The year is 1932, the place the big city. Crime is running rampant as the age of Prohibition comes to an end. The Crime bosses have strong hold on many of the government offices in the city. new night clubs crop up and disappear ever week, if you pay the right people your night club will put you on easy street. Married women sleep with men not their husband's. Young men and women leave their homes to make it big in the big city. People disappear never to be seen or heard from again. Wives and husband's leave their loving homes never to be seen again. These and more are what a Privet investigator is hired to find out.

In the thick of it is Caspian Valentine, privet agent, privet detective or privet investigator which ever you want to call him, he does not care. Recently his partner of 30 years has retired, and he moved to a new city. No one knows him here and that is how he likes it. Putting out an ad in the paper he sits and waits for an answer, an answer for a man that does not know he is wanted.

Alabastor Barstor stood at his doorway in shock.
"It-It is so dark already." He says looking at the night sky. He had never really been the type to go out into the city in the dark. Being a specialist in the criminal minds; he knew that this was the time when the rougher groups were out. He carefully creeps down the side walk that led from his home and heads towards the lights of the city.

His silver hair made him stick out like a sore thumb, and he felt on edge. He was only 21, barely legal to drink, but he looked much younger. Almost like a pretty boy, he had beentold on numerous ocassions, and the roughians don't like pretty boys.

((Sorry if it sucks))

Caspian leaned against his book case in his office. the suns light still peeking over the rim of the world hurt his eyes. by now he was wearing his darkened sunglasses to protect his eyes. he had been woken by the sound of pounding and had found a young boy looking of odd jobs to do. telling the boy that he was not needed Caspian had gone back in the office. now he waited till the sun was all the way down so he could sit. it was not like all the new movies of vampires where they burst into flames with the slightest touch of the sun. no, no bursting into flames here, just a very quick sunburn and smoking.
