I'm kinda looking forward to it, but I'm kinda not either.

but there is family I need to see, so I'm going.

I was planning on going back to see my family this summer but then sort of decided against it. Now my dad is going to come visit me at Thanksgiving instead. I should definitely go back and see everyone next year at the latest though...

yeah, it's been about a year and a half since I was there.
and it's never good feelings when I go, but I miss a few people, so they'll make the trip worth it.

Yeah, I hear you. It's been two years since I've been home I think. It would be nice to see some people, but not so nice to see others. Part of me really wants to go but at the same time I know I'll be pretty much stranded when I do. I'll pretty much be home alone for the better part of every day since most everyone will be working... It makes for a rather boring and lonely vacation, especially when the whole point of the trip is to visit with people.

ah yeah, that's why I'm kinda glad we are going over the holiday weekend, less people working. except the one person I really want to hang out with, is working every night of the weekend.
