Canon Bios (Fredbear/G.Freddy) & Chica)

Alyssa walked up to the glass doors of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria as light from within was pouring out onto the dark sidewalk through the glass. She reached for the doorknob wrapping her fingers around it and pulled open one of the two doors. Stepping inside, the smell of pizza and sugar flowed throughout the air. Alyssa was as relaxed as ever to see a bit of happy childlike decor of the inside of the building. Bright bold colors, upbeat music playing, and sounds of the arcade games echoing out from the arcade room.

When Alyssa had applied she wound up coming at a busy hour of the opening of the Pizzeria for the day and so there were children everywhere. Now there wasn't a child in sight and the evening crew was cleaning up just before the sun would go down. They seemed to be in a rush to get out and even though she heard the rumors. She didn't believe them though, figured it was a creepy night and people got high on their shifts. What else would explain the rumors people say that the animatronics would come to life?

She was told five simple rules upon taking up the job: Stay in the office at all times, treat the animatronics as family, keep piece of animatronic costumes in the office as a last resort, do not leave the pizzeria at night, and do NOT go into Pirate Cove.

Even though Pirate Cove was down for construction and yet nothing seems to be getting done about it. Alyssa didn't mind the rules what so ever, her family wasn't...well taking on a new family would be a nice change. Staying in the office? Not so much, she hated sitting still or being confined. Keep costumes? Wouldn't that be mean to hold something that didn't belong to her? And what's with this not going or looking into a broken down Pirate Cove? That sounded the coolest to her, then again she liked pirates amongst other fantasy things that didn't relate to modern life. Knowing where the room were and what time she was supposed to be there - she was early by ten minutes.

Better to be early than to be late. At least that's what she was thinking that is. Looking around for the manager, she wondered if she would be greeting him once more or not. She was hired quickly because she could start the night after the interview and complied with all the rules including signing a contract about accidental reports. So she gave the company every reason to hire her, they just had to accept it or not. Being here tonight meant they had accepted her as she stood in her uniform. A black pencil skirt with a button up matching long sleeve shirt. Boring matching sneakers in which she could care less about. Her ginger hair was tired back into a high neat bun as her left blue eye was covered by her bangs showing off her right eye which was green. Her skin looked a lot paler against the dark boring shades of black and grey. She had a bag on her back in which she wouldn't tell was her other pack of clothes not wanting to wear this boring outfit all night long.

"He's...he's filthy."

Two members of the cleaning crew seemed to be gossiping as they swept the floors in the main room. They were just a few short feet away from the stage where the animatronic band stood. The curtains were wide open, as they always were whenever the cleaning crew was present. The innocently lifeless animatronics were completely still, heads drooping ever so slightly and eyes devoid of any light.

"Dude, no." The eldest of the two cleaning crew members stared at his coworker as if he'd suddenly sprouted a second head. "We can't touch the bear. That thing's dangerous!"

"Dangerous?" The younger man guffawed, leering with amusement at the robot in question. "It's a robot! And it's off, isn't it? Look at it. It's so dirty! Somebody should clean it!" He...wasn't wrong. While the other two members of the band were clean as a whistle, the bear animatronic was covered with dust and grit. He certainly wasn't a pretty sight, which was puzzling considering this was supposed to be the mascot of the pizzeria.

"Dude," the older cleaner hissed through his teeth. "We're gonna get fired if we lay one finger on that nasty thing. Didn't you read your contract?"

"That old thing?" The younger cleaner laughed. "People actually read those?"

"Yeah. They do." This was a third voice. The manager, a bulky man in his forties with a strong New York accent, loomed over the two cleaners. "And you won't touch that bear with a ten foot pole if you know what's good for ya. Your contracts state that the rabbit and the chicken can be cleaned, but the bear's off-limits. Got that?" Sufficiently cowed by their superior, the two shuffled off to continue their sweeping. The manager watched them go, readjusting his tie. Once they were out of earshot he reached into his pocket and fished out a small notebook. Using a ballpoint pen he then pulled from within the breast pocket of his shirt the man scribbled something down. Most likely something unsavory about the two cleaning crew members. They wouldn't last very long, it seemed.

"Hey. New night guard." He glanced in her direction, but only briefly before turning in the direction of the stage. "You're early." ...Did anyone else notice that? That deliberately slow panning of deep sapphire eyes the moment those two fateful words--night guard--passed through his lips. "Gonna be stuck in that cramped office from midnight till six in the morning, so stretch your legs. Have a look around." A mysterious light glinted in his eyes. "Introduce yourself to the band, get to know your new office space--that kind of thing. Just stay out of Pirate Cove. It's dark as sin in there. The lights don't work anymore, so chances are pretty good that you'll trip over some piece of junk or something and bust your head open."

The manager turned to face the new night guard, flashing her a million dollar smile. "Grab some grub from the kitchen if you want. Employees eat for free. Just, ah...don't make a mess in there."

"Yes sir" Alyssa responded looking up at the animatronics taking in each one individually. She would defiantly want a closer look later when no one was around, however something about each one of them seemed off. She wondered why and what was the history of all the night guards disappearing were. Asking the manager wouldn't be a wise thing to do on day one and the cleaning crew seemed to be at odds with each other. Alyssa skipped the idea of a meal, she ate a little before she arrived to make sure she wouldn't have to leave the office. That was a rule in her contract, 'Stay in the office' at least until the shift was over that was.

She walked past others who were whispering while finishing up the cleaning so it would look nice and clean. "Uh... Interestingly enough, Freddy himself doesn't come off stage very often. I heard he becomes a lot more active in the dark though." "Don't know how if all the power is off" "Then why do we keep losing all these night guards? The day guards are completely safe as long as kids do not hurt themselves." "I don't know man" Alyssa wandered closer to them tapping them on the shoulder while they were faced away from her and they jumped out of their skin. "Ahhhh!" The two guys screamed as she walked away smiling with triumph, scaring people for her was fun but being scared wasn't as much fun. She wasn't a masochist, but then again given her upbringing it sort of...well there was a reason she picked up this low level job to begin with.

She walked over to pirate cove trying to see inside but stopped herself. If the curtains were closed there was a reason for that a simple nod of her head stating her name "Name's Alyssa, nice to meet you." Though she knew the manager probably didn't mean literally tell them your name but why not? The rest of the crew already thought she was crazy as she spoke to each one saying her name individually. She complimented each one on their attire, bowed in respect, then left. Not that she thought they would come to life but she figured if something had eyes or a face. Then it must have a soul of some kind or so she thought at rare times. The psy- place she used to go to tried knocking that out of her sense in her head. Though whether or not it worked depended on her and how she would take it.

After everyone left, the place was empty and it would only be silent for a few hours. An hour before midnight, she had one hour before not coming out of that small little place even for a restroom break. She walked around checking on things and went back to the center stage making sure she was all alone. "Well, now we're all alone. Do you guys come to life like the stories say? When no one is around or looking? Does that include the night guard?" she was almost afraid to say night guard expecting them to kill her on the spot, then again she had a twisted way of thinking after everything. Shrugging knowing she had thirty minutes after making sure everything was put up she decided to do something.

Going into the kitchen she found some pizza that she put in a box earlier and heated it up going back out to the tables. Sure this wasn't a good idea and she'd have to clean up before she left her shift. However, in order to please something that couldn't be seen or interacted with except during certain times. Well, gods more like it, they would take offerings. Though she figured she'd be wrong in this state, but talking to things that didn't move or come to life and pretending she was having a pizza party was a fun idea in mind. Placing the pizza on each plate along with some drinks, she made it look really nice and then smiled going back into her office. Ten minutes to go, should she wait in the office or go stare at them until nothing or something happened?

Waiting for the right timing she changed her clothes into something more comfortable. A maroon shaded short sleeve dress that went slightly above her knees and knee high boots but in dark brown. Her hair came down as she put it in a low ponytail waiting for something to happen but still kept the night guard badge on and the flashlight in hand. She took notice of the desk and on how messy it was, wow so horri- The phone kicked on making her jump silently cursing the sudden interruption now that it was midnight.

Quote:
"Uh, now concerning your safety, the only real risk to you as a night watchman here, if any, is the fact that these characters, uh, if they happen to see you after hours probably won't recognize you as a person. They'll p-most likely see you as a metal endoskeleton without its costume on. Now since that's against the rules here at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, they'll probably try to...forcefully stuff you inside a Freddy Fazbear suit. Um, now, that wouldn't be so bad if the suits themselves weren't filled with crossbeams, wires, and animatronic devices, especially around the facial area. So, you could imagine how having your head forcefully pressed inside one of those could cause a bit of discomfort...and death. Uh, the only parts of you that would likely see the light of day again would be your eyeballs and teeth when they pop out the front of the mask, heh."
After the call was over she sat there waiting for nothing or hopefully something to happen.

That obnoxious pizza-shaped clock hanging over the band's stage in the main room only had to chime once, indicating that midnight had arrived, before the very first signs of something...abnormal occurring in the pizzeria began to pop up on the camera feed. The rabbit animatronic's massive ears twisted and bounced. His dark magenta optics darted about wildly, taking in the state of the main room. Bonnie the Bunny was by far the tallest of the four animatronics on stage. Not including his ears, he stood at an intimidating six feet, nine inches in height, and with his ears included he most definitely surpassed seven feet. Thick violet fingers drummed against the surface of his white and cherry red guitar--a custom piece, built for his large hands, that was actually a fully functioning acoustic-electric guitar. All of this movement could be passed off as his nighttime programming kicking in...

...but then he shifted, moving one arm, and jabbed the motionless bear standing next to him in the side with his metal elbow. Sharply. That looked like it hurt a lot. Freddy gave a jolt, the light abruptly flooding back into his deep blue optics. An unusual grunting sound escaped him after the impact. The hand not clutching the large microphone--which, like the guitar, was quite functional--slowly drifted upwards to rub the side of his body the bunny attacked. His facial features shifted until the mechanized eyebrows, eyelids, and face plates were contorted in an angry fashion. It was an expression straight out of a small child's nightmare.

Bonnie, however, was not at all intimidated and simply regarded the bear with a nonchalant half-lidded gaze. Instead he gave a short nod towards the tables, where the night guard's offerings were spread out in plain view. "Someone forget to clean up or something? Can we eat them?" Though he spoke softly his voice was still audible, but only just, through the cheap security camera. It certainly did not suit the hulking metal monster that he was. It was androgynous, yet not high-pitched, and heavily saturated with a mechanical tone.

Freddy leveled an unimpressed stare at his fellow bandmate before his azure gaze slowly panned over to gaze straight into the lens of the security camera. Speaking in the presence of a night guard, whether face-to-face or through the cameras dotted throughout the building, was very much against the rules of their game--this was the only warning Bonnie would get before being punished. It appeared that the bear wasn't about to take the bait. Brown-nosing of this nature wasn't likely to lull Freddy into a false sense of security. Bonnie just rolled his optics in response to the wordless chiding. Rules didn't mean nearly as much to him, it seemed.

This...was not programming. These machines were behaving like humans.

What seemed like an eternity, but in reality was only twenty minutes, passed before there was any further activity. The camera feed of the band's stage cut out briefly, going black before returning. But the current footage lacked a certain purple rabbit. Bonnie, sans guitar, sauntered his way into the camera feed of the main room, studying the pizza offerings with a wary eye. He barely made much of an effort to stay still on the feed, though he did stay standing in one place whenever the little red light on the camera blinked on. So as he stood there he fidgeted, gaze constantly darting from one thing to another. He seemed to be awfully bored.

At the half hour mark the ancient starry curtains that hid Pirate Cove from view began to rustle. A voice could be heard from behind the curtain. A deep, salty voice, with a comically thick pirate accent. It was singing. Only a few words here and there were audible through the cheap security camera. It sounded just like a sea shanty. The resident of Pirate Cove made no move to open the curtains or slink out into the pizzeria. Yet.

Bonnie moved again shortly after, this time stopping off at the Parts and Services room. He made no attempt whatsoever to stay still in here. Instead he circled around the room, picking up parts and putting them down again until he found the right one. A large screw, which he made a point of setting at the far end of one of the shelves. Most likely so he wouldn't lose track of it. At one point he did wait for the camera light to flicker off, moved right up to it, and put on his most sinister expression while he waited for the light to come back on.

Freddy had yet to move an inch after the initial confrontation with Bonnie. He rarely moved on the first night, unless there was an emergency and his presence was required.

By the time the massive rabbit finally reached the mouth of the hallway an hour had passed. He had to stoop and curl his ears to avoid whacking his head on the archway that led from the main room into the hallway. The resident of Pirate Cove stopped singing as Bonnie entered the hallway. The curtains slowly split open--just a fraction of an inch. All the was visible through the minuscule crack was a single silvery orb of light in the darkness.

A fourth animatronic.

Chica didn't move yet, though her eyes did shine with life once again she didn't want to get into whatever it was Bonnie and Freddy was arguing about again. They were always at odds with each other and she wondered how they lasted this long without killing each other. However, Chica un-phased like the others, also noticed the food spread out on the table. After Bonnie left to do his creeping stalk - Chica spoke to Freddy "So the human thinks to bribe us? Haven't had this done before have we?" she couldn't remember the last time a human tried to bribe them. Well except that one, but he didn't last very long. Very few took up the job and none ever returned from it, yet no one ever asked questions. Chica wouldn't start moving until at least three in the morning, it was Bonnie's time to do his creep and then she would be a distraction so that either Bonnie or Foxy would finish off the human trying to pretend to be them.

Alyssa was reading a book waiting for anything interesting to happen, she had heard the stories but wasn't quite sure what was really true at all. If she was going to sit here and do nothing she might as well enjoy some light reading. That was until she heard something which made her head snap up. Listening with her ears she could hear heavy footsteps - grabbing the tablet that held for the camera recorders she glanced at them.

Cam 1A:
Nothing unmoved - wait what was that? The purple rabbit was missing from it's spot? How could that be, robots do not move no matter what time of day it was. This spooked and intrigued her at the same time.
Cam 1B:
Nothing out of the ordinary. No sign of the rabbit yet.
Cam 1C Curtains Still closed.
Cam 5: Nothing to worry about yet. Wait, a shape? The rabbit was staring at her through the lens. Still she made no sound as being silent was all about her and what she was used to doing.
Cam 7: No feed? Well that's just great, a blind spot.
Cam 2A, 2B, 4A, 4B, 6: Nothing unchanged.

Camera 5 went out capturing her attention as it came back and there was no longer a rabbit - wait what was that? A crash from the entrance doors sounded throughout the entire Pizzeria filled with darkness. "What the hell?" ignoring the rabbit moving about as if it came alive she went to find out what was going on as she made sure her security weapon was with her. She put the tablet down leaving the office going into the main room looking about, still not sure how the rabbit managed to move from it's spot. She could hear low mumbles and cursing (somewhat with laughter). Shining her flashlight around she saw shadow movements come right up towards her. She stumbled as one of them attacked her knocking her off guard - she sat on the floor glaring at them. "So they let a woman be a security guard eh?" one of them smirked, this would not end well for her if she wasn't armed. Luckily she had her own move, but right now she would have only one shot. So she waited. 'Patience is a virtue' she thought to herself as she let them demand or explain whatever they needed her for.

One of them guys walked over to the yellow chicken looking at it in disgust "Ugh these things are filthy, how can they be a child's joy if they look like this? And they are creepy as hell too." The guy looked over the chicken and the bear then moved back to his team as the leader grabbed the girl's dress uniform. "Tell us where it is!" Not saying a word, she made their leader even more unsettling. "Tell us where the safe is and we'll let you go." Her mind started rambling as she knew "Let go" meant death in most cases or even something far more unpleasant for a woman or anyone in this position. "I don't know where that is, like they would tell me that on my first night." Alyssa responded finally shoving the guy off her pushing him back some as she stood up. Dressed like a girl or not she still knew how to fight back. However, the safe itself wasn't hidden in such an easy spot as far as the security office. The other men came back into the room saying they couldn't find anything no matter how much they looked.

Freddy was the first to notice that something was amiss. Though he opted not to move from his spot for the first two nights he was very much awake. Wide awake, in fact. His rounded ears rose, perking up, and twitched several times. Deep blue eyes panned across the room until he spotted the source of the odd noises. Intruders. Most likely thieves looking to make a quick buck. Apparently the terrifying rumors people spread about the pizzeria weren't enough to deter thieves. After all it was a themed children's restaurant. How bad could it possibly be?

The band was typically quick to deal with intruders. Curious teenagers and people looking to investigate the supposedly supernatural nature of the restaurant were promptly chased off by one member of the band in their false 'nighttime mode,' a suggestion made by the company owner. They would behave as sentinels and call out to the innocent intruders, cheerfully stating that the restaurant was closed and to say hello to the security cameras (which didn't actually record to tape once the clock struck midnight and only turned back on at about six-ten in the morning). If that didn't work the animatronic that spoke would move from their place, offering kindly to escort them to the door. That usually sent them packing. But thieves and vandals...they were dealt with differently. People with malicious intent who sought to do harm to the company, the restaurant itself, or the robotic residents would always meet a completely different fate. The animatronics were instantly hostile toward them and would outright attack them, just like they would a night guard. If the violent intruder, or intruders, survived the attack Freddy would toss them onto the pavement outside like a sack of potatoes.

But the situation was different here. Freddy didn't move an inch. When no humans were looking he gave Chica a gentle nudge with one arm, a distinctly cautious aura about him. Without words he was warning her not to move. Not yet. All of these intruders were armed with some kind of melee weapon. And, worse yet, he was sure that the apparent leader of the group was carrying a gun. They couldn't risk reaching out to strike until the group was close enough. Bonnie's vibrant magenta optics peered around the entrance of the hallway into the main room, but once he assessed the situation he slowly shrank back into the hallway. Apparently he was of the same mindset as Freddy. They were too heavy. Their footsteps would almost certainly be heard and then they'd be full of bullets.

As the group debated amongst themselves about what to do next they all turned to face the night guard. This meant that they were all facing Freddy and Chica, as well. The two animatronics simply couldn't risk moving, and Freddy's slow panning gaze toward the chicken, his blue optics both concerned and cautious, told her in no uncertain times not to move at all. Bonnie was just out of sight and he did peer around the corner into the main room. After a few moments he chanced taking a single step forward, but rapidly backtracked when a couple members of the group snapped their heads over their shoulders, searching for the source of the noise. Eventually they turned back around, cracking jokes about mice and rats making the rounds in the restaurant and wondering how anyone could ever eat here.

His heavy clunking footsteps were far too loud.

The group continued to interrogate the night guard, demanding to know where the safe and where anything of potential value was located. One of them suggested destroying the animatronics on stage and looting them for parts, but the leader immediately nixed that idea. He was a superstitious man, and while he didn't exactly believe that these things were actually sinister he wasn't about to tempt fate. Their internal squabbling and the demands tossed at the night guard gradually picked up in volume, but it wasn't nearly enough to drown out Bonnie's footsteps. He tried a couple more times, but at least one member of the group turned with every attempt. A few short minutes passed.

And then...activity.

The Pirate Cove curtains rustled again--silently, making no noise in the process. Pirate Cove was situated in a small side room a few feet from the first hallway entrance. It was still very much visible from the main room. It was a dark and dusty corner. The tables and chairs that once adorned the side room were replaced a long time ago with arcade and pinball machines. This room was out of sight for the intruders, but it was definitely within sight for the kidnapped night guard. Slowly, ominously, something slipped out from between the two curtains. It was a shiny metal hook, large enough to behead a person. It was followed by an arm, and then a body. It was the fourth animatronic, Foxy the Pirate. He was the smallest and thinnest of the animatronics, about the girth of an average adult man and standing at a mere six feet in height. He was slightly furrier than the four band members, though his clay red fur was dotted with a myriad of rips, tears, and mysterious stains. An eye patch was raised over his right eye. He was in bad shape mechanically. The joint that connected his left ear to his head was badly rusted. His jaws, packed full of long and sharp teeth, appeared to be lopsided. His right optic flickered occasionally when he moved his head too quickly. All of the fur on his single hand and his legs was gone, and the metal endoskeleton appeared to be slightly rusty and full of dings and bumps.

Sharp golden optics took in the scene before them. Almost immediately they darkened until they were completely black, with nothing but small silvery embers of light as pupils. Foxy glanced downward toward his exposed metal feet and swept his gaze toward the group, apparently judging the distance. Then, with careful movements, he knelt down and stepped off of his stage. His feet struck soft plush carpet adorned with images of guitars, cupcakes, and pizza slices. Thus, they made no noise. He was lighter than the others. At a snail's pace Foxy stalked toward the group with dark eyes. As he walked his head lowered, his ears slowly pulled backward, his long bushy tail began to swish rhythmically back and forth, his artificial lips curled up over razor-sharp teeth, and he raised his hook like a guillotine waiting to come crashing down on the condemned. Freddy tried to indicate wordlessly to him that he needed to stop--that one of them had a gun--but Foxy, reckless as ever, wasn't paying him any attention at all.

It wasn't until he was less than two feet behind the first member of the group that he was heard at last. Before the startled man could even turn around Foxy struck. He swung his hook wildly at the intruder's head, instantly knocking him out cold. The others roared. Freddy and Bonnie instantly rocketed toward the scuffle, eyes black as night. In an instant all three boys were on the group. Both of them were absolute monsters. They didn't just knock out whoever they happened to grab. They tore. They slashed. They stomped. But they weren't quick enough to stop the leader. He had a gun out without seconds and began firing wildly. In the chaos it wasn't clear if anyone or anything got hit. The three animatronics cut the large group down in a matter of seconds. It was an incredible feat of speed and strength! By the time the chaos came to an end and all was quiet, however, only two animatronics stood--Freddy and Bonnie, spattered with blood.

"Foxy!" Bonnie knelt down by the ancient fox's side, optics wide. Foxy was sprawled out on the ground, still growling with pitch black eyes and looking for more intruders. His expression seemed...pained, however. And it wasn't difficult to see why. Five bullets had met their mark, peppering the pirate's torso, neck, one leg, and his hook arm with hot metal. He randomly sparked every few seconds. The animatronic was currently disabled and unable to move, servos locked up from the sudden flurry of activity and the bullets lodged in his two limbs. "Did anything hit the oil tank? Or your head? Or...or your power core?" He sounded only slightly panicked.

All that escaped the fox's slightly askew mouth was a series of unintelligible garbles. It sounded quite a bit like an old dial-up modem. A bullet must have struck his mechanical voice box.

Freddy watched the rabbit fuss over the fox, standing tall over the scattered remains of the hostile intruders, for a few short moments. He turned after a while to face the night guard, fixing her with a stony sideways stare.

"Do you want to live, night guard?" His voice was a deep and surprisingly pleasant rumble, with faint hints of a Southern accent. He gave a slow nod of his head in the direction of Foxy, who seemed to be hissing and spitting at Bonnie for merely attempting to check the fresh wounds. "Fix the fox."

Chica stayed put, she had always kept to the rules - not that she planned on being a goody two shoes - she knew the dangers of getting involved in something like this. Wanting to move even when told not to annoyed her. She didn't care about the night guard who had been leaving food for them and Chica loved food even if she couldn't eat it. But watching others steal from her - from them all, that was enough to set her off.

Alyssa watched as the humans were picked off and killed in front of her. She was unmoved in her spot watching the events fly by without her being able to move to do anything about it. Alyssa wasn't about to answer the hypothetical question, she didn't even think the things could come to life, and when they finally could...they protected her...well the fox did at least. The others were just not trying to kill her at this moment. Alyssa glanced around at each of them but they were machines - even if they seemed human in most ways - there was nothing she could do about this. An idea occurred to her when the others were cleaning she overheard a few things and rushed up out of the room

She ran into the office grabbing the phone calling a number that had a piece of paper saying "New Mechanic" on it and waited for it pick up. No luck. There was an answering Machine as talked into it explaining as much as she could. "This is Alyssa Rayes at Fazbear Pizzeria, I heard you were the Mechanic we hired. I would like to hire you right now if you wouldn't mind coming in. I have no expertise in this matter and I know nothing of machines. It would be wonderful if you could come in as soon as possible before the next shift starts in the morning. Asap. Thank you." She hung up the phone and grabbed some cleaning supplies.

She made it back in the other room forgetting her fear of the events that occurred before. "Not much we can do until the mechanic arrives, I'm afraid if I try anything I would just make it worse. I don't know anything about machines or mechanics or anything. I didn't grow up with that luxury. I do however know we need to get rid of these bodies, maybe in the garbage or throw them outside and dump alcohol all over them. As if they were drunks that got hit. Then get you guys cleaned up. They'd close this place down for sure if we don't get that blood spatter off of you guys, not to mention - you'll rust." Alyssa whispered that last part as she went over to the bear (Freddy) handing him a large towel with cleaner on it to get the blood off. "I'd figure you didn't want me to touching you, so here." she figured he wouldn't take it from her so she left it on the table closest to him as she walked over to the rabbit.

"May I?" she asked hesitantly hoping the Mechanic would hurry up, this was rising up her anxiety levels, and that was something no one needed right now. Her one eye was still covered as the other waited for a response from the rabbit until the Chic came over taking the towel from her hand (not roughly) and nodded towards the bodies. Chica helped clean up Bonnie while he stayed by Foxy's side until the other human would appear. She didn't care if they were out of place, the new human would find out soon enough. Alyssa nodded going over to the bodies trying to move them out of the Pizzeria to not freak the new Mechanic out. Otherwise they might not want to stay and fix anything at this rate.

"He won't come in." The bear spoke calmly in an even tone as his ocean blue optics tracked the new guard. He had a feeling he knew exactly what she intended to do. "It is against his contract. The only human beings that are permitted beyond the front doors from midnight until six AM are the night guard and the company owner." His ears twitched and he remained silent as the guard left the main room to make her call. he made no moves to pursue her. Apparently he considered it impolite to interrupt someone else while they were on the phone, which was unusual. Didn't he despise night guards? Bonnie was still kneeling downward by Foxy's side. While the guard made that phone call and recorded a message he managed to push the irritable pirate up into a sitting position. By the time the call was finished the rabbit had the large panel on Foxy's back open. He couldn't conduct delicate repairs, especially not on Foxy--there simply wasn't enough room within his endoskeleton to move around comfortably--but he was able to hit a few switches. The arm and leg that weren't struck with bullets began to move freely again.

By the time she returned Bonnie had the fox's smaller neck panel open as well. He inspected the damaged voice box while the guard spoke. He folded his arms over his chest, squinting at the smoking mess of metal and wires. "It's toast. We're gonna have to order another one. At least it's not real expensive."

"I'll leave a note for the owner," the bear murmured, sweeping his gaze over the sparking pirate. "But I doubt it will do any good. The mechanic's contract prevents him from laying one finger on Foxy." The company was vehemently against repairing the aging pirate fox. They believed him to be dangerous. Far too dangerous for any of their mechanics to work on without being maimed in some way or another. And they weren't entirely wrong about that. Foxy was a notoriously difficult patient. Many past mechanics acquired lovely scars or had chunks taken out of them thanks to Foxy's knee-jerk tendency to swing around and bite. And, to boot, even simple repairs were difficult ventures. Foxy's endoskeleton was ridiculously small. Maneuvering around within his metal shell was always extremely dangerous. Many mechanics partially or completely lost fingers to that cramped space. Only a mechanic who was willing to bend the rules would even bother with the fox.

"Order it online, then," Bonnie drawled. "We can install that ourselves. It's easy. You've got the guy's credit card information, so just do it. It's not like he's gonna fight you about it, right?" The briefest of smiles alighted on the bear's face.

Predictably Freddy took a deliberate step away from the night guard when she approached him, ears pulling back ever so slightly and an unspoken warning flashing in his ordinarily soothing optics. He did not like to be touched by human hands and would have almost certainly retaliated violently if she deigned to touch him. He spared the cloth a glance but didn't reach out to take it--not from her hands and not from the table either.

Bonnie at first violently shrugged his shoulder in an attempt to deter the chicken. He was on high alert and bristling with unease. Being touched was the last thing he wanted. But his movement was so jerky and violent that it was enough to incense Foxy, who reached up with his working arm and tugged sharply on one of his ears. Bonnie hissed like an enraged alligator, opening his jaws wide, but refused to retaliate. Foxy berated him in that strange glitchy tone. The only audible words were 'bully,' 'lass,' and 'code.' Foxy was never a fan of bullies, though Bonnie was a slight exception simply because he would never stop being a bully, and harming members of the fairer sex was strictly against his code of conduct. Bonnie sulked and grumbled, but eventually allowed the cleaning. His fair violet fur stained easily and without prompt cleaning it would take hours to scrub those bloodstains out of it.

Freddy finally moved. He took a few steps forward and reached down, scooping up three bodies at once. "Stop." He spoke firmly, but without malice. "You're doing more harm than good. Do not touch the bodies."

"Yeah, short stuff." Bonnie, as per usual, was less than polite. "We've been getting rid of bodies for decades. That's kind of our thing, you know? Let Freddy deal with it. If you aren't gonna at least try to fix Foxy then would you mind getting lost?" Foxy growled something unintelligible in Bonnie's direction. The rabbit's ears bounced in response--he must have caught a couple of words in the static. "Of course...it's not that hard to do, but whatever. He just needs to be able to move again. I mean, I already know what has to be done and how to do it. I can see what the issues are. I can give step-by-step instructions. I just can't actually do it. My hands are way too big. All of our hands are."

Alyssa's fear switched with her annoyance level, there wasn't much she could do technology wise but there was something else she was good at. No that it would help much in this situation but she was sick of being told what to do by a machine. Alyssa figured it was now or never as she took a black hair tie from her wrist tying her hair up in a high ponytail along with her long bangs revealing her heterochromia eyes. Left eye blue, right eye green. Shrugging off the jacket she glared back at Freddy "Machine, night guard, centuries, or minutes. None of that matters right now you stupid rust bucket, gawd and I thought the freaking caterpillar and talking mice was annoying." She rolled her eyes walking past him not touching him and back into the office to find what she was looking for.

"Found it" She smiled with triumph walking back out into the room with the others, she was not going to be useless in this moment "And that stupid contract needs to be scrapped if a mechanic can't even come in the middle of the night to fix anything." Kneeling down with the book in front of fox she began skimming through the pages to find what she needed, the book itself was super old and seemed to not have been touched in ages as she sneezed from the dust then shook her head once as if to shake it off (the sneeze). "Aha here we go" Alyssa ... close enough, had found the chapter she was looking for as she started looking at foxy gently touching him as if not to surprise him too much. "Please hold still" she didn't care if he'd hit her, right now everyone seemed to be keen on protecting each other. "By the way I didn't read the contract, but I do listen to gossip and rumors. That's why I didn't bother to touch you papa bear." She just nicknamed him from Goldilocks and the three bears.

"You're still gonna have to tell me basics, most of this book is missing but at least I understand the bigger picture on what makes you guys work. Part wise that is, so come on Dr. Gadget, what do I do?" she had already started looking from one neck side to the other thinking that a magnet wouldn't work. They're all metal but pulling out each bullet should be easy now that she can see clearly - well better than before. The lights were still off and they still sat in the dark, but the dark was easy for her to adjust to. After this she would need to change back into that suit and if lucky change the style up to a not-pencil skirt look. Then again this was the wrong time to get unfocused.

"Kindly remember the rules." Though his tone was polite as ever Freddy's gaze darkened. The silvery dots that were his pupils seemed to burn with expertly restrained anger. "I will provide you with a copy of the rules. And...read your contract." Most of the rules specifically aimed toward night guards were unwritten. A few were outlined in the night guard contract, but Freddy would be providing this one with a written copy of all of them by the end of the night. Mutual respect was very important to Freddy. He made a point of being genial and polite to everyone, even those he hated with a burning passion, and he expected to be treated accordingly. This was his domain, and he was in charge during the nighttime shift. Though Freddy was very much a stickler for the rules, the same couldn't be said for the other two boys. Both of them snickered when the guard mouthed off and referred to him as a rust bucket, earning them disapproving glances from Freddy.

He sure hoped Chica didn't find it funny. Those two troublemakers would be stuck cleaning up the gore by themselves if they continued behaving badly and he didn't want her to be stuck with them too.

"He can't come in here at night because we'll wreck him if he does," Bonnie explained, fixing the guard with a half-lidded stare. "He has no business being in here at night. No one should have the right to interrupt the only time we've got to ourselves. Especially not some wannabe with a wrench. Or, you know..." A wolfish grin stretched across his face. "Little old you."

The instant the guard moved closer to Foxy the red animatronic began to growl, baring his fangs and tensing up. "Mm-hm. Thought so." Bonnie's ears twitched. "Hold up, runt. If you wanna keep all your fingers, that is." He reached out and, with lightning fast movements, used one arm to put the fox in a headlock and the other to restrain his one good arm. Foxy let out a glitchy howl in protest, kicking his feet wildly, but Bonnie made use of his much higher weight to keep him still. "Doesn't matter if you're trying to fix him or not--he's always a turd whenever an adult goes and touches him. So I have to manhandle him. And it has to be me, because he'll feel like garbage if he hurts Chica and he won't let Freddy touch him." After a few seconds of fruitless struggling Foxy grudgingly settled down, grumbling and gnashing his teeth together.

Both boys snickered at the second nickname the night guard tossed out for Freddy. Freddy ignored them this time around, reaching up to readjust his bow tie with his free hand. He somehow managed to look like the perfect gentleman in spite of the blood splattered all over his body and the corpses strewn over his shoulders. "Please, call me Freddy." He wouldn't take the bait and stoop to that level.

Bonnie adjusted his grip on the wily pirate, forcefully turning him so that the panels on the back of his neck and on his back were in plain view. "Well, first...you're gonna need rubber gloves. Because it's like a lightning storm in there right now. And then you're gonna wanna go fishing. The bullets in his arm and leg should be easy to pick out. He's full of holes, for Christ's sake. I heard the bullet in his neck drop down to his chest cavity. So...you're gonna wanna dip your hand in through the back panel. And you." He met Foxy's smoldering golden gaze without hesitation. "You need to be still. Completely still. Or you're gonna get hurt worse. Got that, half-pint?" Foxy grunted irritably in response.

After those words Freddy quietly gathered more bodies, hefting them up onto his shoulders and tucking the others underneath one arm. He glanced at Chica once he'd managed to scoop up all of them. "Would you like to assist me? I could use assistance opening the basement door." He intended to take all of these bodies downstairs to Golden. The sewer could be accessed from the basement, and they could dispose of these corpses that way. Only night guards were stuffed into suits. Intruders like these were simply dumped.

Chica nodded helping Freddy with the bodies trying not to laugh at the names though they were amusing she didn't want to get all covered in anything until it was necessary. Now it was "Going downstairs, are we?" not that it was much of a question to Freddy, she had her idea of where they were going. They had been doing this long before this night guard had showed up.

Alyssa didn't mind the way he was saying his words until she was called little, something she never liked being called throughout her life. Then again she ignored that, this was no time for picking fights for something that would probably kill her and with help of his friends. "So you'd wreck someone who would want to help you? Is that it? What was it someone said..." Alyssa thought for a moment "Programmed to be pragmatic, if someone messes with the mainframe" Alyssa whispered letting all things go until she heard something about shocks.

"Trust me, I'll probably be the one human who can 'handle' being 'shocked' on a far larger scale, this is nothing compared to what I've been through before. I may be small but I'm not that weak. And you," Alyssa looked at Foxy "Behave. For someone dressed like a pirate you sure don't act like one, pirates in most cases were gentlemen around women, are you saying you are not one to a woman? Don't you make me hurt you more." Alyssa didn't bother to whisper this time, she gave a glare that she didn't care if it worked or not but he'd have to find out the hard way.

Alyssa looked at the bullets in the arms and legs removing them without a problem, but the one that was in his neck that fell down to his chest she wasn't sure where it was. Damn this would take - her thoughts were silenced as she knew everything was coming back to her - not memories though. She carefully put her hand in the back getting closer to be able to move her hand and wrist freely. She knew there were sparks, felt small heat waves from them but kept going. She finally found something that felt like a bullet and not a part of the fox. Her head twitched slightly for no reason, yet it didn't stop her as she got the last bullet out. "There you go, at least now you don't have unwanted metals in your body." she almost said systems but that wouldn't be the logical term, not that she would care for logic right now.

"So here we go, that should do it. Probably should get him back to the cove for now if you think you're up for it or whatever Freddy told you to do. I am gonna go change back into that uniform before someone shows up seeing me covered in blood too, not that I mind. It's a nice shade of red, so pleasant, but I doubt others would see it that way too." She did what she had to do - going back to the office she changed out of her bloody clothes and into the original uniform realizing now there was a white shirt she could have worn in the beginning...oh now she realizes it. She kept her hair up, during the night was the only time away from people so she kept it down mostly until she was out of sight. Habit of hers. Made her feel different as she walked back to watch the others wondering how this all happened. "So you guys kill the night guards that work here? Or do you just like to scare them?" She was asking Bonnie.

"Yes. We need to make use of the hatch that leads to the sewers." The owner had that hatch installed when the building was being built. It was designed to keep the smell of the sewer out, and it most definitely did. It was also ridiculously heavy and difficult to open. Therefore, only one of the animatronics could actually lift the hatch. If the police came sniffing by they wouldn't even get close to opening it. "And then..." His optics panned downward, taking in the blood-soaked state of his body. "I should wash off. And so should Foxy. We have some time before the clock strikes six, so...I'm not too concerned about time constraints."

The basement was a dark space. It was also large, nearly the size of the entire building's floor plan. Freddy seemed to have no problem whatsoever seeing in the dark and didn't miss a single stair. "Golden," he called out into the darkness. "There's been an incident. We need to use the hatch."

"You just don't get it, do you?" Bonnie's voice dropped an octave and his expression soured considerably. "We don't trust adults. We can't trust them. In case you haven't noticed they don't give a shit about us." Shocking and harsh language coming from a machine built for the sole purpose of entertaining children. "We're nothing but machines to them. Just some stupid robots. Not like we've got feelings or nothing, right? I mean, it doesn't matter if they put us down. Neglect us. Push us around. Shock us. Make fun of us. Call us the most disgusting and vile names in the book. Deliberately damage us for shits and giggles. Right? It's not like it matters." His optics blackened. "We're just machines."

Foxy snarled at the night guard. The artificial crimson fur that lined his spine suddenly raised into a hard and distinctive arch--just like the hackles of a flesh and blood fox. But...he made no attempt to attack. The sullen expression on his face gave it all away. He wouldn't put his hands on a woman. Not deliberately, anyway. His bite reflex was off the charts, and if he was suddenly jolted with pain or startled he bit first and worried about things later. So she was definitely still in danger. If Bonnie wasn't there, holding him down, things would get ugly in a heartbeat. And speaking of Bonnie...he grunted and stared the night guard down. "You hurt him unnecessarily and I'll rip your head off and use it as a basketball."

Foxy's inability to stay his teeth became more and more apparent as the guard worked to remove the bullets from his metal frame. He squirmed, hissing and spitting, and constantly attempted to swivel his head while he snapped his jaws at nothing in particular. It was no wonder the management refused to put him back into service. With his extreme tendency to bite he was a definite danger to children in their eyes. As the bullets were yanked out of his arm and leg the previously disabled limbs began to twitch. Until Bonnie hit the switches they would still be mostly immobile. The last bullet was lodged in a painful spot. Foxy squeaked, snarled, and yowled as the guard poked and prodded about. He huffed with exertion after it was pulled out, shaking his head around in an attempt to free himself from the rabbit's grasp.

Bonnie waited for the night guard to leave before releasing the old pirate at last. Foxy sprung up like a jack-in-the-box, making an impressive leap away from his best friend in the process. He stalked off, still fuming over the impromptu tune-up, in the direction of the bathroom. Bonnie let him go, knowing full well that Foxy always needed time and space to cool down. He instead stood up and snatched the towel Freddy had refused. He was in the middle of wiping himself down--holding onto Foxy was enough to make him filthy all over again--when the night guard returned. He made a popping sound with his mouth, not bothering to look at her.

"Well, that's none of your business." He sounded awfully smug about it. "And even if it was, I'm not allowed to talk about it. Especially not to a night guard. If you wanna know, you'll have to ask Freddy. And he sure as shit isn't gonna tell you. He wants to kill you. You've got a free pass for tonight for helping Foxy, but come tomorrow we'll kill you where you stand." Deep magenta optics settled on the guard, an amused glint dancing within them. "You really wanna know? You find a way to fix Foxy. Totally fix him. Whether it's you or someone else fixing him it doesn't matter. You do that and then maybe, just maybe, you might impress Freddy enough for him to take an interest in you. Hell, he might even spare you."

Alyssa sighed taking her hair down once more "You do know you've put yourself in a hole here right? First when someone does try to help, you try to take them out. One way or another, killing or running them off. So no wonder they want to take you out as well, its killed or be killed. I get it - something bad happened in the past that no one can make up for, but that doesn't give you the right to kill them does it?" Alyssa wondered how early the library would be up and about for her to check into a few things. "So it's almost six am and I survived one night because of some idiots. Joy and here I thought it was my joyful attitude." She commented being a smart ass "I would ask if you'd want help but I doubt it. I'm going to do a morning round check except in here to make sure nothing else was broken."

Alyssa wandered off checking out everything she could, not daring going into the bathrooms right now. The last thing she needed to do was get her head bit off for that little ordeal. Luckily she was tiny to begin with, something caught her eye passing the bathrooms seeing something that wasn't there. A shape? An image? It came as quickly as it faded catching her curiosity for a split second them she shook it off. "I must have forgotten my meds." She commented to herself in a low voice.

Chica followed rather easily she could see just as well as most others in the dark as she turned her night mode eyes on. She stood near Freddy but not hiding, just rather keeping her distance waiting as the two would talk. She knew better than to speak to Golden Freddy of all out of those she knew.

Golden Freddy didn't move right away - he laid slump on the ground with a microphone in his right hand. As if staged for an attack or something would appear elsewhere. He turned his head realizing who had spoken to him and here he hoped the night guard found a way into his domain, the last one was over centuries ago. Well so it seemed to him that is. Standing up he didn't say a word, he seemed mostly quiet until he would land an attack. Though he stopped before going to the switch "Night...gu...guard...?" he was asking if it was the night guard they were throwing out. Either way he walked over to where the switch was to open a door that would go straight into the sewer ready to shut it one way or another.

"Whatever." The towering rabbit's voice seeped with bitterness. "You don't know anything about us. You're making assumptions, just like every other idiot who dons that stupid uniform. You think you know what's best for us? Haha!" A wicked smirk curled his artificial lips. "That's a laugh! The only people who know we're not empty metal shells? The owner, his family, the manager, the mechanic, the night guard, and...the monster." Bonnie did not elaborate on that last one. "And only the owner, the manager, and the monster know what we've been through. You wanna know, you need to ask Freddy. Maybe he will just tell you, if he's gonna end up ripping you in half anyway."

Bonnie held the towel with two fingers, trying not to get any blood on it. "Don't get used to wandering around, either. Because you aren't allowed out of that office. Freddy's made an exception this time, but if he catches you outside of your office again he'll break the rules of the game and stomp you into the ground." The rabbit whistled a little ditty to himself as he strolled off, heading for the bathrooms to finish washing up and dispose of the towel.

"No. Not this time." Freddy made a show of shifting his arm and shoulders. In the darkness it was difficult to see the bodies he carried, but he drew closer to his old friend to give him a better look. "Thieves. They found a way into the pizzeria without either of us noticing. I think we'll have to secure the border again." Though none of them were permitted to be outside Freddy made it his business to preserve the integrity of the borders to the outside world. On the one day of the week the night guards were scheduled to be off, Sunday, he would check all of the windows, walls, and doors that bordered the outside world for any sign of weakness or tampering. If he needed help fixing something he would usually call on Golden, whose supernatural abilities often came in handy on that front.

Without much grace Freddy pitched the bodies one by one through the hatch and into the sewer. After the last corpse was disposed of he took a step backward, ruefully studying his blood-soaked fur once more. "I'll be scrubbing dried bits of blood from my fur for days." He paused for a brief moment before clearing his throat, meeting Golden's dark gaze. "I should tell you...and you," he added, his blue optics jumping to Chica. "We may have an issue. This new night guard...is female." Which was a first for the company. "Foxy's behavior is going to change now that he knows. His personal code of conduct does not allow him to harm women. Without Foxy putting in the effort..." Freddy's expression darkened. "We have lost a valuable chess piece in our game. We may have to step things up at an increased rate."

Freddy already had plans of starting his usual routine tomorrow, rather than the day after. "I'll be counting on the two of you to assist me in that regard." He stared upwards, in the direction of the main room. "As I'm sure you have noticed, Chica...Bonnie's enthusiasm for the hunt is beginning to dwindle." Over the past couple of weeks Bonnie's ordinarily relentless pace was reduced to a snail's pace. He spent more time mulling around in the arcade and the parts room than he did actually pursuing the night guard. Bonnie had little desire to keep the game going. He felt as if it was a waste of time. "He's still hostile toward the night guards, of course...but..." Freddy folded his arms over his broad chest. "If Foxy refuses to hunt, Bonnie is also likely to stop along with him."

Foxy and Bonnie were thick as thieves. Extremely close. The two of them both felt as if constantly pursuing night guards was a waste of time, though neither of them were willing to break rank and try to reason with one.

Alyssa realized she was over stepping her boundaries, but who knew the machines could come to life? And why did they want to kill every night guard? Was it a game? Didn't they mention that? She was going to look more into this without alerting the manager himself and be more prepared for the next night. No way fooling them now that they knew about her being human - so this would take her a bit to figure out something. Being nice didn't work, being shy or standing up against them didn't work. So maybe going along with this game would.

Alyssa went back into the office thinking of ways to beat the game. Then again was there really a way to beat a game that many have played but failed? She doubt asking on the first week was going to do anything. Knowing Foxy wouldn't hurt her eased her a bit, but it made her wonder. She remembered her hand with the electricity and looked down at it, barely scratched.

"heh....that...is..n-new..." Golden Freddy responded closing the hatch locking it up glancing at the two. A spot back in the game, was it really time? Did this new night guard cause that much trouble to where Freddy would come to Golden to ask for assistance? "C-call...wh-when need-ed...y-you...knooooow...hooow..." Golden went back to his slump as soon as the clock would go off. Chica nodded "Yes, I have noticed. I wonder if there is a quicker way to rid us of her? So that we may have a male not...a woman." Chica spoke "But for now, we should return and think of a way to rid us of her annoyance." Chica started to make her way back wondering if there was a way to motivate the two to go against her.

"Well..." Freddy was content to trail along behind Chica and allow her to lead the way. He was deep in his own thoughts at the moment. "We have a few options. We can, of course, step things up in a way we normally would not...so soon, anyway." Night guards who survived six or more nights could almost certainly expect to die if they dared to come in for a seventh night of work. By that time in the week it wasn't just Foxy that sprinted around like a madman. "It is possible that we could convince the owner to fire her," the bear mused, rubbing his chin with the fingers on one hand. "The manager will not fire employees if they know too much. But the owner is different. If an employee breaks enough rules or he feels an employee is not the right fit he will indeed fire them regardless of what they do or do not know."

And yet...Freddy sincerely doubted that this would happen. The owner was intent on finding a night guard that he and his family could actually bond with. As if that would ever happen! The owner was unshakably determined to have a human element in their family besides himself. Someone they could count on to protect them if things got nasty. Freddy and his family...they were strong. Fast. Crafty. But at the end of the day they were still machines, and machines were rather vulnerable things. They could be damaged. Torn apart. Disabled with too much water or electricity. They could even be hacked. Freddy could appreciate the sentiment...but he was hoping the owner would eventually come to realize that would never ever happen.

Bonnie wasn't in his place on the stage. By the time the bear and chicken returned the bunny had himself seated nicely on the edge of the rickety Pirate Cove stage. He was tuning his guitar, humming to himself. The curtains to Pirate Cove were wide open, as if someone yanked them open. It appeared small from the outside, but was deeper within as it cut into the wall behind it. At the very back of the Cove sat a faux wooden pirate ship. In front of that were mountains of boxes and old, clearly broken props. The dilapidated fox was curled up on the deck of the old ship, taking it easy after his harrowing experience. He was still unable to speak, and sparks occasionally danced across his body.

"Back so soon?" Magenta optics remained trained on the prized guitar. "Is it almost six? I hope not. I wanna enjoy some free time for once." He paused before glancing up and jerking his chin in the direction of the slumbering pirate. "He's out like a light. He's in pretty bad shape. He's gonna need more attention eventually. He's a walking talking fire hazard right now."

Freddy stole a peek into the Cove, spotting a line of sparks spurting out of Foxy's body. "That's unfortunate," he retorted simply. "The mechanic is forbidden from laying a finger on him."

"This runt's new. He's only worked on us once." Bonnie strummed a few rapid chords. "Maybe he'll be willing to break the rules, then."

Chica looked about "Where did the human go? Did she run off?" The yellow Chicken highly doubted that as she looked about then at the cameras as if she knew the night guard was still here. It was obvious enough that she didn't run off but one could help for their sake. Chica went back to her usual spot "You have fifteen minutes before that clock strikes and you know you gotta be up here with us before that clock strikes." Chica wasn't sure how much longer they were going to last doing this for as long as they had been.

Alyssa at in her office room listening as well as she could but it wasn't very audible for her ears. She did pick up a few things and figured they wanted her gone one way or another. Well then why didn't they just kill her to get rid of her? It's not like she was hard to get rid of in the first place with how little she was. In a way the girl looked younger than what she was so it made her seem childlike in ways others usually didn't. Not yet thinking of something she watched the clock thinking 'Get ready for night two, I don't give up that easy'

Golden Freddy sat in the basement with his mind wracking on different ways to get rid of this 'girl' it seemed she posed quite a threat and even dwindled their numbers unexpectedly. So now it was his turn to take a cue and make the scare. Oh and so very very soon at that. Glancing over he noticed something realizing it was...out of place...yet he ignored it as he wondered which way to scare her the best.

Bonnie rolled his eyes and grunted like a petulant teenager. "Man, this is dumb. I don't even have enough time to tune my guitar the right way." The rabbit's scathing tone earned him a slight narrowing of the optics from Freddy. While it didn't surprise him all that much that Bonnie's interest in the hunt waned more and more with each passing day, it was still a serious problem that needed to be addressed. If both Bonnie and Foxy were unwilling to participate...even with Golden's help there was a good chance that they would never get their hands on this night guard.

After a few moments of irritable silence the bunny swung his massive legs back and forth twice before planting his feet on the floor and rising to his full height. Freddy stood at six feet, six inches in height. Bonnie had a good few inches on him, but the bear didn't seem to be intimidated in the slightest. "So...what are you gonna do? Try to chase her off first? I mean..." Bonnie shrugged his shoulders. "I don't really care what you do. Puny thing seems interested in our story."

"Most of them are." Freddy's tone was forcibly flat.

"Well maybe you ought to spill the beans," the violet animatronic drawled, turning to yank the Pirate Cove curtains shut once more. "If learning the truth doesn't scare her off maybe it'll convince her to get lost and leave us alone."

"That is not how the game is played." The underlying tone of finality in the bear's voice was chilling. Bonnie fixed him with an unimpressed stare.

"You're too damn stubborn for your own good." Bonnie's words were cutting. "You think you're doing what's best for us. But is that really what you're doing? Are you doing what you think will make us happy...or just safe? Because there's a difference, Freddy."

Glitchy cackles erupted from the shuttered Pirate Cove stage as Bonnie stomped off toward the stage, not even bothering to look back. Freddy's ears twitched with silent rage. Rather than exploding, however, the bear heaved a massive sigh, smiled, shook his head, and turned to make his way back to the stage.

The clock struck six shortly afterward. Barely two minutes after six the distinctive sounds of keys in the door shook Freddy out of the slumber he'd barely managed to fall into. A human strode into the restaurant, twirling his key ring with one hand and clutching a tool box with another. He was a couple of inches taller than Foxy and pale, with a long shock of black hair down to the middle of his back and vibrant icy blue eyes. The guy was covered in tattoos and piercings, though most of the tattoos weren't visible at the moment thanks to the black jumpsuit he wore. A nametag sewn onto the front right chest area revealed that his name was Bran.

"You still here, night guard?" His voice was a deeper baritone. It bounced off of the walls. "What kind of damage are we talking about here? And which one is it?" The rabbit and chicken he already had experience with--he spent quite a bit of time working on the rabbit's sensitive ear joints the last time he was in. But he still wasn't allowed to touch the bear. The owner was adamant that Freddy had to ask him for maintenance.

Alyssa heard the noise as she got up to check on it, hoping no more surprise thieves. She saw the person that looked to be like a mechanic and hope she would be right on this guess. "Mr. Royce I presume?" Alyssa went with the formal direct "My name's Alyssa, Severe damage that I don't feel like discussing. However, it's not the ones on stage, he's in there." She nodded her head towards the pirate cove "It's the pirate that needs attending to, poor thing is in danger over his head. So I would really like to know how much you can fix him." Alyssa was hoping they'd be able to restore the fox, but if not at least fix him to make him look nice...well close enough.

Chica stayed in slumber as the entire place fell silent, she didn't even stir out of slumber when the other human came in. It was eerie inside the empty place after all that had happened and even more eerie that Alyssa knew all the events that occurred. One of the rules stated to tell no one nothing. She did lie about not reading the rules, not sure why she said that, but she was being quite arrogant last night. However, there was no way in hell she was going to let some animatronics get the best of her. Let alone scare her off so easily or take her life away from her. Even if she had very little life from before this job, she was going to go down without some sort of fight or struggle. Alyssa walked over to pirate cover gently moving the curtains back, she wasn't sure if animatronics could attack during the day or come on at all.

However, Bonnie did say Foxy wouldn't harm a woman so that would mean she'd be currently safe if it truly was in his code. She glanced at the mechanic "I know it says you are not allowed to help him, but he needs it. I'll take care of the manager and Foxy later on if problems arise. So it will be on me, however he needs a new voice box or cords. Patching, and rewiring a bit after all that. I'm not sure about oil wise, I don't think that was damaged." Alyssa was going to let Freddy report this to the manager, not her, this way she wouldn't have to explain what had happened. Then again she would if she had to.

"Mister." Bran's forced serious expression began to waver. The corners of his mouth finally turned upward and he flashed the night guard a wry smile. "Please don't call me that. I already feel ancient enough working three different jobs." He hooked his key ring onto one of the belt loops of the jumpsuit and offered his hand. "I'm Bran. Nice to meet you."

His pleasant demeanor shifted somewhat when the guard revealed that the damage wasn't accrued by any member of the animatronic band. In an instant hesitation and foreboding washed over him waves, and that only seemed to pick up in intensity when she moved forward and pulled the curtains to the side. Foxy must have heard the footsteps approaching his Cove, because he was now in an entirely different position. He was slumped over by the side of his ship. To the untrained eye he appeared to be deactivated...but that was far from the truth. Sparks still occasionally jolted from his prone body. Though his optics were still they weren't dark.

He was wide awake. And bristling with unease, at that.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold up." Bran raised both hands into the air, waving them about slowly. "I...I can't. Not that one." Despite his words his sky blue gaze looked almost sorrowful as he took in the undeniably poor condition of the old fox animatronic. He clearly pitied Foxy. "I mean...if I could I would," he backtracked, rubbing the back of his neck with one hand. "But there a few good reasons why I can't do what you're asking me to do."

He shuffled his feet, covered by heavy work boots, on the carpeting underfoot. "First of all, I don't know anything about him. I wasn't supplied with his blueprints. Sure, I know the basics of working with machines as advanced as these...but..." Bran jerked a thumb over his shoulder. "These three were built using the same set of blueprints. The pirate was built by hand by a previous owner using different parts and a totally different design. Secondly..." His expression soured ever so slightly. "The parts that were used to build him...they're of a higher quality than the parts the others use. They cost more. They're not as common. Some of them are custom pieces worth hundreds of dollars apiece. I don't even know if the company has any spare parts for him left over. They told me in no uncertain terms that they couldn't afford to buy parts for him, let alone pay me extra to fix him...so if I lay one finger on him I'll lose my job."

Bran's gaze swept over the sparking fox again. "And lastly...well..." A bit of nervousness crept into his voice. "You know why they put this one out of service? He bit someone. Some guy--an adult, not a kid. But it was bad. I think the guy lost all ability to use one of his arms as a result. He sued and won crazy money from the company in court. So they're terrified of him. They don't want him at his best because they're afraid of what he might be capable of."

So they were deliberately neglecting Foxy...because they were petrified of him. How lovely. One of Foxy's bat-like ears twitched angrily in response to those words.

"But hey, uh..." Bran tried his best not to pay the security cameras, which were now actively recording, any attention. "You got a cell phone? Just in case something like this happens again and the phones don't work." Something flashed in his eyes. "I could text you and tell you what I would do if I were in your shoes..."

He was definitely implying something. Something that he wouldn't dare to speak about in front of these cameras.

Alyssa listened to Bran talk, well this wasn't going to as smoothly as she hoped. She didn't touch Foxy, it was probably bad enough she opened the curtains without much warning. "Why is everyone so afraid of them? Yeah I heard the rumors about killings and what not. Accidents, missing children, but that's just what others say. No one really knows what happened except the band and I suppose those who are like the manager now." Alyssa waited a moment as he continued to talk and suggested about texting. "Alright then, I doubt Freddy would be against me talking to a mechanic in case of emergencies for their sake." She said it that way as if talking to Freddy himself.

She pulled out a small notebook writing her number down then giving him the piece of paper to let him write his down. "The manager will be here soon, it'll probably be best for you to go unless you want to hang out." She wasn't sure how he would react to this and was glad she didn't have to explain that story. "So wait if you fix the band, do you fix Freddy to if things go down? Or is that out of your reach as well?" maybe he could give her tips through texting on how to fix and what to look for. Alyssa heard someone else about to come in so she went to close pirate cove. "Sorry about touching your curtains" She whispered to Foxy in apology then stood away from the cove. "I believe the new day guard is here and everything is as is. Once we're done...would you mind filling me in on the stories I have yet to hear?" Alyssa wanted to learn more about what her job entitled after last night. Who wouldn't?

"I don't know." Bran gave a simple shrug of his shoulders. "Maybe it's because they're massive metal battering rams? And because they have a reputation for bugging out at the worst possible times." He rapidly scribbled his number down on the offered piece of paper and held it back out to her. "I don't know everything about this place either. But the owner did give me a bit of an explanation. That was only after I proved I could do the job, and after I signed a form stating that if any of the information he shared with me reached someone outside of the company I'd be subject to legal action..."

Which meant that it was perfectly legal for him to speak of those things with her. From his place on the stage Freddy shifted his weight from one leg to the other and then back again. He was by far the heaviest of all of the animatronics...but somehow he managed to move about without making so much as a peep. His sapphire gaze seemed to be fixated on the mechanic. And Bran could definitely feel it, if the slight raising of his shoulders was any indication. The bear was intimidating to those who knew he wasn't just some machine. As a whole, however, the staff seemed to be in agreement about which animatronic was the most terrifying.

And that was Foxy.

"Oh, Freddy?" Bran stole a peek at the bear, meeting the stony blue gaze without hesitation. "Myself and the owner...we're the only ones who can touch him. I always give him a once-over, but I only put my hands on him if something needs to be fixed immediately." He didn't elaborate. It wasn't a good idea to continue that explanation with the cameras running in the background. As he spoke those words his phone was in his hand. He was sending a text. "He's been known to glitch out if someone touches him unexpectedly. Sometimes the spastic movements can send people flying off the stage. So it's best for everyone else to just avoid getting within arm's length of him."

A text would be arriving for the night guard soon. From Bran.

We can't talk here. The cameras are rolling. Don't know everything, but maybe I can answer some of your questions.

"Well its a good thing I work here too and I don't plan on leaving anytime soon." Alyssa spoke adding to her thought 'No matter what anyone thinks or wants from me' Alyssa did steal a glance towards Freddy wondering about activity during the day and why they didn't react then either. Maybe she would get the story soon but for right now she'll have to settle about with going home. "So be safe and keep quiet, right? Alright I'll text you later, I have to get to the store now." She didn't say why or that it was ruined last night (her outfit) because of the events that occurred.

"Last question: Why do you find them scary? Besides the stories no one seems to witness?" Alyssa wasn't looking for a certain answer just his opinion, if anything maybe the animatronics would like the response, they seem to tower in fear and intimidation. She would reply to his text later once they both would leave the premises. The day security guard appeared "Hey guys, what are you both doing here? Something break?" there was something odd about this day person, so positive and calm early in the morning even with the eerie feeling around the Pizzeria after last night.

Alyssa's eyes narrowed a bit as she glanced to Freddy to see if there was a reaction, but without waiting she turned away "Come on Bran, it's time to go. Since mister dimples is here, we should be fine to leave. Besides, you don't want to be late to your next job and I can't afford to waste anymore time." Alyssa walked past keeping her guard up as she left the building in a casual stroll saying in a low voice "See you at midnight" talking about Freddy and the gang. She'd have to figure out how to fix Foxy one way or another, it wasn't Freddy's threat that made her want to save him. It was...something she would choose to do even on her own.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - During The Day - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Alyssa walked herself home as she always did, she didn't care to drive nor did she care for fancy stuff as far as electronics except a few minor basic things. A cellphone and a computer - an old box one that was used and sold super cheap for her. If it broke it would be on her, no one else. She had used her morning to get some breakfast then get a new uniform that would be easier to move in without having to wear pants. She went to the library in the afternoon after taking a warm shower and went through books of information as well as history. She couldn't find much about the Pizzeria this way so what Freddy said was true, no one outside the band and main family knew anything. At least no one that was alive and resurrecting the dead wasn't her fortay, she didn't need those things following her again.

She did find quite a few books on machines that she spent hours reading up upon and even finished most of them. She would have to do this the old fashion way - reading in person. Good thing she could speed read but that doesn't help her with Foxy still. Alyssa wouldn't admit that she brought the old manual with her explaining how Foxy was built. She then remember Bran and wondered if he would know more than this manual.

[I get why people are scared of them, I've seen them move. However, I still don't see the danger, maybe that's because I got off lucky last night. - Alice] she wrote her nickname instead of her real name.

[Also hey, I am reading Foxy's manual but I'm not finding much to go on. Any clue as to how to fix his voice box and springs? Where to find his parts? I've never been one much of the internet. - Alice]

Bran outwardly laughed. It wasn't malicious or condescending, though--it was a pleasant sound. "You must be just as nuts as I am!" he declared in a cheerful tone. "This place has got an employee turnover rate that's out of this world. Mechanics usually last longer. A year tops, maybe. But I like working here. I like working with mechanical things. And these guys--and lady...they're quite a challenge for me. I enjoy that. I like keeping them running like they should be. It's a good feeling."

Her question gave the mechanic pause. He hummed in the back of his throat, squinting off into the distance. "...I think I might have watched the Terminator movies too many times," was the best answer he could supply. They were intimidating machines, that was for sure. Because he had little experience dealing with Foxy, as per the owner's orders, Freddy was by far the scariest of the bunch as far as Bran was concerned. Freddy was ridiculously intelligent. Idly, in the back of his mind, Bran found himself wondering if the owner ever bothered giving that bear a proper IQ test...

Bran barely even glanced at the day guard. "I should be going too, yeah. I've got a big tattoo job today that I've gotta get ready for." He hung back for a few moments, tapping away at his phone and waiting for the night guard to leave before he did. He didn't want it to seem like the two of them were leaving together. When he finally did leave he strolled confidently through the front doors, whistling to himself.

He wasn't fooling Freddy. The bear already suspected the two of them of colluding. But just like Bran he paid the day guard no mind.
------------------------------

Bran took his sweet old time responding to the night guard's texts. That tattoo job he spoke about before must have been taking him ages to complete. By the time he finally managed to eke out a response nearly a half hour had passed.

[Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. Just finished that tattoo.]
[They want to KILL you. Or didn't you realize that?]
[I can't believe you managed to get out of that office without getting whacked!]
[I heard the rabbit and the bear can rip a man in half in seconds.]
[There's a rumor going around that Foxy beheaded a guard with his hook once.]

There was a brief spell of no texting before two final texts were sent. One was the address of a local garage, where Bran must have worked. The second arrived only a second later.

[Meet me here ASAP. We're closed today. I'm doing inventory alone. We'll talk more.]

[Oh I realized that, they said I got off easy last night with the events that occurred. Freddy Bear wanted mt to fix Foxy in which would save my life. But I've lived a life of no updates on electronics or what not. Didn't really do schooling either technically and so I'm at a loss on machines. I barely am able to work my box computer at home, my cell, and the tablet at work.
I know basics since I read the manuals, but yeah...]

[Well here comes another night, I wonder, hey how long was the longest night guard here? I mean how long did they last?]

[And why am I suddenly feeling like i'm the first female? They didn't seem pleased to find out a woman was a night guard. I already know that Foxy doesn't hurt woman, it's against his code.]

Alyssa saw the texts then decided to hop the bus after putting her books back in order to not get yelled at by the librarians. She put the manual back in her bag, figuring she would take it back to work tonight, and followed the directions. She arrived looking around it then sent a text.

[You here? I'm outside, took me a bit to get here]
