall and then through the wall. He really hated that feeling.

"She is, yeah," Autumn said. "She works closely with the Avengers, now that Coulson has his own pet project."

"You'd better," Kitty said as she pulled him along with her. "Hold your breath until we reach the other side."

"I see." Pietro shrugged and went back to looking around at other things in the room.

Tony didn't get a chance to respond, instead just walking through with her. When they arrived on the other side, he huffed.

"Much better."

"Good," Kitty said, straightening her jacket. "Try not to get stuck in there again, that alloy is a bitch to get through."

"It's not like I tried this time," Tony snarked right back, even as he grabbed one of a few test versions of a new StarkPad, handing it over. "Here. See how much you can damage that."

"Tony..." Alexis groaned and let her head thunk back against the wall.

Kitty took the StarkPad and promptly put her hand through it.

"Well, it survived that," she said, taking her hand back again. "That's something." she grinned. "I'll put it through its paces, don't you worry."

Autumn just looked amused, and sent Alexis a sympathetic look.

"Just a second, Kitty," Alexis sad, hopping down and going to go get another form. "Sign here, please. Autumn, we'll add this to the stack. Stark, go make coffee, you're providing us coffee for all this work we have to do because of you."

Tony rolled his eyes but had Jarvis start the coffee (because it could be started remotely now).

"Fax me a copy," Autumn said, nodding to Alexis. "I'll add it to my files." She was already pulling out an identical form, only this one had the information in reverse. "Tony, I need you to sign this, please."

Tony signed with his usual flourish. "Right, we're good here now, yes? I can go back to figuring this out?"

"Yes, get back to work." Alexis rolled her eyes and headed for the stairs to go up to the kitchen. Pietro just blinked at everything.

Autumn sighed as she put the form away.

"I've already gotten the okay from them to stay for dinner," she said to Kitty and Pietro. "Or you can head out now and possibly get home in time to get something. Up to you both."

Pietro shrugged. "I'll stay unless you want to go," he said, looking at Kitty. It didn't matter to him either way. So far things weren't going any faster here than anywhere else.

"I think we should head back," Kitty said. "Thanks for the invite, but we should help get the mansion presentable." She grinned a bit. "A few of the kids got a bit excited that we're getting the visit tomorrow."

Autumn nodded.

"Alright," she said. "Then I'll see you both in the morning."

Pietro nodded and escorted Kitty back downstairs and out so they could head back to the mansion. Not that he'd end up doing much cleaning anyway, but.

Alexis was waiting up in the kitchen, filling out paperwork with her cup of coffee close at hand.

Autumn wandered into the kitchen, following the smell of coffee.

"Now that that crisis is overwith..." she muttered, helping herself to the caffeine. She sighed. "Two hours of paperwork for a fifteen-minute op."

"Seriously." Alexis was already hunched over her own batch, keeping track of everything. "Clint, would you mind grabbing the cookies on top of the fridge for us?" She knew he was around somewhere, probably in a vent.

Autumn gave Alexis something of an odd look and then raised an eyebrow when Clint swung down from the ceiling, grabbed the cookies, and then disappeared back into the ceiling again. For a moment, there was silence, and then the ceiling tile just above them and to the left opened, and the archer dropped down again, cookies in hand.

"Here," Clint said.

"Thanks. That was kind of the long way of doing it, but I suppose I should never expect normal from you." Alexis saw Autumn's look and grinned. "Eventually you get used to him dropping out of the ceiling."

"I'd heard about this, but I thought people might have been exaggerating a bit." Autumn made a face. "Obviously not."

"Hey, I was already up there," Clint said. "No sense in getting down again when I was just going to come back up anyways."

"Nope, no exaggerations." Alexis grinned and took a cookie, dunking it in her coffee. "You going to stick around and laugh at us over paperwork or go do something more productive?" She looked at Clint.

"Nope, paperwork puts me to sleep, ask Phil," Clint replied. He grinned and disappeared into the ceiling again. "Later!"

Autumn looked at Alexis.

"I'm so sorry," she said. "I appreciate my division much more now."

"That's what everyone says but Deadpool division," Alexis said with a sigh as she went back to filling out paperwork. "And they're all like that."
