~General Role Play Information~

This is a Harry Potter Roleplay Set after the seventh book and set in a school for witchcraft and wizardry created by me. Due to the plot not involving Voldermort or cannon characters you really don’t have to know hardly anything about Harry potter. All you have to know is first years are 11, second years 12, and so on as well as that in harry potter all magic requires a 'focus object' to actually do anything (generally a wand in european magic or rune/totem in the shamanism). In fact to join you only have to follow three simple steps and three rules.

~Steps~

1. Read the first three posts after this one and the post that describes your dorm. You are not required to read the posts about the other dorms, though you are welcome too if you want to. If you don’t understand anything in it, feel free to ask me questions via pm. As long as you attempt to readand understand first I’m happy ^.^

2. After reading everything, send me the following about your character via pm. It will be organized and put into a lower post so others can see if yours is in the same year or house. ^.^

~Wisteria, School of the Southwest~

Welcome to the beautiful Wisteria, A School of Witch Craft and Wizardry. The founder, Elizabeth Phlox, was a lover of flowers and named the school Wisteria after a flower which meaning is 'welcome' . She so named the school because she desired everyone in the world to be welcome at this school, for it to be a safe place of harmony and freedom for anyone from any nation or background.

She founded the school in the early 1900s, when on a journey to find and protect the knowledge of Native American Shaman magic which was being threatened by early settlers of the Americas. The ruins and it's secrets grabbed her attention when she realized her squib guide could not see them. To any muggle or squib it looked like a solid rock mountain face, nothing special about it. To a wizard or witch the golden ruins were clear.Researching the ruins she would find they were said to be from the local Pueblo Indians ancient ancestors and that was all anyone knew about them or the strange magic within.

She originally meant to simply store knowledge but as her death grew closer she realized to truly protect the knowledge she needed to share it with others. So she found the school which you now find yourself invited to in 1916. At first it had only a few children of the settlers, immigrants, and Native Americans but over the years it grew. It is now a rival to even the esteemed Hogwarts in number of students and accomplished alumni wizards as well as witches. It seemed peaceful, wonderful but as always conflict seemed attracted to the ruins like a moth to flame.

~Discoveries of the Southwest~

Shamans of the Southwest classes primarily consist of Native American and obscure south american culture's magic. It tends to rely on wooden totems, animal totems, and crystals instead of wands but still requires a focus object just like european magic in the HP universe. Runes can be carved and used on any surface but require either a special stone/crystal or calling on one's animal totem (via a stone, wood, crystal, or actual animal representation). When using European runes a wand is required, similar to potions.

The main difference between the Shaman magic and European magic is the reliance on meditation and spirit animals over the latin language and potions. Shaman magic also has certain meditations taught to allow the user to heal themselves of minor injuries/illnesses and the like instead of potions. It is a highly advanced art generally taught to fifth years and over due to it's complexity and the danger of actually hurting one's self instead of healing. Vision quest classes related to finding one's spirit animal are available from the first year however.

Shaman Classes include the following:

Vision Quest Practice and Theory (1-5): This course is to teach one to meditate and find the still, magical world within one's self. It also teaches the theories behind this and how to focus that energy to find one's spirit animal and in higher levels of the course heal oneself.

You and Your Guide (1-3): This course is first to teach one how to speak to one's spirit animal and then how to understand and control real life versions of the animal as well as summon it to one's aid. In the highest lesson of the course one is taught how to become that animal. The highest course, You and Your Guide 3, is only available in one's seventh year as an elective and requires registering as an animagus with the ministry should you succeed.

Secrets, Stones, and Crystals(1-4): This course is to teach one how to use a crystal instead of a wand as well as how to shape and use stones as well as rune stones to preform magic.

Mystic Wood Carving (1-4): This course is to teach one how to focus one's magic through ordinary wood as well as to carve wood totems and make it hold a part of one's magic. The first course is simple carving and then moves up from there.

Jewelry Making (1-4): This course is designed to teach how to make ancient native american jewelry as well as place magic and charms particular to their culture on the jewelry as well as how to use what materials one uses to strengthen that jewelry. To take this course one must have at least one corse of Secrets, Stones, and Crystals, as well as one of Mystic Wood Carving.

The other magic courses taught are as follows, though with occasional expansions into shamanistic viewpoints on the subject:
Transfiguration, Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Potions, History of Magic, Herbology, Astronomy, Study of Ancient Runes, Care of Magical Creatures, Muggle Studies, Flying, Alchemy, Divination.
* Apparition is an optional class for those in the sixth and seventh year.

~Psychics ~

While most Europeans are aware of parsaltongue and Divination Phlox gathered much more information on the various abilities. She divided them in two categories, Major and Minor, and found no human mind was capable of holding more then one major ability without the person going mad.

Major

Automatic writing - Writing produced without conscious thought.

Clairvoyance, second sight - Perception outside the known human senses,

Precognition, premonition and precognitive dreams - Perception of events before they happen

Remote viewing - Gathering of information at a distance.

Retrocognition - Perception of past events.

Scrying - Use of an item to view events at a distance or in the future.

Metamorphmagus – a wizard who is able to change their appearance with a thought.

Minor

Aura reading - Perception of the energy fields surrounding people, places, and things.

*tongue – Ability to speak to a particuliar 'family' of animals, Parseltongue is merely one of the many available. The * is simply a place holder. For example someone who can talk to all cats is a 'feliltongue'.

~Inside Wisteria and Mount Sierra~

*this is the main entrance, more of the building exists but is carved inside the mountain itself and is not visible from the outside. The numbered areas are as follows:
1. Entrance Hall (Left)(indicates west)
2. Roof is the Landing Pad/Lanch pad for the pegasi, ((only place in the entire school one can appearate to is the roof))
3. Entrance Hall Center( two story tall, Teachers sit in the 'balcony' on the second level)(indicates north)
4. Enchanted Tower ( To enter the school one must walk through it. If you do not carry a letter of acceptance or other item to show you have the current Head Master's approval the tower will become a solid column of stone until the head master lets you out.) (indicates south)
5. Entrance hall (right)(indicates east)

The building is massive, most of it hidden inside the mountain Sierra itself. The school can only be reached by the appearating or the schools prized Granian pegusi as it is thousands of feet above the base of the sharp cliff face. The winged horses used to enter it are said to be descended from Pegusi that Madame Phlox herself breed and that somewhere down the line they have Thestral blood due to their ability to turn themselves and their rider invisible. It is generally accepted, however, that Madame Phlox simply used magic on the original breeding pairs to give them this ability.

The inside of the school is laid out fairly simply, everything reachable through doors in the entrance hall. The first thing you will notice, however, is that every inside wall of the ruin is covered in many flowers and vines with blooms of every kind you can imagine…including ones that don’t belong on any vine and a few that don’t exist outside of Wisteria. The second is that the entrance hall is a large room with three doors, including the one you enter through, a set of double doors, and two trap doors.

It is this set of double doors that leads to the areas of Wisteria shared by all students. They are located under the teachers ‘balconies’ and are at the very back north wall of the Entrance Hall. When you walk through them you will find several long corridors and stone stairs carved into the mountain. These corridors lead to the various classrooms in which you will be learning both classic European magic such as you would learn at Hogwarts as well as shaman magic and other unusual forms.

If you are brave enough, curious enough, or just plain bored enough you can continue past the classroom corridor all the way to another system of tunnels. These lead to large, spectacular caves of both manmade and natural origin. Here you will find gardens and underground forests planted by madam Phlox’s magic and supported by the Phoenix spirit’s light acting as sunlight. There is even a few cave’s with small lakes fed by the Dragon spirit’s power over water. There are even rumors of big stone caves filled with Indian treasure! Still, this is a school so perhaps we should get back to that and where you will be sleeping.

~Reaching the Dorms~

So now, we will direct you to the dorms which can be found through the other doors, each of which can only be entered after you have been sorted into them and given the pin which shows you belong in that particular dorm. On the West most wall of the left wing of the entrance hall you find a door with the mark of the gentle unicorn upon it. This door leads to the Gerani dorm and the sanctuary of its guardian spirit. On the East most wall of the right wing of the entrance hall you will find a similar door with the mark of the honorable dragon, this one leads to the Laure dorm as well as the hidden Quartz Lake which provides water for the school. The dragon happens to live in the lake.

To find the two remaining dorms you must go to the north-west corner of the entrance hall, here you doubtless notice that there is what appears to be a trap door in the roof and in the floor. The door in the ceiling is only accessible by a spell even with a Clemati pin, which will cause the door to open and the stone stairs to form leading up to it. This leads to the Clemati dorm, home of the wise phoenix. It is comprised of a large tower that extends all the way to the mountain and the dorm itself. At the top of the tower is where you find the guardian spirit itself.

The door on the floor of the entrance hall leads to the Rudbecki dorm and the gate to the sanctuary of the brave Hellhound spirit. It is a dorm completely surrounded by stone. Through the sanctuary of the hellhound is another trap door however. This leads to a long winding tunnel that leads to the stables as the Hellhound guards the horses.

~Finding your Place in Wisteria~

When Madam Phlox first transformed the ruins into the school Wisteria, she summoned four spirits of powerful magical animals to allow the school to sustain life and protect it from those who would seek to destroy it. Each spirit valued four human traits above all others and demanded that the students they worked with to maintain the school have those traits or desire to have those traits above all. She agreed and created a test that would ‘read’ the hearts of each first year and assign them to the care of the spirit.

The test is simple and happens on the first day. All first years are lined up on one of the two front staircases, the right stair case, that leads to the teacher’s ‘balcony’ in the entrance hall. Each student is asked to approach, one by one, to the middle of the table where the current head master or mistress sits. In front of the head master floats four mystical metal and gemstone flowers. The float in a circle for a few moments and then one will leave the circle and float at the edge of the table nearest the student. It will then drop a metal pin with the spirit animal of their house and announce which house they are in with a loud ringing voice. The student is then allowed to sit at the table with the rest of their house and eat, drink, and be merry!

If you are best described as containing or valuing ‘Creativity, Individuality, Wisdom, or Cleverness’ the white pearl and gold flower will approach you. It will give you a white pearl pin shaped like a phoenix decorated and gilded in gold before pronouncing you a Clemati!

If you are best described as containing or valuing ‘Ambition, Pride, Tradition, or Personal Honor/Personal Achievements’ the emerald and pale sapphire flower will approach you. It will give you an emerald pin shaped like a dragon, gilded in a strange blue metal, and decorated with light blue sapphires before pronouncing you a Laure!

If you are best described as containing or valuing ‘Bravery, Boldness, Strength, Willpower’ the black iron and ruby flower will approach you. It will give you a black iron pin shaped like a wolf like hound and gilded in a strange red metal, and decorated with rubies before pronouncing you a Rubecki!

If you are best described as containing or valuing ‘Trustworthiness, loyalty, Friendliness, Fairness’ the silver and pale amethyst flower will approach you. It will give you a silver pin shaped like a unicorn and gilded in a strange purple metal, and decorated in pale amethysts before pronouncing you a Gerani!

~Your Uniform in Wisteria~

Your uniforms are determined by house and show below. Before entering school you should have purchased a generic uniform which your house pin is enchanted to react to and release a spell that will change the patterned parts to the proper pattern the first time you put your pin on...even if you are not currently wearing your uniform it will change the uniforms you brought with you. It will not affect clothing other then your uniforms.

*Note, a black hat must be worn. It can be a traditional wizard cap or a muggle cap, this is left to the student choice. Socks and shoes are also the students choice. Any other accessories are not required but can be added to the student's heart's content. Note, the pants ARE NOT suppose to be poofy like that. Rendering error... they are suppose to be standard, sleek, uniform pants.

~The Clemati Of Wisteria~

As you enter the dorm through the Entrance Hall ceiling hatch there is a beautiful phoenix. It is white with golden eyes, a gold crest, and gold markings throughout its long tail. It looks you over quizzically with its head tilted to the side before it gives you an approving nod. You hear words, its words, echo in your head. It says Welcome, I am the guardian of Clemati and the keeper of Wisteria’s fires. Here, this will tell you all you need to know about our house. A pure white flame appears in front of you and flares to life, only to disappear… it drops a sheet of paper at your feet. On the sheet it does indeed say all you could ever want to know about clemati. It is written in the intellectual, long winded, yet mischievous style of Flamma the apparent Phoenix but could be summarized as follows.

House Name: Clemati

Name Origin: From Clematis, a white flower which stands for ingenuity and mental beauty

Nickname: Feathers, Phoenixes, Wings.

Values: Creativity, Individuality, Wisdom, Cleverness

Colors: White and Gold

Element Symbol: Fire

Weapon Symbol: Bow

Animal Symbol: Phoenix

Guardian Spirit: Flammia, an ancient fire spirit who chooses to take the form of a phoenix. She claims in the letter that phoenix’s comes from one of her experiments with fire and the egg of a peacock. Older students will warn you, however, that Flamma is mischievous and likes to test her students…. Sometimes by making blatantly false statements to see if the student is smart enough to figure out it’s a lie. Accordingly the truth of this statement is not easy to tell.

Duties: As a clemati you will learn some fire spell tricks, including ones that involve more than one witch or wizard to do. Prefects are also taught to use a bow and combine it with magic. You will perform these skills in shows and inter-house competitions if you are on the House team, a place earned by showing particular skill.

Dorm location: the three large rooms at the base of Fire Tower and over the Entrance Hall.

Dorm Style: The dorm is divided into four sections, the fire tower itself, the common room, and two dorms separated by gender. The tower stands in the center of the three other rooms and extends far enough the top cannot be seen from the bottom. Each of the other rooms can be entered from a sturdy dark mahogany door. The door to the left of you upon entering is the entrance to the boys dorm and is marked by the astrological symbol for mars. In front of you is the door to the common room and is marked by the astrological symbol for earth. To your right is the girls dorm and is marked by the astrological symbol for Venus. The walls of all four areas are a pale gold and dotted with clematis flowers growing directly from the wall.

The furniture is all white fabric (enchanted not to stain) and golden chests in a slightly arabian, elegant fashion. The only difference between the furniture in the boys room, common room, and the girls dorm is the girls dorm furniture has a slightly feminine flowering gold pattern on it while the others have a more neutral simple, single gold square design. All the furniture is plush, comfortable and elegant. From the ceiling and walls hangs many silk, semi-transparent fabrics of white or gold giving the area a very free, airy feel when combined with the dorms high ceilings and the soft breezes coming down from the tower which is open to the mountain top.

Dorm Atmosphere: The dorm tends to be filled with studying students and quiet, philosophical discussions between small groups of the less shy Clemati. As often happens with such intellectual people, however, there are occasional arguments though they don’t tend to affect the independent souls for long. Due to this dorm often having a few artists it is not unusual to find a student painting up in fire tower, the top of which has quite a view.

~The Laure Of Wisteria~

As you enter the spectacular Laure dorm you will feel a slight chill from the lake you now face. A large sea dragon, however, will likely distract you from the beautiful bridge across the lake and the crystal formation that looks much like a European castle. He sits with most of his body curled in the massive lake but his upper body and front arms are spread lazily on the shore. He is close enough to the bridge you need to cross to knock you over with his massive, majestic head if he so pleases. He faces his lips towards the far wall and breathes out an icy blast which leaves a sheet of paper hovering there that quickly floats down to you. The letter contains all the information you could want to know about the Laure House. In his graceful telepathic voice he bids you welcome but in those few simple words you get the impression that great things are expected of you…

Guardian Spirit: Undine, a water spirit who has the power over water. He seems to be very ‘princely’ somehow and demand respect while still being polite. You get the impression he could charm anyone he pleases if he wants to but he tends to be too honorable and straight forward.

Duties: As a laure you will learn some water and ice spell tricks, including ones that involve more than one witch or wizard to do. Prefects are also taught to use a staff and combine it with magic. You will perform these skills in shows and inter-house competitions if you are on the House team, a place earned by showing particular skill.

Dorm location: Across the Quartz lake in the ‘Crystal Castle’

Dorm Style: When you first enter through the dorm door you will see a vast lake nicknamed ‘Quarts Lake’ due to the high amount of quarts in the cave that holds the lake and the actual dorm which is called the ‘Crystal Castle’. It is made of quarts but the stone is so pure, so clear that it looks more like diamond. It catches the light so that it almost seems to glow. To get to the castle from across the lake you must cross a delicate bridge covered with green vines and the pale blue mountain laurels which give the House its name.

Crossing the bridge you are now able to enter the crystal castle and actual dorm. It is divided into three sections, two dorms and a common room. There is a door to the left of the entrance has a large blue stone above the frame, this is the boys dorm. Across from the entrance is a door with a large green stone above it, this is the common room. To the right of the entrance is another door marked with a large purple gemstone, this is the girls dorm. The floors are covered with an emerald green carpet that feels like soft meadow grass and keeps the chill of the crystal from getting too cold despite being so close to a lake. The furniture is slightly Victorian in style, as is the classic castle design. Each piece is made with care and is a combination of rich greens and pale blue velvets.

Dorm Atmosphere: It is true that the rich and powerful often end up in this house so as one expects many of the students know each other as well as the family reputations of their parents. Still, even though there is a stuck up student or too one who relies on their family’s reputation is in general not too well respected. The most well respected of the students are the ones with the highest personal achievements who have proven they are not just riding on their parents coat tails. There is a competitive air to the students but once you have proven yourself you will be treated with celebration and respect.

~The Rudbecki Of Wisteria~

As you enter the darkened dorm you see what looks like two glowing red eyes nearby. When the creature they belong too moves it is clear it is what appears to be a massive wolf with wild, untamed looking fur. He growls out one word, ‘here’ and picks up a stone from a basket next to him. He tosses the stone to you and once it hits your hand it transforms into a piece of paper. What is written on the paper is a straightforward letter that says the following just about as bluntly as possible.

Nickname: Hounds, Hellions, fangs

Values: Bravery, Boldness, Strength, Willpower

Colors: Black and Red

Element Symbol: Stone, Earth, And Rock

Animal Symbol: Hell Hound and Wolves

Guardian Spirit: Frux, a spirit from the very depths of earth. He chooses the form of a form of hellhond. It looks very similar to a large black wolf as big as a horse with glowing red eyes that appear made of fire. His fangs are as large as ones hands.

Duties: As a Rudbecki you will learn some earth spell tricks, including ones that involve more than one witch or wizard to do. Prefects are also taught to use a sword and combine it with magic. You will perform these skills in shows and inter-house competitions if you are on the House team, a place earned by showing particular skill.

Dorm location: In the very depths of the school complex beneath everything else. It is the warmest part of the complex.

Dorm Style: When you step off the ladder into Rudbecki dorm you will notice that most of this area is not made of the quarts or golden hard stone that makes up most of the school but is in fact made up of primarily black, glass like, lava rock. There are also several pillars with stone bowls on top of them that hold bright fires. The fires reflect off the glass like rock and create moving shadows that give the entire dorm a rather eerie, almost haunted, air.

To your left is a crude, wrought iron gate with sharp points at the top surrounding a tunnel entrance and a massive red velvet pillow with a couple black hairs on it from a massive beast. The gates are always flung open few are foolish enough to enter without the residents permission. This is the home of the Redbecki’s resident hell hound. Across from you is two buildings, a third to your right. The buildings from left to right are, the boys dorm, the common room, and the girls dorm respectively.

Each of the buildings is made from the lava rock and appears similar to the pueblo style of the school itself. Inside you will find very simple furniture that appears a combination of rustic woods and red wool fabric. Despite how they look, however, every chair and bed is remarkably very comfortable. It has few decorations and is all in all very unassuming.

Dorm Atmosphere: There’s always a few show offs around whom feel the need to show off their bravery and strength but there doesn’t tend to be too many… and when there are there’s always an older student willing to put the braggart in his or her place. Rudbecki tend to be the most varied in their backgrounds, however, so sometimes people aren’t quite sure how to react to one another so people have a habit of separating into like-minded groups.

~The Gerani Of Wisteria~

As you enter you find yourself face to face with a beautiful unicorn. It has pale silver fur, a dark mystical silver mane with a matching tail, and eyes of pale lavender. Her gaze is gentle, almost loving. ‘greetings’ she says, ‘this letter should tell you all you could want to know about the Gerani. Welcome to your new house, I hope we can be like your family while you are at school with us!’ As she speaks to you through the very air the tip of her horn glows. A gentle breeze swirls around you and a sheet of paper appears before your eyes before falling towards your hand. The information inside her kind polite letter can be reduced to this.

Nickname: Uni’s, unicorns

Values: Trustworthiness, loyalty, Friendliness, Fairness

Colors: Silver and Pale purple

Animal Symbol: Unicorns and Pegusi

Guardian Spirit: Aeris, an air elemental spirit who chooses the form of the gentle innocent unicorns she admires. She seems like a playful, kind, gentle, youthful grandmother who wants to protect all her students and help in any way she can.

Duties: As a Gerani you will learn some air spell tricks, including ones that involve more than one witch or wizard to do. Prefects are also taught to use a bladed shield weapon and combine it with magic. You will perform these skills in shows and inter-house competitions if you are on the House team, a place earned by showing particular skill.

Dorm location: The trees of Unicorn Meadow.

Dorm Style: As you walk into the dorm you will notice that the inside of the cave is covered with long grasses and many flowers. There are also three large, thick trees that grow all the way to the ceiling and seem to grow into the walls themselves. The ceiling is enchanted to look like a sunny sky and instead of using ladders to get into the three buildings contained In the trees you simply stand in an enchanted circle of flowers. Once you do so a gentle wind will lift you onto the rope bridges that connect all three buildings in a little ‘tree village’. A soft breeze moves through the forest cave at all times.

The left most building is the boy’s dorm and is connected to the next tree. This next tree contains the common room building and is connected to the last tree which contains the building that is the girl’s dorm. The buildings are simple and made of wood. Instead of beds they have hammocks enchanted to keep you from falling out. The rest of the furniture is also mostly cloth except for storage containers and such which are made of wood and vines. They appear to have the strength of iron but the softness of velvet. Everything is decorated in silvers, pale purples, and other pastel colors.

Dorm Atmosphere: the dorm is the most peaceful and friendly, soothed by the gentle voice of Aeris. Most everyone gets along and most of the older students will help the younger ones. You will rarely hear a raised voice or angry word in this dorm and everyone is accepted!

~Wisteria is Open!~

~The First Day At Wisteria~

This is the first day of the introductory week at Wisteria. Classes are not required though those on the House teams are required to meet for practices. At the moment, however, it is lunch so no one has to worry about anything but enjoying the meal! Refreshing, sweetened cactus juice is one of the favored drinks but tea, soda, and various other kinds of juices are provided for the students choosing. There is also just about any food provided.

Most students sit at the table but a handful of students mill around. Most Prefects walk between the tables once they finish with their own meals as do a few teachers, all to make sure no underhanded jokes or fights are going on. They seem to be wasting the effort, however, as the general feeling of the room is peaceful. All in all most people are content at the moment, laughing and joking at their house tables and in general getting to meet each other. The sorting ceremony was just finished moments prior.

((My first in character post will follow soon as I can but people are welcome to post at any time. This was simply to set the scene and mood))

Sonya Peters

The white haired prefect was easy to spot among the crowd as she stepped through various groups with that same icy expression she always wore. She was tall and a true russian beauty, if only her blood didn't seem as cold as the snow of her country of origin maybe she might have even been well liked. As she was, however, some admired her but most were just plain scared. She didn't mind it, not really even if she felt occasionally lonely.

She had been taken in by a great wizard and he would not let her forget the power of his name. Still, with her intellect it was easy to achieve the marks he expected and he left her to her true passions so it was not so much a burden the young woman struggled with it. Not that she would admit it if she had, mind you. No, Bury your feelings and move on. That was Sonya's mantra and her stubborn determination to live up to.

She passed a few first years and soon had them silenced, ignoring one's comment about her having bleached her hair to look intimidating. She simply gazed at him with those unflinching gold eyes and he glanced away. As she turned her back she heard the term 'ice queen' muttered as it had so many times before and the corner of her mouth twitched as if she wanted to smile but somehow just couldn't quite manage it. She returned to her seat at the clemanti table then and began to eat in small dainty gestures without any particular
care or notice of anyone else.

Belinda 'Bella' Carmen

Bella was a small little thing, dressed in her casual wear as most were on the first day...... though of course casual had a slightly different meaning for the dark haired teen. She was dressed in a black, green, and blue lolita gown of her own creation with all the accessories one might expect including a small top hat set in her hair. It highlighted her pale skin, making it seem even paler and making her look almost dead to glance at. Knowing Bella this was probably the exact desired effect, as it only added to the startling quality of her eyes when focused on the various first years coming to the Lauri table.

She smiled at one, but there was a mischief in it that quickly set the mind to some sort of prank or sordid experiment. She only turned back to her book, however, and laughed as if she found something funny. It was a light, tinkling sound that matched her rather doll like appearance and motions. It should have been refreshing but those who had heard it before during an experiment gone wrong or particularly grisly lecture shivered at the memory.

She was a strange little child and didn't seem to really speak very much. No she kept herself apart and just......watched. What she was watching for, one never really knew and that was always what bothered people. There were even some rumors that she was a vampire of some kind, or conducted blood experiments and was just waiting for you to cut yourself or fall. Still she was never caught doing anything illegal.....precisely.

Aisling 'Ash' Cinaed

The Rudbecki teen tossed her vivid locks of blood red hair, wearing a rather attractive but simple little outfit likely designed by her aunt. As always it showed her legs, something many blamed on her aunt but the little flirt just enjoyed it. She was perfectly unabashed in who she was, even flirting with teachers now and then. She didn't seem to mind the occasional slutty rumor, if anything it just made her flirting more effective so it suited her just fine. She just liked making people smile really.

"I love that blouse, It suits your curves so well" She said suggestively to one of her fellow students, giving her a wink. Her flirting was not bound by gender anymore then it was age and when the other girl turned pink it simply made Ash smile. She reached over and patted the girls hand as if to say 'it's alright, i mean no harm' and turned back to her meal. As she took a swig of her glass of cactus juice she glanced around for any cute new students.

She did have her limits, no one younger then her, but transfer students were not uncommon at Wisteria. Many preferred to send their students elsewhere for the 'basics' then send them here for a different education to get the best of both the traditional and the more varied things that Wisteria had to offer. Ash most certainly didn't mind....

Nimarda "Mara" Arminius

Mara sat quietly at the Gerani table, rubbing her hands as she often did. They still hurt her now and then, phantom twinges no one could quite explain. Some believed it was mental and only Mara herself could heal it but she wasn't so sure she bought that. Then again it was always hard for Mara to trust people... animals were so much simpler.

She smiled faintly at the thought and soon sneaked a few bits of food from her plate to the pockets of her hoodie. It wasn't for her sake of course, no, it was for the rat sitting in each pocket. As the crumbs hit their heads they would wake in almost unison and begin to eat them, one stretching out it's white paw and yawning though the digit was quickly hidden in its pocket once more. Mara suppressed a smile as she glanced around to see if anyone had seen.

She didn't seem to get in trouble really, it was just expected to find her around animals. Still it was a habit gained when she was younger and the rats at the orphanage had been her friends. The people there didn't like it much either but people were happy she reached out to something. It was a good sign they said, of the gentle but rather rough around the edges soul.

"Kiah.....don't worry. We will figure this out. Maybe it is just temporary." Arius whispered to his twin off in a corner of the dinning hall, keeping an eye out for anyone who may be listening in on their conversation. Which it soon died down when Sonya walked by them, he watched her for a few moments before he turned his attention back towards his twin sister. He sighed slightly as he tucked a strand of loss blonde hair back behind her ear before leading over to a table to sit down and eat. Sure he had friends in his house and out of it, even out side of his sister but to her, he was the only thing that she had left. He made sure that was plenty of food one her plate, more veggies then anything as she was feeding them to the hidden rabbit that was with in her shirt.

Kiah looked at the floor, she was worried and concerned, something new and strange was happening to her. She flinched slightly at her twins hushed words before she finally looked up at him, biting her lip before words began to spill from her mouth. She was truly scared for the first time in a long time, the silent female knew that the blonde/blue haired male could tell that she was scared. It was clear by his actions that he was trying to protect her, to care for her like he has done since they were 6. She finally sat down and watched as he basically babied her, though it did not bother her one bit as she ate her food slowly, sneaking carrots to the bunny with in her shirt.

Aisling 'Ash' Cinaed

Ash glanced towards the two who had seated themselves at the Rudbecki table, absently wondering why only one belonged here. She didn't mind really, and ignored those who began to wonder about it. Gerani... A sister perhaps? They looked enough alike to be twins. She skipped up easily and headed towards the two. Her arms snaked around the shoulders of each as she leaned in and gave each to her. Being herself the words that came from her lips were hardly unexpected.

"Twins, always a delicious dream. So what are you two beauties talking about?" She flirted easily, giving each a warm smile. Her pale sky blue eyes appeared to twinkle slightly with amusement, her gaze not leaving them. When she glanced at Kiah there was briefly genuine concern crossing her features. One could not look at the small woman and not see how scared she looked of ........well..... everything. It was always easy to spot those... she kept her eye open for them. Rudbecki's always had a few first years who made their way for them, trying to prove how tough they were and how they deserved the name. A quick crack to the head or two and they tended to figure out that wasn't what strength was about though...

Arius jerked at an arm being put around him, it made him automatically stand up, pulling his sister with him, away from the female as he narrowed his eyes at her. "Twins are not a delicious dream. As for what we were talking is none ones business but our own." he said to her in a protective manner before he let his twin sit back down to continue to eat. He stuck closer to his twin, not letting the flirty female get to close to his sister or let her intimidate her. He watched the female closely as he finally took his seat once more as he begin to slowly to eat his food once more. Why have you come over here? he said to her, the toy husky next to him was growling slightly, letting the female know that no harm was going to the twins. "Odin....sit." Arius said to the canine as he made a motion with his hand, watching as his companion animal did as he said.

Aisling 'Ash' Cinaed

"Hey they are for only children" Ash said teasingly, suggesting a non sexual meaning for her joke at random. She glanced at the dog absently, it wasn't unusual for other animals then her own chihuahua pup to feel awkward with her. Something about her metamorphmagus abilities seemed to make her scent strange. It use to hurt her feelings but the bubbly young woman had soon decided it didn't matter. Those who bothered to get to know her liked her so that was good enough. That was just her nature though really, to always look at the bright side. She then glanced back to the boy and gave him a warm smile as well as a shrug.

"As to that, I'm on the Rudbecki team so it's my job to watch for frowning at the table and do something about it." She stated perfectly seriously. It was the truth but right now the boy looked at her like she was poison so she doubted he would believe her. She was use to random varied reactions, however, so just stopped flirting when it bothered people. It was about making people smile, not hurting them, or even having sex with them really.... not that many understood that.

Arius stared at her with a serious look on his face as he handed some meat over to the dog that was still growling at Ash, though he was not attacking or anything, just letting her know what he thought was all. Personally he was not amused, though if his twin was not there he would have been laughing and joking back but she was there and vunerable about what was happening to her. The thought of it all caused him to look at his twin, only to see that she was scribbling in a notebook, a touch of sadness was on his face as he streatched a hand out and stroked her hair. "Well fellow Rudbecki, somethings you should just leave alone. I am Arius and this is my twin sister Kaih." he said to her as he motioned to his sister, smiling at her weakly before looking up at the female with a serious face once more.

Kiah listened to her brother being cold to the female that was only concerned for them, she gave a weak smile before she had pulled a quill and notebook out so as to write, but it wasn't because she had anything praticular to say it was more like she just had to write, something was making her write. When she had finally stopped writing, she quickly stashed the notebook away once more before pulling her wand out, whispering a spell so low that no one could hear it before she wrote in the air between them. "Ru-Ru, maybe she could help." said the soft voilet words before they faded away, she looked down for a few minutes before petting the bunny head sticking out the collar of her shirt, smiling just as softly as the words that were written withing the air.

Aisling 'Ash' Cinaed

"Call me Ash, everybody does" Was her cheerful reply, not seeming to let him get her down. She absently held her hand out for the small dog to sniff, knowing he might nip her but sometimes that's what it took. A show she wouldn't hurt even if she was hurt... sometimes it took that much. Oh well, as long as her loyal chihuahua was still asleep it really didn't matter. He thought he was as big as the rudbecki hell hound and a guard dog at that! It could be trouble sometimes but he was sweet natured really. He just hid it under a whole lot of bluster, sometimes like some people.

"And I might be able to help, there's not one thing about this school I don't know and if it's not a subject I can help you with i'll know who can. I even know a psychic or two, even the grumpy ones." She made a face at the last two words, as if imitating the grumpy ones she spoke of. She then simply grinned, not appearing to be down or bothered by Arius words at all. She just ignored when people were rude.... She didn't mind, she'd learned along time ago that generally it had more to do with the people then her.

Aruis gave his sister a look for what she had said, it was clear that he rather keep it a secret between them but if she wanted to see if someone could help them, then he could not stop her. She after all could make her own choices much like he does, even though he wants to protect her from everything. "Are you sure, Ka-Ka? Once you ask there is no taking it back. Who knows what she may think of us then." he said to her as he rubbed her back in a comforting manner, shooting the female a glare as she had moved closer to the husky. He watched as Odin growled even more before it turned into a snarl, though unlike most he did not snap or nip at her instead he bite her, and by bite i mean he clamped down and did not let go. "ODIN! Release!" Arius said to him in a stern voice, glaring at the husky though he was not upset with him, with the command Odin let her go though he did not stop growling or snarling towards her.

Kaih looked down, a sad look on her face as she thought about what her twin had told. Though a shocked look crossed her face as she saw Ash get bitten viciously by Odin, once the hand was free, she quickly took her napkin and wrap her wounded hand up in it before she wrote in the air once more. "Odin, does not like anyone but me and Arius......I....am sorry for him and my brother. You see i um......I have a problem with writing uncontrollably." the pale violet words said before they faded off, she had told her what her problem was but not exactly what it was, more like telling in a roundabout way.

Aisling 'Ash' Cinaed

Ash sighed as she was bitten but quickly just closed her eyes. She had long ago learned to block pain using her power over her shifting and nervers, and considering she refused to use practice swords the sight of her own blood was not all that uncommon.The other Rudbecki's at the table glanced over but didn't seem particularly surprised. They were convinced Ash was a bit of a masochist anyway. She glanced over at them lazily and made a shoo motion with her hand that seemed to make everyone turn their gazes back to the table. Still Ash's eyes were slightly glazed until the dog was forced to release and only then did she let some of her nerves begin to function again in order to test the damage. The occasional hiss of pain and the brightness in her eyes was the only sign of anything in particular. Still she hadn't stabbed anything so that was good she thought absently, as she read the purple words.

"So Your an auto writer, so now I know a new psychic. Hmm... the best auto writer at the school I know of would be that white haired prefect over there, Sonya. She's a bit scary but she's always fair and could probably help you the most. She also doesn't talk to... well, anyone really so you don't have to worry about her spreading any rumors. She only listens to me because she needs a hand researching her own writing now and then and like I said I pretty much know everyone so I'm the one to go to. She also got a message from my dead grandmother once, that was interesting... But if you want to talk to her or not it's up to you. " She responded cheerfully, absently glad it was her left hand. She then began to preform a simple healing charm on her own hand, being she was studying to be an Aurorer that just seemed the kind of magic good to know. She didn't seem to particular care that the dog bit her. At least hades was sleeping...

((yes out of all my weird characters and the cool psychics and the people with dark pasts..... It's the cheerful fashionista who is the berserker XD)

Arius clenched his jaw as he looked at his sister, it was clear that he was not happy about her pulling someone into their business that they didn't even know that well. Petting Odin on the head as he finished his meal, waiting for his companion to finish eating as he kept an eye on his twin. He glared at those who were staring at them, not caring that it was mainly Ash that they eying, when they had finally turned back to their own conversation he relaxed just a little bit. "No one asked for your help." Arius said to her bluntly as he stood up, pushing past the female as he headed out, moving to one of the lakes that he had found during his first year at the school. It was clear that he was upset for one reason or another, but know on could possible know as to why and it seemed as if he was now taking it out on Kiah and Ash.

Kiah on the other hand, nodded as she listened to her explain things to her, a look of relief was on her face before it was replaced with a crestfallen look. Her twin was being unlike himself, being more hurt full then anything, she couldn't help the tears that sprung to her eyes as she watched him leave. "I don't know what an auto writer is. Thank you very much for the help......" she wrote in the air to the female, finishing her food up and stashing some veggies away for the bunny who decided to peek its' head out the collar of her shirt. She bowed to the female in front of her, biting her lip as she looked in the direction that Arius went in before she decided to go over to Sonya.
