Yuno stirred from her sleep, sitting up to rub her eyes. What a weird dream. She paused, the red world getting to her senses now. She tensed, standing. She moved her way to the window, looking out at the world that seemed to be void of life. It was about this time, that her phone rang, and the female turned to look at it. She should have been afraid, but now was not the time for fear. She picked up the phone, looking to see who it was, but the number was blocked. Answering it, she placed it to her ear.

She was greeted with a familiar message that the others were as well. Her mind taking in every word the other said in the process. This had to have something to do with the dream...didn't it. She stood there in silence, even after the voice hung up. Her heart racing. The phone beeping at her ear, caused her to lower it and a text popped up telling her to go to the park. Her contact list was next to open, and a series of eleven names scrolled over it. She could not have cared less about most of them, but as one moved over her screen, her heart skipped a beat.

"Yuki..." she clenched the phone, no, Yuki was here...wherever here was. He was probrably all alone like her, and with all these other people here? "Yuki!" she turned, bolting from the house without a second thought in her mind. Hair blowing out behind her, she ran with all her strength towards the direction of the park. Whoever and whatever was waiting for her, she did not care. She was only focused on Yuki as normal for her. She would not let them lay a finger on Yuki at all!

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Yuki neared the park, and voices drifted over to him from the confinds. People were already here? His mind for a moment drifted back to the strange list of contacts that had moved over his screen. He swallowed a bit, peeking aound the corner of the park wall. Counting them, there were ten in all here at the moment. One more girl just arriving as he counted. She had orange red hair, and seemed to not be interested in the others for the moment. Who were these people? He did not recognize anyone, but many of them seemed to have someone. He swallowed, well, there was no point in hiding here was there? He would have prefered it, avoid all contact with these people if he could.

It was probrably better for him in the long run, not to get involved with any of them. Slowly however, he stepped out from behind the wall. He slipped into the park, at first not thinking anyone noticed him. That was good at least, he was so much of a nobody, that he went unnoticed by many people who were around him. If only that worked back home, where he was noticed by everyone and not in a good way at all. He sighed a bit, glancing around at the scene. It was a beautiful park, save for the eerie red glow that was around them. It must have been a pretty nice place before whatever this was. He wondered what had happened to cause all this...

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yuno could hardly breath, as she headed down the street. She was nearing the park, and her mind kept repeating the other's name within her head. She could see it now, the one before her. His form rising up as she moved closer and closer to the park. Seeing him, she had to quickly compose herself. None of the others mattered to her, and they could have all not been there for all she noticed. "Yuki!" the shound of his name being called, came right before someone threw their arms around his neck and the two fell to the ground. Yuno was nuzzling him, and she could not have been happier to be reunited with her Yuki. He blushed a bit, clearly feeling all eyes on the two of them now. "Y-Yuno...what..." he blinked, looking at her. He stood, taking her hand to slowly help her up.

"I dunn know Yuki....I guess it is just fate~" she giggled, stepping closer. He blushed a bit, the embarassment and awkwardness of this situation was deffinetly growing. She did not seeme to even notice or care that they were not alone, as she spoke to him. Out of everyone he knew who could have been here, it had to be her. She glanced around, tilting her head a bit. "Why does the world look like a cherry Yuki?" he blinked a bit, a cherry? She really had a unique way of looking at things indeed. At the same time, he was amazed. She didn't look nervous or scared at all. On the contrary, she looked perfectly happy and calm. She was either really strong...or crazier than he thought. He seriously hoped it was the first option...

Alacor

All of them had different lives. Every single one of those selected by the master. Alacor watched each of them that day, from their own worlds intertwined through the threads of fate and destiny. He was curious, as to which one of them would come up on top. He smiled, floating high above the sky as he watched the last of them fall asleep .It was time, time to enact the plan that would set things into motion, and chage the course of their destinies forever. He raised a hand to the sky above him, and a blood red took over the darkened blue of the night sky. It spreads over the sky, creating a blanket that the night could not hide. Things were changing.

-------------

Watching from the roof, he looked out over the world before him. The eerie red, created a warm glow across his being. He smiled, able to feel the presences of the twelve individuals spread across the city. They could not escape, they could not change this all. They had been chosen for a great purpose by the master, and now they would fufill it . Closing his eyes, he could feel the presence of the other in his mind, telling him that the time was now. They were waking, one by one they were waking up. He snapped, what they would call a cell phone appeared within his hand. Placing it to his ear, it was simultaniously dialing all of them at once.

He would relay the message, and each of them would hear it as if it was directed only at them. One by one they would understand a bit more about what was going on. He did not give much away at this stage however, merely a simple greeting and hello to the twelve of them. Hanging up, he would watch as a message composed on the phone telling them to go to the park. There he would tell them what they needed to know. It sent, and he glanced down at the designated park which happened to be across from the roof he was standing on. The phone vanished from his hand for now, as he waited.

They would come, there was little else for them to choose and they would be foolish not to. For those who didn't, would have a severe disadvantage when he gave away the information that he held, and the knowledge of who their other players were. He paused, feeling the presences of both Order and Chaos nearby. So, they were curious to see who the players were as well hmm? That was fine, once the game began, they would get their chance to have a bit of fun as well. He watched, and slowly one by one they began to show up. Each of them had their own personalities, some more hostile than others. He chuckled lightly, folding his hands behind his back.

Such simple beings, but they had the potential to change....everything. He moved to the edge, lowering himself to sit for now to observe. That was who he was...the observer. He was the master's eyes, ears, power and so much more, where the master could not be. He kept forces and those who commanded power in check. He was the perfect servant, but sometimes....he wondered if there was more. A light pain formed in his head, and a hand moved up to cover his eye slightly. It seemed the master did not approve of such thoughts at this time. He pushed them away, focusing on the task at hand. He had a key role in this, as did all of them. He smiles, leaning back onto his hands as he crossed his legs. The show was about to begin.

Red orbs without a pupil looked down upon those who gathered in the park. With a sigh, he rolled up from his slouched, lounging position to really gaze at the-- no, he was bored again. Pulling out a nail file, he went to work shaping his hands so that they were polished to perfection. He was never one to admire dirty, misshaped nails. Making sure that each nail had the same shape and amount of white showing, he smirked when the presence of his lighter half decided to show up. He said not a word to her. There was no shift or stir. He merely just kept on whittling away at his nails.

Nails perfect, his crimson orbs flicked back over to the crew in the park. A small grin of intrigue grew out of nowhere. For having no interest originally, he seemed very interested all of a sudden. It had everything to do with the scuffle that happened below his gaze. "Humans are such strange creatures," he whispered to himself.

Inspecting each in their mortal glory, he couldn't help but notice one was missing. Of course, it brought an eye roll. He knew where the other was and wasn't impressed. In fact, he was insulted that no one had noticed the brunette. I'm surrounded by idiots," he said while messaging the bridge of his nose. "I'm not a begging man, but if I was, I would wager that the assassin would win this game."

Just then, he lost his footing. A shadow fell from the peak of the building he was perched atop. The second his body collided with the ground, a puff of smoke rose and rolled over itself. The wispy fragments of the shadow vanished before the air and soon, the darkness was gone. Or at least it appeared that way....

Alacor noted the others speaking nearby, but he did not turn his attention away from the park at any point. Soon, all of the ones down below seemed to be getting more and more adgitated. He smiled lightly, before he stood from his position on the roof. He seemed to float on the air, slowly stepping down on invisible steps, as he lowered towards the park. It was time to get this little game of theirs underway. Yuki felt a chill run down his spine, his attention turning immediatly to the approaching presence. His eyes locked on the man who seemed to be walking on thin air. "Yuki?" Yuno lifted her eyes, looking at the other. Alacor stepped down, , his foot finally stood an inch off of the ground.

"Welcome" he said, his voice instantly catching the attention of all of them. He smiles, rasing a hand to snap. In an instant, all of them were standing in a circle around him. The ground began to shake, and the world around them began to fade to white. A white marble like room appeared around them. A circle portion of the floor around their feet broke away, lifting them into the air, and slightly spinning around him. He himself lifted into the air once more, floating in the center. "You have all been chosen for a specific reason, chosen by the master himself......" the circles came to a stop, his attention for a moment turning to each of them one by one.

"There are twelve of you for now...each of you have been designated with a number within this little game" he tilted his head, "to get over futile introductions, you will be introduced now." His eyes turned to start on Yuki, "Number One: Yukiteru Shigure. Number Two: Yuno Harumi. Number Three: Nieko Colte. Number Four: Eleanor Marie Duboi. Number Five: James Kendel Rodgers. Number Six: Destiny Marie Durnenham. Number Seven: Reina Yoko. Number Eight: Mobius Timothy Blanchard. Number Nine: Alexxis DuBoi. Number Ten: Neal Hunter Gillette. Number Eleven: Dorothy Deslina Roctagro. Number Twelve: Elise Meredith Loree" he looked at each of them in turn, designating who he was talking about.

There was no chance now, they each had their true identity revealed to the others. "Each of you has power beyond imagination, graced by the master himself.....I will allow you to discover that bit of information on your own time, since you have plenty of it" he smiled once more. "My name is Alacor, I have been designated to be your guide...and an observer for this little game. Now that we have that out of the way...we can get down to buisiness" he tilted his head a bit, "the world you are living in for the moment is cut off from the normal worlds each of you come from...in a sense, you can call it a common tear in time at a point of which all of your worlds intersect." He figured this would be a little difficult to understand, so he gave a wave of his hand. A hologram of the earth appeared above each of their heads.

"Each of you is from Earth, though each of you is from a different form of it, such as what you might be familiar as a parallel universe" each hologram turned a different color, to designate different universes, those from the same one, had the same color. "Every world, every universe is overlapped like a deck of simople playing cards....at various times, shifts occur that cause these worlds to cross paths and intersect for given amounts of time" the worlds moved to the center over him, coming together as one. "It just so happens, that this point in time, is when all of yours cross paths, which allows all of you to exist in the same reality at once without complications. Once this little game is finished, time will resume as normal on your worlds as the next day from the ones you just fell asleep with as if nothing has happened....unfortunately eleven of you will not be waking up with it."

He paused for a moment, "to keep others out of the way, this world has been voided of all other life as well, so there is no one to bother you. This area of the city has been blocked off as well, so as to not to waste time with immense distance gaps between all of you." He closed his eyes, "you are all here for one reason only...to survive. You were all chosen by the master because you showed potential....potential to become the next god." His eyes opened, a colder gaze within them, "my master's name is Polaris....he is the master of life, death, creation, destruction and more....he is the one who rules over every single dimension, and the one who has the power to shape them to his will." He glanced at each of them, to see how they were taking this information. Yuki was frozen in place, all of this information was piling up inside of him. He felt numb, this could not be real, no way...could it?

Yuno stared at the man, her eyes narrowing a bit. So, this was a game hmm....eleven of them would not be waking up? She glanced at each in turn. That just made it simple, she would make sure Yuki was the one to win. "Polaris though a god...is not eternal" Alacor continued, a slight sadness forming in his eyes. "The details for now are not to be concerned with, but my master is passing, and before he does...he needs to find an heir to take his place. This is why this little game is commencing, each of you is in the running to replace Polaris....the stength and power to govern countless worlds, bend them to your will and power to do whatever you desire is in your grasp. The catch.....you must eliminate your competition.....for as long as more than one of you survives, a true heir can not be chosen. You must prove you are the best if you desire to think of it as such...survive and take what you desire" once more he looked at each of them.

"You may choose not to kill...to live together in this little nitch....but be warned, as you do, due to the passing of Polaris, each of your worlds will begin to crumble and decay. Every life on your Earth will die, till there is nothing left....then this world will begin to crumble as well, and with it each of you. If you fail to decide an heir, everything will cease to exist....permanently." Yuki felt his heart almost stop. Their worlds....were dying? The longer this was dragged out, the more damage would be done to the worlds in their absence. If it went on to long...he swallowed. He looked at all of them, looking for any hint that any of them thought this was as bad as he did. Each of them seemed to be handling it in their own way. "For now that should saffice" Alacor said, tilting his head once more. "I will answer any questions you may have at this moment as I am able to....I will be assisting and moving things forward as the master sees fit in this little game of his..." With that he fell silent, and an eerie silence spread over the area for the time being. Who would be the first to speak?

With bared teeth, Neal growled. He was in no mood for such derogatory flaming. With a snuff, he turned and looked over at the woman he sought to be with. "Lexxi," he cooed to her sweetly, "are you okay? I was so worried when I awoke and you wer-" his comment was cut short when his eyes captured a man floating down from above. The protective boyfriend within him stepped forward and put some space between his beloved Lexxi and the man by the name of Alacor. As he spoke in riddles and twists, with hints of woe and worry, Neal found himself growing aggregated. Was this for real? Were they really just some pawns in a game of sorts. A game that would crown one person the winner and thus giving them a huge promotion. As if! It was far from a promotion. It was suicide! If only one winner could exist, Neal would have to mow everyone down and then take his own life. He refused to let Lexxi fall victim to such corrupt plans. Why, the other woman, Eleanor, didn't even register in Neal's mind anymore. No matter how alike she was to his Lexxi, Neal refused to let her get under her skin.

His mind toyed with him for a second. Visions flashed and words from his past with Lexxi surfaced. Was it possible? His orbs shot to the petite woman. Was this the sister Lexxi spoke of? Her name was Eleanor and Lexxi had been searching for her once. Of course, there was little sign that they would ever meet again. Let alone, there was no substance to what Lexxi used to say. Honestly, Neal thought she was making things up -- high on life or something. But now, if things were true and dimensions overlapped, anything was possible.

Jaw ajar, he tried to really piece together what was really happening. How could he though? There were too many holes and not enough details. Why him. Why her. Why all of these.

He counted everyone. One was missing. What did that mean? Did it mean Alacor was wrong? Was that why they were to fight to the death? Was that the reasoning why things became to twisted?

He panted, lightly, and turned a quivering lip to his woman. "I swear I'll get you out of this. Somehow. I hope...." With a gulp, he bit his lip before turning it back to Alacor. "Why not skip the questions and just begin whatever it is. I doubt your words will mean much to us anyway. You speak in illusions and with trickery. It's hard to discern the truth and fiction. It's hard to truly grasp what it is you say. So rather than using words, use action. Show us and explain to use that way."

Was he wrong to say all that? Was it wrong to want to move things along. Why wait and prolong the inevitable? Might was well get things rolling and start to begin this hellish quest. Grimacing behind gritted teeth, Neal's blue orbs landed back on Lexxi. Hand giving her a solid back rub, he sighed before casting his gaze on Eleanor. Just who was she. And why was fate so cruel if she was indeed Lexxi's long, lost sister.

It was all so strange, and to top it off there seemed to be a man walking on air, which was like.. in all sense of the phrase impossible. It got even stranger at that point when all of a sudden Destiny and Dorothy were in a white marbled room that resembled the one in their dream. And as soon as the ground disappeared below they both freaked out expecting to fall just like the dream.

Dorothy started feel abit whoozy as everyone started spinning around the man, which shortly happened after suddenly being "teleported" in a circle around the man who they know as Alacor. Dorothy's whoozy feeling didn't last long as soon they stopped.

The man seemed like a "get to the point" kind of guy, as indicated by him introducing everyone to each other, which was quite helpful. It put faces to names. It was all so... weird. What was Alacor talking about when he mention powers and being trapped in like some alternate world or tear or whatever he just said?

Destiny narrowed her eyes when Alacor mention eleven of them would not be walking up, was that some kind of death threat? And not only that if they decided not to kill anyone, the whole world back home would perish as will they sometime after eventually anyway.

Dorothy was filled with anxiety and fear with all the information Alacor had just given all twelve of them and she just couldn't handle it. It was almost like she breaking down on the inside. As for Destiny she wasn't faring any better but she wasnt afraid, she was... excited? "To be sure... by eliminate do you.. mean.. kill?"

The one man seemed keen on getting things going. That was good, there was no need to waste any more time than needed, but he had indeed said he would answer questions. He looked to the first female who seemed bold enough to speak up and ask something. Did he mean kill? He paused for a moment, seeing mixed feelings move across various faces. He nods lightly, "yes, by all of you existing, none of you will surpass the others and become the next god" he says. His eyes then turned to the man, "verywell, if there is nothing else you desire to know, and you wish for action, then there is only one last thning to say." He snapped, thee world arround them began returning to normal, the pieces of flooring they stood on lowered to the ground.

"You are not fully alone, there are three others who will be keeping an eye on all of you, as well as allowing to make things...interesting you might say" he says. "They follow the master's rule, but they are able to exersise more...involvement withe the current situation then I am at the moment as an observer." The park scene returned around them, he knew the other three were lurking around, waiting for their entrance. "You will come to know them as Chaos, Order and Balance.....their abilities far surpass your own, so it would be unwise to attempt to overcome one of them....I will allow them to introduce themselves however, and move things along."

Much had happened. One man lost his wits whereas others seemed to flourish in this new take on life. The woman below him seemed limited, not knowing that he was above her even despite her meek attempts to poke and pry for his being. It caused him to sign inwardly as he knew she was still nothing more than a pesky woman. She would still try to latch onto him despite his unfamiliarity with her. Who was she and why was she so needy? Why did she cling to him as if he were her shield? Her sword?

Before he could react, the ground changed and all that sheltered him fell apart. Exposed, he made not a move or motion. There was nothing but an empty expression on his face. Even his emerald eyes didn’t shine or show a speck of interest or intrigue. He truly was without emotions and conviction.

The man before them spoke, seemingly holding his audience, which kept the brunette’s eyes off him for a moment. It allowed him to scope out the others, heeding their announcer no attention or concern. He cared not what he stepped into for he knew his end goal was only one thing – to win.

The man from before seemed eager, oh so eager. A grimace rode on his face. This was an emotion that was reckless and would cause many problems down the road. Why was he so willing to jump into the unknown? Why was he so ready to put up his dukes and fight? He didn’t know his foes and he didn’t know what was in store for them all. It seemed irrational, foolish, and dare he say it – pathetic. Even a well-versed assassin such as he knew better than to leap into such scenarios without fully covering every detail and possible mishap. He studied his marks and he learned about his tools, his surrounding, and his limitations. This man, this feral man, seemed to overlook all those things and forgo their knowledge. He was limiting Nieko and this displeased him.

As the world fell back into place, Nieko found himself just beside the casting shadow from the tree he was once in. The thought never crossed his mind to move back into his tree, instead, he turned his head ever so slightly so he could gaze down at the woman he was now beside.

Eleanor,” he spoke in such a dry tone it made a desert’s drought seem moist.

He had a reason to speak to her. Right now, she seemed to know this other woman, the won with the wild-man. If he could use Eleanor to learn about these other two, that would give him the upper hand. Even against two, an upper hand was an upper hand.

A coy smile moved onto his face, tugging his pale pink lips up ever so slightly. Lips parting, he moved to speak, but found himself thrashing through the air. Arms mangled over a park bench and legs now twisting down past his head due to gravity’s pull, Nieko’s green orbs grew in narrow as he scoped out his attacker. Who dared kick him across the park!

A laugh came from behind him. It was right in his ear. And then there were these slender, cold fingers that gripped his jaw and a tongue that doused his neck. The feeling was euphoric, immediately arousing – yes even in the heat of danger. With a light moan, his lips pulled back into a widening grin.

Rroy, I don’t recall seeing your name on the list.”

The shadow around him vanished and then reappeared beside Destiny. He created a small cloud of black smoke that blew around her neck. As it shrunk, Destiny would feel as if her air was being cut off. It would be hard to breath until, of course, Rroy cut the smoke and allowed the woman to feel her breath again. If anything, Destiny might have presumed she was… drowning.

Stepping to Mobius‘s side, Rroy summoned a large, shadow-like dog monster. The monster was huge, looming, and exactly what Mobius feared. It’s teeth snapped at the boy, and Rroy could only laugh before moving onto his next victim. His favorite victim.

Eleanor.

His form vanished before reappearing behind her. Snatching her jaw, he moved his face so that it was perfectly parallel to hers. Red pupil-less orbs slipping to her person, his mouth opened as his vampire-like fangs became exposed.

“Miss me, my dear?”

Elise stumbled a bit but she didn't fall, and was surprised in her own right that she didn't scream. Instead she sat down on her knees, nervous more about the man than the void beneath. He was strange, his voice with a weird cadence to it. Not to mention you know, the whole killing thing. There were the others from the park and she had to look around them, an ache settling in her chest.

She recognized none of them. Which would make it easier on her in the end. She didn't want to hurt anyone but she had a duty back home, she had her brothers to take care of. They needed her. She wouldn't let anything bad come of them. That was her goal, her resolve, and it settled like a steal cage around her heart.

Friends would be made...but she would betray them if she must.

"How long do we have, here, until our worlds begin to die off?"

X

James, on the other hand, was a bit of a panic. He sat down immediately and hugged his knees, not risking the chance to fall from his little discus. He didn't want to be here, he wanted to go home. This was not a place meant for him. What kind of potential could he possibly have to be a fucking God? What happened to Zeus, did he retire?

He didn't think he had it in him to kill anyone.

Others were talking, asking questions. And he just kind of wanted to evaporate.

X

Mobius shifted a little and peeked over the edge of his discus, but otherwise wouldn't let himself stress. Either an illusion, or there was a safety net. If the twelve of them had been specially chosen for this, it was unlikely the Gamesmaster, whom he decided was the name of Mr. Levitate in the center there, would drop anyone out right. It didn't make sense in the scheme of things.

People began to talk and whisper. At least some knew each other. That was a good and bad thing, because loyalty was a horrible thing to try and break but in the end, it could happen. He didn't much like the idea of being a God, he'd enjoyed his quiet little life. But, dying, he liked that idea even less.

He had questions of course. But none that seemed pertinent and he had already figured out that, no, they don't have much of a choice. So his best bet was to understand whatever 'power' he'd been endowed with and go from there.

Lexxi was engrossed over the fact that the snappy woman before her appeared to resemble her sister so eerily well, not to mention the fact that it seemed the reacted to the name and she saw her name in the phone! All the pieces were piling up and it was becoming too much to be just a coincidence. Her focus on the woman was cut off as Neal began cooing over her as though she were his just found pet kitten. A small, almost helpless smile formed on her lips at the feel of his touch as she gripped one of his hands within her own. Her eyes were on his hand for a moment and when she looked up, she saw his attention was somewhere else.

Turning around, she saw the male floating above them and a breath caught in her throat; she wasn't sure how to react to this. Then again, there wasn't much time to react anyway as the male snapped his fingers and they were all pulled towards him. The woman looked wide-eyed around the group as he spoke. Hear the names, she tried to follow the male's gaze and when she heard the name of her sister, her hands instantly snapped over her mouth as her eyes started tearing as they moved to look at the brown haired woman that seemed mostly disinterested in what was going on. Her sister was really there, after years of searching, they were finally reunited. The look that Eleanor gave Lexxi was one of confusion and slight repulsion though that didn't break her stride. She knew her sister was alive and there so she could get things really moving from that point on.

Though when the man started talking about powers and the game, it was then she started to become worried. Out of everything she was hearing the thing that stuck with her the most was the fact that the sister she just found, she would have to kill, be killed by, or one would have to watch the other die? Lexxi's arms fell numbly to her side as she just stared at the guy, Alacor, the male introduced himself as, pretty much destroyed the dreams that she had about finally seeing her sister again. Her eyes jumped across the others around them to see how they reacted, though it seemed like none too it as hard as she. Lexxi was not a fighter, she never had been. She just wanted good to happen and to find her long lost sister.

Without thinking, her hand reached out and grabbed Neal's hand. She wasn't sure how to process it all. Even as she looked at the male as he spoke to her, her brow furrowed. She knew his promises were empty; she knew her combat skills was low and saw herself as being one of the first to be plucked off. All she knew was she didn't want Eleanor to die; her sister had been through far too much to let her life end now. Even if these weren't the circumstances that she would have wanted to have met her under.

Eleanor didn't seem quite as concerned through the whole ordeal; the 'magic' of being pulled all together stunned the woman for a moment, but she couldn't have been full surprised after everything else in her life. The thing that she noted of most was the male standing beside her; she had been more concerned over seeing him again than the woman that she had bumped into early. Was she curious as to why she knew her name? Well of course, but her main concern was finding Nieko once again. She was about to whisper something to the male that seemed to be ignoring her when she heard her last name called once again. Head snapping up, she looked about the group until her eyes landed on the dark haired female that looked like she was crying. Brows furrowing, Eleanor gave the woman a look of slight disgust before adverting her eyes back to Alacor.

Great, she thought to herself with a scowl as she thought about what was going on. The twelve of them were to fight one another, eliminating each other until only one remained. Her eyes narrowed her eyes slightly as she looked about the group, a bored expression being played on her face though she could feel her heart beating wildly with Nieko being beside her. The others didn't seem like anything much, but she had to catch herself from doubting others because Nieko didn't look like he would be much of a threat either. Perhaps if she just left the group things would be easier.

When the male beside her finally said her name, she turned to look at him, her eyes wide and expecting. He was quiet at first and before he could say anymore, he went flying across the park. She took a large step to get to him, but the rest of her pace halted as she saw the shadows taking shape. The reaction from the brunette told Eleanor all she needed to know about the person that was making his appearance. As she watched the male disappear and reappear, she held fast, her breathing low as she tried to keep from being noticed.

When a massive shadow dog appeared in front of one of the others and Rroy left it there to start moving away, she knew that trying not to be noticed was for pointless. When he disappeared all of a sudden, Eleanor sucked in a breath, her eyes closing as though she were willing away a nightmare. That nightmare though, was soon before her, she could feel the heat of his body, much more so as he snatched her chin in his hand. When she felt the grip he had on her, her olive colored eyes snapped open as she swallowed hard. "Who would miss you," she spat at him, though the fear in her eyes was as evident that day as it had been the first time she met the male.

When the strange male suddenly appeared in front of her sister, Lexxi could just tell that the woman was scared, though one would not have normally noticed it. She had her sisterly-senses to thank for that. Her eyes jumped over to Neal for a moment, he would not approve if she were to step in. At the same time, it wasn't like she could just let Eleanor be tormented by the male and it didn't look like anyone else was stepping up to help her. She looked at Neal once more before starting to make her way across the park to reach her sister and as she did, a bright white light pierced through the sky.

A white, cloud-like fog started wrapping around the darker male's wrist as the bright white light filled the park that the group stood in. "Chaos," a voice seemed to echo as more of the fog started gathering. "It is not time to start tormenting those being tested." The voice sounded more solid this time and as silence settled once again, the fog seemed to explodes into white feathers that disappeared as they hit the ground. A pale woman in a pale grey ballerina's outfit and long silver hair stared with pupil-less pale eyes at the taller male, her face void of emotion as he scolded the seemingly terrifying male.

The light intensified only for a moment longer to disperse of the hound made of shadows that the male seemed to forget he had made. "Release the child," she spoke, her voice calm as her pale blue eyes flicked over to Eleanor. Though the brunette was not considered a child, in terms of age difference, she had quite a ways to go to catch up to she or Chaos.

A smirk played out on Rroy's lips as he took Eleanor's wrath. Oh he had riled this one up good. Too bad her eyes said it all. He could drink in her fear for years. And, if given the chance, he would. Sadly, it appeared that others were very interested in stopping him. The one woman, nearly identical to Eleanor, was the first to break her stance. Ah, the sister. His lips curled up more.

For a brief moment, his world paused as he gaze shifted to Nieko who looked more brokenhearted than heroic. Odd, why is he not jumping to protect his- Rroy's thoughts were cut-short when a blinding light came from above. Had he been more prone to reacting, he might have hissed at Order came down to him. Instead, Rroy merely turned his gaze away and matched the dull looking angel's expression -- nothingness.

"Why would I ever dream of hurting my favorite toy?" His hold on Eleanor fell and he moved to place a hand on his hip. A rather gay move, if he could say so himself, but it was just a part of his charm. He was all about being a contradiction and confusing people. Besides, Rroy always had a dramatic flair for he was one for boisterous gestures, grand entrances, and dazzling magic tricks. As his hands rest on his hips, they drummed up and down, a sign of angst or annoyance. "Have you come to scold me? Or take me away?" One moment Rroy was there and the next he was gone. Every time he vanished, a dying cloud of smoke would dance among the air. Its form would twist and turn, eventually collapsing into itself and vanishing completely. When he reappeared, this time beside his opposite, there would be no sign of his moments until he was fully there. No shadows clawed at him as he appeared either -- it seemed to be something that only appeared when he left, though there's no solid evidence to back this up.

He sighed, before his attention moved across the way to the other faces. They were all so bleak looking, so sad and miserable. His red orbs seemed to soften, just some, as he felt for them. There was a time, long ago, where he hadn't been so cruel at dark. Sure, the chaos laid dormant in him, but it wasn't brought on until he truly experienced pain, suffering, lose, and death. He could vividly recall those days were he was happier and prone to fear. The days were he didn't want to taint his hands with blood. Those days he dreaded death. And now? Now? Heh, it was hardly something to worry a lip over. He had killed many, some with remorse, but most with pride and joy. There was just something about killing that really pleased him. Was it the way the body split? The way the blood splattered? Or was it the screaming cries as he tore someone limb from limb?

His expression darkened again.

It was the fear. He loved the fear. The sheer look of panic that flashed in the eyes of his victims. They all had one thing in common. After pleading and just before he took their life, their minds would replay their guilt and remorse in life. Rroy enjoyed watching that movie and seeing how people justified their own death while they were consumed with fear. It was beautiful, that act of selflessness before the fall. Sometimes, if the guilt they bore was too much, too strong, Rroy would weep as those were the most beautiful of deaths. The deaths that truly made chaos worth creating.

His smile faded as he turned toward Alacor and shrugged lightly. "If you don't require my presence anymore, I'll be going. I have things to destroy and chaos to create." Depending on Alacor's response, Chaos would either linger longer or vanish in a cloud of smoke that looked, felt, and sounded just like a nuke being dropped on a small town. Its blast was strong enough to cause everyone to lose their footing and it probably burned the throats.

"Tisk Tisk....that is no way to talk to our guests dear Rroy" sitting on top of a light ple that hung over the park, a man looked down at them. His yellow green eyes a stark contrast against black hair that faded to violet at the tips. That was merely the beginning of his quite colorful outfit. In an instant, he vanished from where he sat with his legs crossed, appearing behind the other. He wrapped his arms around the darker male's middrift, nuzzling him lightly. "You're so kawaii when you're being evil" he chuckled, turning to look at the others. He promptly removed his hat, giving an elaborate bow to the onlookers. "A pleasure to meet you, a pleasure indeed" he chuckled, replacing his hat, "Destro at your service."

As he did so and Alacor gave the nod, he watched the Chaos embodiment vanish in his little explosion. Clapping, it was merely a breeze to him. "Quite the showman" he laughed. He had been watching the events unfold since the beginning, but he was very good at keeping himself unnoticed. His eyes moving to one player after another. He knew them each quite well. He had done quite a bit of digging himself, while the planning and gathering for this game was going. He sighed slightly though, Rrory was quite keen on having most of the fun for now. Being the one to keep balance and neutral, he could not lean to much either way...or...he was not supposed to.

He turned to look at Order, moving to her. "My my dear, as stunning as ever" he lifted her hand, kissing it gently. "I do hope your darker counterpart has not been giving you to much of a headache" he flashed another striking smile. Turning to Alacor, he gave the white haired male a nod. "Polaris will be quite pleased how things are going...though he will be even more happy when things get up and running" his smile darkened a bit, "to be blunt...it's party time!" He laughed. Alacor who had not been phased either by Rroy's little show remained silent as Balance made his own little entrance. He was much more of the showman in Alacor's mind, but he let it slide with merely a light smile.

When the other spoke up to him about Polaris he nodded a bit, glancing at the others as they got back up upon their feet. "The first challnege is already loose....so you are free to handle and begin the game as you desire" with that, he lifted off the ground once more. Yuki sat up slowly, a hand moving to rub the back of his head. His mind was reeling a bit from all of this, unable to really focus on to much of it for one moment at a time. That guy..and then the woman? Now this one in the crazy outfit. His heart was racing, his ears ringing a bit. Yuno sat up on her knees, glaring coldly at the sight of where the man had been. She then turned her gaze to the others who were standing there. Yuki for a moment was a bit surprised at the look within her eye. He had never seen it before. What was going to happen to them?

Nieko, still failing to reclaim his footing, finally managed to unmangle himself from the bench he was so forcefully shoved into. Head spinning some, the male clenched his teeth before sliding his way back across the earth. Despite his best attempts, Nieko ultimately ended up next to Eleanor. Even though he loathed the woman, she was the most stable out of the group.

"The first challenge?" Nieko's brow rose as he tried to discern what the man meant. "I presume we're to know nothing about our challenge and just 'wing it.'" He wasn't asking questions, merely stating in annoyance that he disliked such games.

Hand dropping to his hips, the brunette with the black tattoo across his face smirked. "So we don't need weapons or shields. Is this some sort of mental or emotional challenge? Or," he paused to allow his eyes to scope the area out, "a test of speed?"

Nieko was more or less talking aloud to himself now. With so little to work with, it was hard to truly know what to do. As far as he could tell, it didn't look like anything had really started. He saw no flames, hordes of zombies, or probing aliens. Granted, who was to say any of these things were what their tests entailed. Perhaps each test was a test of wits and survival.

"Well," he said reaching for his back, "I guess I can just kill you all now and be done with this nonsense."

A silenced pistol, now pointed at Eleanor, came from behind the male. It was sleek and beautiful, but soiled with blood of past victims.

"Any last words, mortal."

Nieko, being a rather capable man, presumed that the game masters would step in if his actions were out of line or considered breaking the rules. Perhaps, with his sudden desire to assassinate all the players, something would happen and the challenge would become plainly obvious. Until then, he would just threaten and terminate until the riddles were answered and the questions of doubt were gone.

The second the gun appeared, Neal's sanity vanished. Shoving Lexxi from harm's way (read: behind him), the feral man growled at Nieko. "Two can play this game, pretty boy."

This was not good, not good at all. Yuki looked between the two pairs who seemed to be on the verge of knocking eachother's heads off at this point. Yuno glared at them, she did not mind if they took eachother out to be honest, the less people around, the less threats there were. A growl however stopped their thoughts. Yuki turned his attention towards the gates, where a huge dog stood. It would not have looked so out of place, had it not been for the replaced jowels of the beast. They were made of metal now, sharp and definitely looked like they could easily slice someone appart.

Yuno tensed, as the dog raised its head, letting loose a loud howl that mad the others have to cover their ears a bit. In the distance, more barking arose, and it was getting louder. "Yuki!" Yuno grabbed his hand, immediatly giving him a tug to pull him along. He glanced back, to see the others scattering as well. Staying out in the open with a bunch of dogs that could possibly be like the one they had seen would be foolish. Yuno tugged him along towards a house, trying the knob and being thankful that it opened. Jerking him inside, she slammed it and locked it. Yuki backed away, staring at the door.

"D-dogs? Really?" it was a bit random but at the same time for their first challenge, he supposed it was more simply about weeding out the weak. Made him swallow, they would most likely only get worse... Yuno had moved away already, searching through the closest rooms for a kitchen. Finding one, she began to rummage around within the drawers. Yuki glanced over from where he stood, what was she doing? His eyes caught a flash in the light though, as she pulled something from the drawer. A large butcher knife, her eyes on it. "Y-Yuno?" he looked at her. She looked at it a moment longer, before she turned to look at him.

"Don't worry Yuki, I'll protect you" she moved back out, grabbing his hand. Pulling him upstairs, she began looking for something more. Those men had given her an idea. In the master bedroom, sure enough she found it. A handgun. Yuki's eyes moved from the gun, to the blade on the bed, to Yuno. This was crazy. She couldn't be serious....she didn't expect him to... "Here Yuki" she took his hand, placing the gun into it. He froze, looking at the weapon within his hand. Yuno looking at him, could see his body freeze up, the confusion and fear in his eyes. She wanted to make it all better, but she also wanted to protect him. Her hand moved over his, causing him to look up at her.

She gave a smile, dispite her own inner turmoil. "You don't have to use it Yuki, I'll be there to protect you" she said. For now, they could have stayed there, they could have hidden out and let the dogs weed out the others. But then again, they were dogs. Already, Yuki could hear barking in the distance. Yuno picked up her knife, her eyes taking on an intense look. "We need to find somewhere safer Yuki" she said. Someplace she could have a better vantage point, and keep an eye on things easier. Taking his hand, she pulled him from the room. "Wait...you don't honestly mean we're going...out there again?" he asked.

She said nothing, opening the front door. Yuki swallowed, as she stuck her head out looking both ways. "Come on Yuki" she said, before making a move out the door. He could have stood there forever, frozen in place. Closed and locked the door, and hoped this all went away. But...His eyes followed Yuno. She turned back, waving at him. He swallowed, closing his eyes for a moment. He found himself running, following her down the street. They were moving away from the park and towards...he did not know where. After a bit however, Yuno began to slow her pace. She moved back beside him, her eyes moving from side to side with a frown on her face.

Yuki soon began to pick up on it to, the sound of growling and paws. He swallowed, looking around to see flashes of forms along the buildings. A growl to the right, and suddenly a dog was leaping out at them. Yuno placed herself between Yuki and the dog, slashing out with her knife. There was a yelp, and the dog fell. It was not alone though, as more began to emerge from the spots between buildings. Yuki stepped back, as Yuno moved forward head long into danger. How...how could she do that? So easily go face the rabid beasts? She acted like she wasn't even afraid at all, like this was just another day. He clenched his hands, and felt something within.

The gun...She had given him the gun from before. He glanced at her, and noted something she did not seem to notice herself yet. A large dog was moving up behind her. She was focused on the ones before her, on protecting him. He swallowed, no.....she...he couldn't let her die. She was trying to protect him. Even in this hell that had just sprung up around them, she was acting calm and collected. She was looking after him, when he felt like he was more on the verge of a break down. No. Yuno. The gun went off.

Both Destiny and Dorothy were mildly confused with the first challenge, what were they suppose to do? Was the challenge in the park or somewhere else outside of the park among the ruins of the city they once knew only just yesterday it seems like.

Destiny was taken back when guns were pulled out. There was no way in hell she was going to stay here, henceforth she took off running, hoping no one would shoot her. She stopped in her tracks when she heard a howl where she first entered the park. Craning her neck she saw a ghastly huge dog with metal jowls. Her heart immediately jumped up into her throat and Destiny began shaking. There definitely was no way she'd stay here now. She needed to get to high ground, dogs can't climb and even if they jumped they would reach the top. Destiny was no tree climber but that didn't stop her one bit as she chose the nearest tree and began climbing as best as she could. Barely out of reach of a dog that suddenly lunged at where she just was. Frustrated it growled and circled the tree before it jumped up at her and scratched her leg. Destiny let out a yelp as she climbed higher into the tree.

Dorothy took a step back when a fellow pulled a gun out, she didn't know what to do. She noticed one of the girls took off running. But Dorothy was rooted in place by fear, with seemingly no where to go and nothing to do to stop what seemed like the inevitable. Even the gun wasn't pointed at her, it still didn't stop the fear that said otherwise. A eerie loud howl that sounded off in the distance made Dorothy cover her ears. Turning her head to see, her orbs locked onto a vicious looking dog. All of a sudden the fear that rooted her there was taken over by fight or flight. With nothing to combat the metal jawed dog, she chose to run. And run she did, but where to? Two people ran into a house, one girl climbed a tree. Which seemed safer? Atleast in a house there may be weapons but a tree? Nothing.

Dorothy took off to find a house of her own and when she found it there was a dog guarding the door. Dumbstruck she stared at it, wondering how it knew she wanted to go in. That's when she heard nails hitting onto pavement behind her. Dorothy barely had time to jump out of the way when it lunged for her face. Dorothy fall on the ground but wasted no time in getting up. She was no track star, so she knew she had to keep her running to a minimum. Not knowing what to do, she almost gave up until the dog by the door started circling her with the other dog. She had a chance, albeit a small one, but a chance. Dorothy ran away from the door, and just like she thought the dogs run at her, but she quickly changed direction and ran for the door at full sprint speed with her shoulder outwards. Boy was this going to hurt and she hoped it break the door open. And hurt it did. The door flung open, and Dorothy fell on the floor. She looked down towards the entrance and saw the dogs sprinting towards her. Dorothy had broke the door down so she had no chance in locking it but she could close the door so she could run up the stairs into a room.

Dorothy kicked the door closed, got up holding her left shoulder and ran up the stairs. She was in so much pain, as she ran up the stair she thought she'd faint and then that would be the end of her. She ran into the first room she saw which was a bedroom and locked the door behind her.
