Planet Earth.

A world full of life, you will find here rich ecosystems where animals and plants of all species reside. There are those however, who would interrupt these ecosystems, tarnishing the very life they had created, causing many animals to go endangered and many plant species to die out. In order to protect the precious life of this planet five special girls were called to act as its protector. They were called 'Mews'; With the aid of rare species they transformed and borrowed their powers to put a stop to the destruction of their world. It had seemed that an alien threat had been working in the shadows, through their team work the Mews had defeated them.

This all happened forty years ago, since then Earth had remained a peaceful planet (In a sense) The Aliens who they had defeated offered to restore that which was lost, now animals that were endangered were once again in abundance. Plants that were crucial to the humans way of life grew back. Working together with the aliens Earth had been restored to its former glory as we know it today.

But there was a looming presence that had entered the scene, one night dark objects rained down from the sky, the aliens couldn't pinpoint the exact source of these "Dark Stars" as they named them, but whatever they had came into contact with would shrivel up and die, it seemed to only affect plants.

This had caused some concerns, but what followed next was what really worried everyone, Plant Monsters. It seemed that once the dark starts slammed into an area with plants all of them would 'come alive' and would target poor defenseless animals and humans alike.

The Aliens, thankfully, came up with a plan; to create new Mews. However Mew power only affected females, and finding out who would be most suitable for the task of fighting for Earth once more would not be easy. And this is where our story begins...

Mew Power: Cotton Tail Rabbit.
Bio/Personality: Machiko goes by Mochi for short, it was a nickname bestowed upon her after winning the "Mochi Eating Contest" when she was 14. She loves to eat and never seems to gain a pound when she does. She is actually quite calm and gentle and has an extreme love for carrots, due to her awakening as a Mew. She comes from a standard family that moved to Tokyo from Osaka, she is a very down to earth person who can become strict, but she has a pure soul and hates to see people in pain.
Attacks: Static Sword, Static Rain, Bolt Beam.
Element: Lightning.
Likes: Carrots, Mochi, food in general, perfume (She can be rather girly,) and roses.
Dislikes: Pocky, Bullies, sprinklers.

(just like albinos, black variants can occur in any cat. Jaguars are simply the most common among big cats and the only big cat to have a breeding population of the black variant. Basically, it just is a mutation where the creature happens to have too much melatonin)

Their home and personal items lost, they still were not left with nothing. They had the money left from their estate. A man claiming to be their god father surfaced and took them to Japan, along with all their money. The man was a drunk and quickly started in on the beautiful but naïve Arie once she began to develop at thirteen. Cheri would have no part of this and breaking one of his own beer bottles soon had it at his throat even in her tiny hand. She made it clear, if he did not leave he would die. The man ran, and Cheri calmly led Arie once again, this time to a neighbor’s house. She would offer the woman an allowance from their fortune, which amazingly their god father had not drank away, until they were seventeen if the woman would take care of them. The woman agreed.
Such was an act that illustrates Cheri’s personality perfectly. She is bold, quick to act, but with a calm, cold, calculating mind. She prepares for everything but plans for nothing, the perfect contradiction. She is the type to love you one minute and hate you the next as she has little tolerance or forgiveness in her heart, save for her sister to whom she is devoted. She likes to provoke people and often insinuates she and her sister are lovers when in public. She does so partially to keep men away from her innocent sister and partially because she loves to get a reaction. Her and her sister often preform as an act called ‘fire and ice’ where the two dance and Cheri plays the guitar while Arie plays the violin.

So Arie has been led her entire life and is devoted to her sister. She acts confident in her sisters presence but when alone tends to be quiet and shy as her sister is bold. She has a habit of going off on tangents when talking and occasionally slips into French so few understand her but her sister. Still, despite her shyness she is a loving and gentle soul who will never leave another person in pain. Due to her devotion to her sister and her habit of following Cheri’s lead when Cheri feels like provoking people there are rumors of incest around the two, though none are true. Her and her sister often preform as an act called ‘fire and ice’ where the two dance and Cheri plays the guitar while Arie plays the violin.
