Daniel's and Lucinda's story is over. But what about all the other Angels, Fallen, and Nephilim? All the ones their story just by passed? Well here's your chance. Join us and tell the story behind the rest of the Fallen characters.

Reading the book is not manditory, it will only provide terms and some answers as to what has happend and why your character is where they are. We will be creating all new characters so don't worry about that either. If you have any questions fell free to ask me. I will help everyone who has not read the books. For the most part, reading the books is just a bonus.

Angels - Traditional Angels

Fallen - Angels who fell with Lucifer, whether it be by choice or they were just cast down. Most were just cast down
by the Throne. Fallen look like angels but their wings are usually a dark color of some sort

Nephilim - half Angel/Fallen half human. They take the form of a human.

~Torment~

He's always been quiet, gentle, well-knowing of his angel side. Hiding it from everyone and anyone he can. Not because he'd be punished for telling, but because he's always wanted to be normal. (not accepting anymore female Fallen! Sorry!)

Name: Azrael

Username: elizabeth_mazur

Status: Fallen

Apearence: 23

Bio: Azrael was the Archangel of Death. He sided with Lucifer at the time of The Fall, and figured it was better than staying with the Throne who forced him to watch over the humans. Azrael looks at humans as a lower race. They are of little to no use and only know destruction. Azrael has been good friends with Avril for as long as he could remember. When the Throne was away concerning itself with the humans, Avril and Azrael would sneak away and create mischif, toying with the humans. When Azrael fell he followed Lucifer to his kingdom and served as his right hand. Eventually, Azrael grew tired of the restrictions Lucifer placed uppon him. He rebbeled against him and left Lucifer's side. Azrael now resides in the human world, causing havoc wherever he goes. Being the Arch Angel of Death he enjoys watching humans pass. The Fall had changed and hardend her soal. After the fall she was seperated from her best friend, Azrael. She spent the first few milenia seaching for him, discuised as a human. Avril has always failed and along the way made quite an impression on humans such as Edgar Allen Poe and Bach. As hard as Avril trys she cant seem to stay out of trouble, whether it be her almost exposing herself, or simply causing a small war here and there. After searching for about three milenias, Avril gave up looking for Azrael and has since lived her life as a human. Avril keeps her wings sheithed within her body and rarely lets them out. He didn't care for the humans. In fact, he didn't care much for anything or anyone at all. When asked to choose a side, he chose the one that would give him the least restrictions, and that side happened to be with the Fallen. The only thing that mattered to him was his own amusement, even if it came at the expense of others.
He was among one of the few who never appeared in a human form of any type, preferring to use forms considered alien and monstrous to others. In a fatal accident, both her mother and father were killed, and despite the branch through her chest, Olive survived. For years, she tried her hardest to figure out why she survived, why her parents didn't. When she tried talking to people, they either refused to reply, or just simply changed the subject. ---------------------------------------------------------------------

Name: Thomias Keene

Username: JediMercJeff

Status: Nephilim

Age: 19 years of age

Bio: Thomias always knew he straddled between two worlds. He seemed destined to be a loner, but was always drawn to those in trouble or distress. He had an almost inhuman knack to problem-solve, or lend support to those in need... But at the same time, he always felt... Different. The snowy-greyish hair that had always been there, and the brown eyes that were almost a deep, dark red never helped matters much. But now, as he was coming of age, he was starting to feel like he was much more different than he realized. If he could only figure out how...

"One.. two.. three..." Avril counted under her breath as she took paces, her bare feet smoothing over the grass and lowerng down gracefully one after another, crushing the blades beneath them. "Four!" Smiling, Avril layed down on her back. It was nearly dark out and the stars would start to show themselves soon. "Okay, i'm ready." She said out loud to the stars that were not yet visible. Avril had made sure to walk far enough away from the town she had taken residence in as to not be conspicuous. So far Avril had done a pretty good job of living in one place for as long as possible and dissapearing just before anyone could suspect her of anything. Avri had already exposed herself far too many time. Giggling to herself, Avril recalled the look on the man's face from Greece. Avril had accidentaly been agrivated and in result, her wings tore through her flesh and burst forth. It had been both painful and blissful at the same time. It always felt wonderful to free her black wings, but the initial tearing of her flesh was always alarming and painful. No matter how many times she released her wings, Avril would never be able to get used to the feeling of it all. Avril shighed as she remember another time she had exposed herself. She had been residing in Italy and decided to fly across a sream when she thought no one was looking. To her surprise, Avril was spotted by an artist. The result had been a sculpture of Avril in a famous cemetary. "I've realy got to be more careful.." She mumbled to herself as the sky darkend. Being the Fallen Arch Angel of Love and Fertility often got her into all sorts of trouble. Even though she was no longer an Arch Angel, Avri couldn't help but get involved in those aspects of a human's life. She really had to try to stop doing that. The more she did it the closer she got to exposing herself. The starts began to come out one by one as the sky darkend into a deep purple. Watcing the sky, Avril was ripped out of her thoughts. Smiling to herself, Avril counted the number of stars in a cluster. That one was Orion's Belt. "Okay, show me where they are." Avril called to the star. It was said that if one looked hard enough, under the right constalation an Angel, Fallen, or Nelphilim would have an iridesent light encasing them. It took the full moon, and a special constilation. Avril had yet to figure out which constilation she was ment to use. But when she did she would use it to help her find Azrael. "Why do I keep doing this to myself?" She murmured as she shook her head, blades of grass getting tangled in her red hair. "I need to just stop already. He's probobly forgotten all about me. Along with all the others."

"Clear!" the paddles hit the man's chest sending tons of electricity though his body. The doctor pushed on the man's chest three times, then brought his hear to the man's lips. Still not breathing. Azrael smiled to hiself behind the sergical mast he was wearing. Today he had decided to pose as a doctor. This way he could watch human's death close up. "He's gone." Azrael anounced, forcing a saddend tone. He put his hand on the doctor's sholder. " You go ahead home. It's getting late. I'll take care of the body. He has no family to inform." He ripped off his sergical mask and tore off his rubber gloves. Running a hand through his blueish black hair Azrael opend the door for the doctor. "Oh.. okay." Once he had left Azrael went back to the body. "Don't worry, friend. What awaits you is far better. Although, I doubt anything could compare to deth." Azrael loved death. It was the most blissful sensation in all of heaven, hell, and earth. And Azrael had seen the interworkings of all three. Death was even better than the releasing of an angel's or fallen's wings. After ruling death as an Arch angel, Azrael couldn't help but be drawn to it. "Well, time to get you into your case untill the morning." Azrael walked the man's corpse to the mettal 'boxes' the hospital kept the recently deceased. In the morning the hospital would take the corpse the the mourge and realize Azrael wasn't a real doctor. But by then he would be gone. Azrael made his way throught the front doors of the office and crossed the street, entering a dark alley. He tore off his shirt and closed his eyes. Gritting his teeth, Azrael released his wings. His flesh tore where the exited his body. Azrael opend his eyes and turned his head slightly so he could see his black wings. His red blood ran down the tips if the feathers, but Azrael didn't care. He crouched down and pushed off the ground hard, shooting off fast into the night sky.

In a nearby forest, near a lovely old hospital building,a dark haired girl stood under the light of the full moon. There was a patient there that had been battling what the doctors thought was cancer for months with no improvement. Hikari knew the truth, however. The young man was battling the effects of a rogue fallen, who had seduced him and planted something evil in him.Hikari had visited and helped slowly heal the man for weeks now,and that night she was going to make the final push. With a deep breath, she released her brilliant white wings, which glowed brighter than almost any other's,and closed her eyes with the feeling of relief that followed. There under the moonlight, the young man looked out his window and smiled as he saw the light. The next morning,he would think it was a dream,a religious experience, but even as he looked Hikari's gentle light entered his soul and purged the last of the darkness.A miracle, the doctors would say, that the cancer disappeared overnight. And in one way, they were right.Hikari smiled at the man as he fell back asleep, and then took to the sky."One more lamb returned to the flock." She said.

In a clearing not far from Avril,a young woman with blood red wings stood in a fighting stance. All around her were bodies, not dead but unconcious. At least six men,all wanted convicts who had been camping nearby.Aria had stumbled upon their camp while she traveled, and as always, the men had decided that she was desirable. They teamed up on her.Six large men against one small, seemingly helpless female, they thought it would be easy. How surprised they were when her wings shot out of her back, when she started fighting in a style none of them had ever seen before. They were all down in minutes, with the semi-fallen angel standing triumphant over them. She flipped her hair back and smiled."Now.When you wake up,you'll all go running to the police, babbling about a vengeful angel who taught you the error of your ways. You'll turn yourselves in and serve your time, and if you are ever tempted to harmful deeds again, you will remember only my wings, and be repelled back to the straight and narrow." She told them in a hypnotic voice. The men would do exactly as she said, and she would move on."Well,God? Was that enough,or do I still have to prove myself?" She called up to the sky. There was,of course,no answer.Aria wanted to go back to heaven. She felt that she belonged there. At least, sometimes she did.Half the time, she would have simply killed those men. After all this time,Aria still couldn't choose between Heaven and Hell. One thing was certain, though. After the incident that changed her wings red,she had been leaning closer towards hell with each passing century. She was divided in half now, sometimes loving to do mischief and cause chaos, other times wanting nothing more than to correct the wrongs she had committed over the years. As she pondered this, she wandered onto a field and,not paying attention, tripped right over Avril."Oof! Ouch, damn!" She said as she fell on her face."What did I...oh,Avril.Didn't see you there." She said,as if tripping over another fallen was something that happened every day.

"Gah! Watch where yo-" Avril's eyes shot wide open. The girl who had tripped over her had known her name. And she had that shimery light around her. Avril had chosen the right constalation! But even greater than that, she had found another Fallen. Well more correctly, the other Fallen had trampled on her. Avril sat up. "You know my name? How did you recconize me? Where did you come from?" Avril was so surprised to see another Fallen that she couldn't stop talking. It was almost like word vomit. "Wait... Aria..?" Squinting her eyes, Avril looked at the other Fallen closer. Reccognition washed over her. "Aria!" Avril jumped to her feet. "Wait, do you know where the others are? How about Azrael? Take me to him!" Avril all but ran down the grassy hill she had been laying on, pices of grass strung throughout her long, tangled, crimson hair. Avril slipped as she ran down bare foot, the grass had been freshly watterd. But Avril didn't care. She was tempted to release her wings, but then Avril realized where they were. They were just outside her neighborhood. If Avril made one false move, she might have to move all over again. She couldn't risk that. Not so early into her 'new life'. Avril slowed down to a walk. "Aria, we have to be careful here. This is my new home for the time being. Put your wings away." Avril could feel the comanding tone in her voice. it wasn't on purpose. Avril was just so used to being an Arch Angel. She hadn't really had time to adjust, due to the fact she hadn't seen another Angel or Fallen since she was first cast down.

In her small cabin, Olive hummed softly, hearing only echoes through the woods of small insects, animals, and obnoxious campers. She ran her brush through her hair, thoughtfully staring into the mirror. Why was it she loved being awake when she was supposed to sleep? Was it the thought of rebellion that made her feel somewhat cool? Or was it she just enjoyed the peaceful air that settled when everything was asleep? Either way, the blue-eyed female slipped her moccasins on and a coat, not bothering to change from shorts to pants; the night was warm. She stepped outside and smiled, staring at the stars in the sky. "Oh, Orion's Belt!" she gasped, blue eyes sparkling. As she walked, she listened to her own footsteps, the way she kicked up leaves, or snapped twigs. She jumped and screamed loudly when a deer scurried off upon not noticing Olive's presence. The girl leaned against a tree, chest heaving as she caught her breath and calmed herself.

Alistair roamed the dark streets, face illuminated by street lights. He watched the people in their homes, some sleeping with curtains open, some awake with laptop lights shining on their faces. Reaching the end of the street, the blonde opened his multi-layered white wings, kicking off and heading into the cloudless night. He closed his eyes as he steadied himself, the cool night air sending chills down his spine. He flew over the forest, glancing down at the various females, before speeding up, hoping he wasn't caught.
That'd be great.
He'd be in deep trouble if he was caught another time.
It was difficult, not getting caught. How were they even supposed to not get caught, with these huge wings on their back? Alistair would never know. But what he did know, was that he'd rather not get caught right now.
But, wait...Were those?
Alistair turned around and caught a second glimpse, and it was her, standing outside the window of a local hospital. "Hikari?" he smiled, landing softly behind the woman, bowing with his wings still out. He hadn't seen the woman in ages, and he was thrilled to run into her.

Finx sat on the ledge of a building and watched the people wake around below her and sighed. "people are annoying." she said to herself and jumped from her seat and landed on the sidewalk without being noticed. She walked down the sidewalk and towards her small house. She frowned as she walked noticing that she had gone further then she had meant to and had walked right out of town. "Great." she mumbled to her self.

Anna unlocked the door to her moms flower shop feeling tired and bored. She had been watching over her moms shop since her mom had gotten a cold. It was really fun for a couple days but now she was bored of making banquets of flowers and smelling flowers all day long. "Good morning flowers." she said knowing flowers liked positive talk.

Marcus sighed a little as he hid down a small alleyway, he was looking out at all of the people that walked by and wished he could walk among then, but he knew that going out into public would only cause a commotion. He looked up at the sky and smiled a little. "Maybe one day I will be aloud back in." He whispered to himself, he told himself this every day to keep his hopes up and to keep himself sane. "But for now I will have to find some other angels to hang around with. After all, moping around in alleys wont make me get any friends down here." He thought as he opened his black wings and pushed off to take to the skies. "I just hope that I can find someone to talk too soon."

Azrael flew higher and higher into the night sky. The higher he flew the harder and less likely it was for a human to spot him. "Okay, Avril. One last search for the night." Ever since Azrael left his place ruling by Lucifer's side, he had dedicated his nights to searching for Avril. He knew he would find her one day. Hopefuly he would be able to recogize her in whatever form she had decided to take in this decade. Azrael knew Avril had appeared to the Egyptians. They named her Isis and called her a goddess. To them she was Goddess of life and magic and queen of goddesses. She had also appeared to the Greeks as Selene. To them she was the Titan personification of the moon. Azrael chuckled to himself. Avril had always gotten herself into trouble. And for some reason she was always seen as a goddess to the humans' past civilizations. Her wings might have given her that effect. "Oh, Avril. Why must you alway get yourself into trouble?" Azrael asked into the air. As he flew, Azrael spotted a small town. maybe he could stay there for a while. It would be a nice change from the city. It was no hell fire, but Azrael supposed it would do. Maybe they had a nice cemetary he could sleep in without being distrbed. Landing in a dark corner of the street, Azrael pulled his wings back into his body. He hated having to keep then inside. They were always burning to be released. Azreal stepped out of the darkness and walked down the street, bare chested. He had left his doctor's uniform back in the alleyway. it wasn't like he'd need it anyway. Azrael would most likely just pose in a new profession in the morning. He relished the thought of watch death.

Hikari jumped a little, surprised at being found."What? Oh, Alistair! It's been so long!" She exclaimed, running to him and hugging him."It must be a fortuitous night, for us to be in the same area at the same time.Where have you been?" She asked, beaming from ear to ear.she hadn't seen another angel or fallen or even a nephillim in ages, and it was such a wonderful feeling to talk to someone again.

Aria didn't expect to be assaulted with words, and she certainly didn't expect Avril to jump up and start running."Avril,wait-yeah,it's me.What are you talking about? You haven't found him yet? Hang on,the last time I saw you,you were being called Selene by the greeks at about the same time I was being called Helen of Troy.I thought you'd have found Azrael by now." She said, confused but putting her wings away as she was told."I haven't seen any of the others in centuries. So you're living here now?" She asked.

Avril stopped dead in her tracks, all the joy sucked out of her as Aria spoke. "I haven't seen another Angel or Fallen since The Fall.." Walking back up the hill, her bare feet feeling heavier now, Avril sighed. "I am living here for now. I move around enough so there can be no chances of me exposing myself. I've had to be much more careful than before. Da Vinci had almost spoted me a few centuries ago." Avril sat back down on the spot she had origionaly been laying down on. "I have all but given up on the search for Azrael. Honestly, i'm surprised that you're here." Looking back up at the sky Avril sighed. So much for finding Azrael. Maybe she really should just give up. He had chosen Lucifer, after all. For all she knew he was still ruling by his side, the seccond highest in command of Hell. "Stupid Orion's Belt.." Avril groand as she layed back down. "Do you think we'll ever find them, Aria? I mean, it took us a few milenia to find eachother. How much longer? I dont know if i'll be able to wait much longer.."

"Just...just make sure they're all dead and won't bother me or my family anymore! Take whatever you want!" The blabbering human said, looking everywhere except his direction. Dremnior tilted his head to the side. He had figured that the form he took on tonight hadn't been as 'scary' as usual. It was only a little skeletal, with odd protrusions coming out of the body like jagged blades, an elongated skull with no eyes, some claws, and a tail. He had taken the idea from one of those human movies, called a Xenorph or something, and he had figured that seeing something familiar would be taken less hysterically. The human, however, had appeared to be more scared than usual. Maybe this particular human was just unusually skittish. He and has his family have been harassed by hired thugs for several months, after all.

"As you wish." Dremnior gave a slight tilt of his head, his guttural, distorted voice rumbling from his throat. "I shall take care of your harassers, and in return I shall one treasured thing from your household. Expect results within a day. You will know when the price have been paid." As soon as the human squeaked his acknowledgment, the former Archangel turned and left through the door into the night, without bothering to close it. Once out of sight, Dremnior morphed back to his current preferred form, a slightly humanoid creature that stood at almost seven feet tall, wearing a well-groomed suit but faceless. His wings, previously disguised as six of the many ridges on his back as a Xenomorph - oh right that was the name, - now lay rested against his back, in the form of six long, black coils. The idea was that even if someone saw him, they'd simply mistake him to be one of those...what were they called...urban legends of the city, most popularly known as the Slenderman. The creature had became rather well-known when he was first spotted walking around like that in a dark alleyway, by a young human who had ran away screaming at the sight of him.

Stretching his wings slightly, he made his way through the alleyways, all the while tracking down the harassers of the man and his family. The simplest way would simply be killing them all. He had an idea on how to do it as well; by killing them all in a particular way so that the humans would think there's a serial killer out there. It would raise the fear and paranoia, which he could take advantage of, and it would be fun. He was looking forward to seeing the human's face as well after he'd taken his 'price', as well as the look of regret, anguish, and guilt when he finds out.

Alistair smiled brightly at the woman, hugging back. "It's been forever. I was here, upon hearing of a bit of activity. Humans have spotted some Fallen and Angels around this area, and the news has traveled fast," he sighed, pulling his wings back inside. He looked around and listened in the distance. "I've heard of a few Nephillim around here as well, although I can't seem to tell them apart from humans. Same scent, same posture. It's becoming a hassle," Alistair laughed softly and sat down, looking up at the stars for any clues-- any clues at all. He knew none would come; they never did. But he never gave up.
How blonde hair floated in the breeze, before blue eyes locked onto Hikari's. "Have you heard of anything at all?" he asked.

Hikari sat down with him and looked him in the eye.She had forgotten how blue his eyes were."No.I'm sorry,I haven't heard anything in centuries.I've been spending most of my time driving darkness from humans...the most I ever hear is the occasional sighting of a fallen, which is usually where I find the humans that need help." She told him sadly."But if fallen have been spotted here enough to bring you around, then perhaps there are more of us here than just you and I." She said, her tone hopeful.

Aria sat down next to Avril, shaking her head to clear it.She smiled."Yeah,I've had to move around alot, too." She said ruefully."DaVinci, you say? I never met him.Things have been hectic.I heard that one of the full angels was seen in Greece, being called Selene, the moon goddess, and she was also spotted in France, being called Joan of Arc.I myself have spent alot of time in Japan.During their feudal era,I went disguised as a man,and I was known as Hitokiri Battōsai, the manslayer. That was long after my wings turned red." She said, being a gossip.

Avril nodded, staring off into the distance. her mind was on Azrael and the others. "We've all been spoted in so many of the same places. How did we not find eachother before?" It was as if something had purposly kept them all apart. Avril started to zone out a little, remebering how she had basked in being a Goddess for so many different civilizations. Right around those time periods were when she had given up looking for the others. It had seemed to useless back then. She had felt helpless and foolish for ever believing she would find them. Now Avril realized how much time she had really wasted. While she was enjoying being worseped as a Goddess, she could have been out looking for her friends. Then again, it was possible she might have seen a few but just not realized. For one, Avril had been an Arch angel. Back in heaven she had rarely conversed with the lower angels. Not because she had thought she was better, only because she had never really had time. Between her looking over the humans and directing their love and firtility, and sneaking away every once in a while to create chaos with Azrael, Avril had never had a free moment. Not only that, but when the angels had Fallen they each took a different form, and had periodically changed. Avril herself had changed numerous times before. "Should we look for the others? I would be willing to give up anything to find them." Especially Azrael, she thought to herself.

Alistair took Hikari's hand in his, turning to face her. "Father told me of a Nephillim, the daughter of an angel he was close to. I can't seem to find the girl. She doesn't ... Know who she is," he sighed, shaking his head and closing his eyes. He looked back up at the stars, admiring how they twinkled and shined. "I wish to help her see who she is. So she can appreciate it, you know?" he asked, looking back into Hikari's eyes, a saddened smile stretching across his features. He sighed gently and looked away again, his hand brushing a few pieces of hair from his eyes, before he crossed his legs and continued to gaze at Hikari.

Making sure to avoid the street lights, Azrael continued along. His black hair was a mess from the flight there and he still hadn't managed to find a shirt. The white doctor's pants Azrael had 'borrowed' had a few splatters of blood here and there and Azrael thought he should changed before he was spoted by a human. Azrael knew that if a human spotted him they would either be frightend by the sight of him coverd in blood, or compleatly stunned by his beauty. Much like the Aztecs. The saw him and were overcome by this beauty and named him Xipe Totec, God of suffering and diseases. His worship required the flaying of a slave and the wearing of his skin. This was shortly after the time when Azrael had left Lucifer's side. At that time he enjoyed watching the practice of worshiping him carried out. Now, however, it made Azrael sick. He could not believe that he had once been so corupted by Lucifer. Azrael liked to think that he was now clensed of his harsh and brutal past. Death was now something he charished. It was not to be brought on forcefuly. When brought upon a human, he thought it a great honor. Instead of invoking their death, Azrael now guides humans to a safe and painfree death. He also ensures they enter the light as soon as possible. Azrael would love to believe that he was now making up for the wron he had once done. He knew that would never be the case. What was done is done. The Throne despises him now and has compleatly turned away from Azrael. Avril would probobly do the same if she knew all he had caused over the years. They had always been rebelious and troublesome together, but they had never been so brutal to the humans. Groaning, Azrael menatly shook himself in an attempt to free his mind from his own th. Noughts. Trying to foccus, Azrael ducked behind a row of houses and looked into a few windows. Peering into one, he noticed no one was inside. All the other houses he had looked into had at least one person sleeping within them. Not this one. "Perfect." Azrael said to himself as he silently carcked the window and sliped inside. He would find a shirt and a pair of pants, then he would leave, he told himself. That would be all. He couldn't risk getting caught by a human. Riffling through drawrs, Azrael couldn't find any men's clothing. He couldn't find very much clothing at all. Azrael had found a leather bound book. He picked it up and heald it in his hands, turning it over jingerly. Inscribed on the front was a list of names: Aphrodite, Xochiquetzal, Ishtar, Inanna, Ashtar, Venus, Hathor, Isis, Freya, Nügua, and ... Avril.

Aria thought for a moment, then nodded."If we're here, there's a chance that there are others. It seems like tonight is a night for reunions, don't you think?" She asked, sitting up.She was ready, eager, even,to get started. She wanted to find the others."I wonder what ever happened to Marcus.Maybe he's here, too. We can look for them together." She said.Just as she said it,she spotted a form with large wings flying overhead."Holy crap,is that...Marcus!!! Hey,down here!!!" Aria jumped to her feet and started waving her arms to catch the other fallen's attention.

Hikari tilted her head, thinking."There are a few girls in the town near here...a few of them could be candidates.I'll point them out to you,if you like." She said helpfully."Would you like to go now? I have nothing else to do tonight, and I'm a bit restless." She told him, flexing her brilliant white wings to stretch them.

It was a quiet night in this stretch of town. Very few people out and about. Thomias walked down the street, hands stuffed in the pockets of his over-sized trenchcoat, observing his surroundings with a detached gaze.

"Quiet and solitary," he mused to himself with a half-smile, "Just the way I like it."

Thomias had never really been a "people person" as such; he abhored crowds, always tried to avoid social gatherings, and didn't really kept friends. He lived like a loner, especially now that he was out from under the thumb of his parents.

Well, just the one that was left now, at least.

He'd finally scored that job about a year ago as a researcher at the university library. While he wasn't a student there, he'd shown enough persistence and stubbornness to get a realistic look. Well, that, and the promise to at least look into a class or two by the time a year had passed. Thomias wasn't sold on the idea of taking classes with other people, but realized some social contact would just be... Unavoidable. Besides, with the job came money, with the money came an apartment, and with the apartment came the chance to tell his father he was getting out of his house.

His father was a good man. Or so he'd been told. All Thomias knew is that his father rubbed him the wrong way. Always in his business, always trying to get him to open up and be a part of 'society', continually trying to push him to Church... Thomias thought of his father as tenacious, but a supreme idiot. The old man always said that he wanted to tell Thomias something when he was old enough, and tried to do so the day Thomias told him he was moving out. But Thomias never listened, never bothered. He blamed his dad for Mom leaving and his dad's "sudden descent" into the asinine.

Ahh, Mom... Thomias' smile saddened, but livened all at the same time. His mother was beautiful, even by his own admission She never seemed to grow a day older. She was kind, gentle... Had the voice born for a choir. She worked as a social worker, with a specialty in child services... The "innocents", she called them. He always thought it was because of her job that she always made time for others, and what desperately little social tendencies Thomias had, he could 'blame' on her. She had taught him the value of helping others, despite one's mindset and opinion of the other. He secretly valued her lessons whenever he seemed drawn into something that didn't involve him, but presented some seemingly impassible crisis... That he invariably helped smooth over or solve. Afterwards, especially recently, he felt an odd duality: a stinging reminder of what his mother had taught him, and an odd sense of... Duty?

His mother's words always came back to him:

"Thomias, I must go for a while... There are wrongs to be righted, and people to be helped in ways only I can... One day, I know you'll understand just what that means. But always remember that you are so much more than you might think. You are so very special, and will make great differences in this chaotic world. And no matter what may become, whatever may happen... Know that I will always love you, my sweet angel..."

That was 3 years ago now, and he'd not seen her. nor heard a word from her, since she walked out the door that day...

He'd been so wrapped up in his thoughts that he nearly ran headlong into a small crowd of people, returning from or going to some unknown destination somewhere. Thomias didn't care much, but knew his mother wouldn't want him to be rude.

"Sorry. My fault." His voice was quiet, but graceful, much like a masculine version of his mother's. He hated hearing himself talk sometimes, for the reminder of her that it was. He walked on from his near-collision, running a hand through the mop of steely hair. He glanced into a store window and slowed to a stop, catching the hint of his own reflection, brown-red eyes staring back.

Thomias often reflected on his mother's words to him those years ago, but moreso now than ever before. He always gathered he was different... But special? Was she just being a mother? Or was she really trying to tell him something? Would that explain his ability to seemingly help out in any situation, despite his shirking from others? Or maybe the shadows he kept thinking he saw on the periphery of his vision in certain places?

Thomias sighed, and slipped the clove cigarettes from his pocket. Smacking the pack lightly, he chose one at random, pursing the filtered end between his lips. He found his lighter, giving it a couple flicks before it burst to life, and lit the other end of the cigarette, taking a long, calming drag. As he exhaled, he let all of the questions and some of the stress blow away on those smoky circles. He winced as a sudden twinge of pain caught him right in the back. He grimaced, taking another drag on the cig until the pain subsided. He was damned if he was going to see a doctor about that, even though it'd been happening pretty frequently since he turned 18. It hadn't put him on the canvas yet, so why bother?

He sighed again as he took another drag.

Marcus sighed a little as he continued to soar through the air, he was beginning to wonder if there was any others that he could find or if he was destined to spend his days on the earth alone. As he was beginning to think this, he noticed someone shouting his name, which meant there must have been someone her knew when the voice came from. "I wonder..." He whispered as he looked down to see Aria, he chuckled a bit and began to descend, once he landed he began to chuckle a little. "And there I was beginning to think I was the only one here."

((It is fine. :D))

Aria's sudden outburst made Avril jump jump so highr she had nearly toppled over and rolled down the grassy hill they had been sitting on. "Aria.. shhhhh. There are humans sleeping. We can't draw any attention to ourselves. Especially in this lifetime. Humans are getting too advanced. They'll want to investigate rather than just gawk at us like before." Avril was so bussy lecturing Aria in a hushed tone that she baraly registerd what she had said. It was her Arch behaviors coming out again. Avril was just so customed to being an athoritive figure. She was, after all, the Throne's right hand.

Snapping herself out of her mental rambling, Avril looked up, following Aria's finger. "Marcus? Wha.." Avril jumped to her feet. "Marcus!" Now Avril was the one being too loud.

Avril ran up to Marcus as soon as he touched down, her bare feet almost sliping on the damp grass. As soon as Avril reached Marcus she wraped him in a huge hug. "Marcus!" Avril was so excited that her wings shot through her back with an ear splitting crackling and ripping a noise as they tore through her flesh fast and mercilessly. The soft blackish red feathers surounded her almost like a picture frame. Avril's feathers brushed against Marcus's unintentionaly.

She promptly stepped back, allowing Aria a chance to hug him, all the while beaming up at him. "How? Oh! We need to go to my house right away! It's just down this hill an-"

Avril began walking down the hill and was stoped dead in her tracks when she saw the lights in her house on. "What!?" She took off running, her bare feet only touched the ground a few times before her wings took over. Avril soared down to the street and landed silently, just a few houses away.

Azrael stared wide-eyed at the book. The names.. they were all Avril's names throughout history.

"Avril.." he whisperd. Azrael raised his head to look arounf the small, one roomed appartment. "Then this is.. It can't be.." He shook his head. There was no use in getting his hopes up. But then again, he did have Avril's book. Right there. In his very own hands.

Normaly Azrael would never intrude in Avril's private writings, but he just had to see for himself. Maybe by reading it, he would somehow prove to himslef that this was all really happening.

Azrael's fingers trembled as he cracked open the book slowly.

Aria ran forward and took her turn hugging Marcus."I can't believe it,first Avril and then you-oh it's been so long!Where have you been? how are you? Where are you staying?" She fired her questions off like arrows, fast and relentless. Before her questions could be answered, however,Avril took off down the hill.Aria looked at Marcus and smiled mischievously."I bet I can catch up with her faster than you can." She challenged.

Marcus chuckled a bit as he hugged the two back as they took their turns, he folded up his wings and smiled at the two of them as they spoke, he was happy that he had finally found others like him. He saw Avril taking off down the hill like the wind and chuckled again before looking back to Aria. "I guess we should try and catch up with he." He said before grinning a bit. "It has been a while since I have been challenged to a race." He said as he suddenly took off running before he jumped a little and let his wings carry him down towards Avril. "Try to keep up." He called back to Aria while poking his tongue out at her.

Avril threw open the door to her house, her black wings still clearly visible and her hair a messy mop of red. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY H-" Avril's furious tone cut off and subsided. Standing before her was a huge male figure with stormy dark blue eyes, and hair black as night. His build was muscular and fit. The wings attatched to his strong back protruded out like two huge storm clouds almost the exact same color as his eyes.

"Azrael? Is that really you?"
She said as she took a few slow steps towards him. Avril's attention was immideately drawn to his hands. He was holding her book. The one with all of her past names inscribed on it. "You're here?" Avril couldn't move any further. Suddenly, Avril realized that Azrael wasn't the Angel she used to know. He had chosen Lucifer, and by extent had left her. He may have righted some of his wrongs, but she hadn't seen him since the Fall. For all she knew, he could still be with Lucifer.

_________________________________

Azrael's eyes shot from the book to the doorway. There were three Fallen standing there looking furious. Azrael reccognized Aria and Marcus, even in their new forms. Certain features in their faces and body structure had remained the same throughout their new forms.

The Fallen in the front, however, Azrael couldn't place a name to her face. Whoever she was, she was breath-takingly beautiful. She had long red hair that was ablaze at the moment with anger. Her wings were jet black like a raven's, save for a few red fethers here and there, and her eyes were a deep grey. Wait! Thoses eyes! He would know them anywhere, it was Avril.

Azrael's hands lost their grip on Avril's books when she began to take a few step towards him. "Yes, Avril. It's me." He said, holding back a smile. Azrael preferd to keep his hard demenior.

Caught slightly off guard by Avril's sudden gain of composure, Azrael shifted his attention towards the other two. "Aria! Goddess of the moon." He said as he nelt down and bowed his head. When he raised his head, he had a small smile played across his lips. As he stood her picked her up in a hug. Steeing her down on the floor he turned to Marcus and clapped him on the back. "How are you two?"
