I had a relative that was going through a divorce so she ate tons of Reeses' Peanut Butter Cups and became allergic to peanut butter.

Lottery Winner
Fairywaif
270g

-6%: 253g
70g ticket entry: 183g in earnings.

Lottery Details
Ending At: 500g or Oct. 10
Total Tickets: 27
Total Participants: 6
(QueenElizabeth, Astrelle, Fairywaif, Dejae, KiwiRose, BellyButton)
Fairywaif's % to win: 26%
_____________________________________

New Features Update
From this point on, instead of contributing money to enter the lottery, you can instead send me your old items for 60% of their purchase value. Additionally, your maximum allowable contribution per lottery is increased by 1 ticket per 300g of value of the item. If the price of the item goes over the maximums for a specific lottery, the remainder of its value will be credited toward future lottery drawings.

Example: Donate a 300g item for 180g. Your max in that lottery is 21 tickets, of which you have already purchased 18.
Example 2: Donate a 1200g item for 720g. Your max per lottery till this fund is used up is 24 tickets, and you have already purchased all 24 tickets for 3 full lotteries.

When winning a lottery, instead of accepting only gold you may choose to accept specific items for 80% of their purchase value, or random items for 70% of their purchase value. Some items will only be able to be acquired randomly.

For those items not purchasable in stores, their purchase value is based off the average of market norms.

Additionally, you may have noted greater detail to the lottery winnings report- regular participants will now be eligible for random participation prizes as they play, and other random prizes may be awarded.

The percent of funds taken by the lottery has also been doubled, to represent the costs of prizes and for improved gains for charity. As always, any windfall gained by the lottery will be returned back as prizes or events.

Your thoughts on these modifications are welcome.

It would seem so, 'BriarRose'. It would also seem that you've become a queen of the wild west now. :P

Darkeyes, Channah has sent you a 1500.00 donation.

Now, if only I could get 1500$ randomly and for free in real life :P

In honor of the gift:
1 The first 50 tickets purchased for the next lottery will count double.
2 I will be holding at least one bonus prize drawing for the lottery.
3 At the lottery's end, any person with at least 5 legal (IE, not spam/double posted) posts made since the end of the last lottery in the lottery thread will be entered for an additional prize.
4 Finally, for each person that enters the lottery and posts that you introduced them to the thread you will gain an additional ticket, plus one per 10 tickets they purchase.

I try to basis the frequency of contests off of current interest in them as well as the measure of what free time I have- which really hasn't been too much as of late.

It had been my intent to save the charity funds up to found a related charity, but I'll take recommendations from participants in my threads.

I'll be delaying the current lottery to mid January, since so far only two people have entered, and I wouldn't want your additional donation to it to not serve its purpose.

That, and it still needs more entry funds to start anyway..

Current lottery information is always listed on the first post of this thread, which will list monetary and chronological end points for each lottery.

I'll be updating the posts in a moment with the new information/ticket entries.

I can sympathize. Just today I had five meetings/classes/exams to go to.
Of course, being sick today, I didn't manage to go to any of them, which means I'll have to make them up later, starting with waking up two hours early tomorrow to retake an exam. -_-

Of course, being sick, I actually had a measure of free time to visit Mene..
