Well I don't mind stuff being lost I love the differences- its all unique even though it all presents the same (or almost the same) story and that is exciting to me idw just is. I can usually adapt easily to voices so going between watching something subbed, to the same thing in english doesn't bug me. I mostly got into subbed anime by being interested in the final season of Sailor moon (only in Japanese) and animes like gintama that have no dub version, and I've slowly gotten used to them and watch them sometimes more then dubs (but mostly because I have easier access to the subs). I also use it to practice my Japanese skills I love to have fun while I learn.

Nah not horrible. But you were be amazed the difference there can be in plot between anime and manga, so much can get cut out in the anime. They have gotten a little closer to the plot in recent years, but I think there are still some changes.
