Feeling the anxiety coming from outside the tent, the same she had felt rush by when she was entering, the little sprite decided to follow Adira. She mainly wanted to see what the feeling was about, and to try and help if at all possible.

The sight she found was rather hectic to her eyes, one boy being calmed by so many, while three onlookers watched. She walked near to the faun, who was covered in a sense of fear, and looked at him carefully, why had she missed him when he first ran by? She let the thought leave quickly as she looked to the obviously different visitors.

A soft, soothing giggle left her lips as she put the puzzle together. It was clear the three who held to each other were causing the unease, but that they had no feelings of malice towards anyone around. Seeing the misunderstandings that must have happened, she giggled again before quieting down to figure out what to do.

Since she hadn't met any of these people before, she felt no right to interfere with what was going on. Her only wish at the moment was that she could help to calm down the poor boy who felt so terrified. She hadn't noticed her wings spread as she focused her attention to how she could help, subconsciously rising from the ground to give him space when she realized she would be of no help at the moment with so many others around him.

She now looked to the visitors, a pair of twins and a fox lady. They seemed to be innocent enough at the moment, although she could tell they weren't always this way, and only showed emotions that wanted to help another. She knew that feeling well, as it had been a goal of her life for decades now.

Zella listened to the ringmaster as he gave his input on her ideas. She had been treated like a freak at her village for so long, that it hadn't occurred to her that she wouldn't be treated like that for having her powers here; it was an oversight. She was slightly happy to see the grin on the ringmaster's face as he mentioned the moving targets. Any challenge that he decided to put forward, she knew she would be able to rise up to it.

She nodded as he said he had to leave. "Thank you for your time, ringmaster," she said. "I am sorry to have bothered you." She wondered at his last sentence. The ringmaster was... a strange man, to say the least.

Her attention turned to Freja. "Thank you very much," she said. "And I'm sorry, I should have introduced myself earlier. My name is Zella." She attempted to smile at the doll and sipped her tea.

Chen looked on curiously at the girl, and then finally chuckled and somehow managed to catch the wrench from the metal animal's mouth before it scampered off. He held out the tool to her.

"That's a mighty interesting pet you have my dear," he said jovially. "You must be tired from all that struggling. Would you like to come in and rest awhile before heading back?"

He hoped she would accept. It wasn't like he was lonely or anything; he actually preferred the solitude. But it was nice to have visitors once in a while.

The Scry was persistent, refusing to move away from the spot in front of him. Bel frowned, what was up with the book. His eyes moved back past its form, to the approaching form of the others. At the same time, a female moved to the faun boy, attempting to speak to him. She was not familiar to him, must be someone new. Normally, he would have been one of the first to attempt to greet someone new and welcome them, but at the moment, there seemed to be more going on. Asha had been speaking, telling him that she was alright, something with that not sitting well with him either. The next moment though, she was also moving to the faun boy's side attempting to help him.

Bel tried to take another step forward, but the Scry once more moved in the way it seemed instant on him not getting any closer. In fact, it seemed to be trying to push him back. He had had enough of it when the other asked for his assistance. He could not turn his back on someone who needed his help. Even if it was dangerous for him. Plucking the book from the sky, he shoved it into the bag at his side. Moving forward, he nodded to Asha about helping. It was then that the ringmaster showed up. Bel paused in his movements, allowing her instead to get close to the other. She told him that it was alright, that the visitors were not apparently going to harm them. From the way she spoke, it was not hard to tell that she was familiar with their guests.

Then again, from the studies he had done on the circus, it was not hard to believe. His eyes moved back to the trio for a moment. The twins speaking to the woman between them, he still could not shake the worsening feeling within him. The Scry glowed in the bag by his side, fidgeting around clearly wanting out. He was going to get an ear full from it later about all of this. Seems the situation had already gained the attention of a small band of their people. "Perhaps it would be better to move all of this in a more....agreeable position?" he said, rather than bluntly out in the middle of the circus. Whatever the three were here for, he doubted they would want to speak either way out in the open where all could hear. Unless they were the bold kind.

There were those who did things such as that on purpose to invoke a response. Already, he could feel the odd sense coming off of them getting stronger as they got closer. For some reason, instead of making him more on edge, at the moment, it seemed to be draining him a bit. He had slept well last night, been up early as usual and had not done much yet today. Perhaps it would be better though to get a slight nap in before the events of the night. If the ringmaster did not need their assistance or asked them to leave, that would be his plan. There was a large tree on the edge of the circus grounds that was perfect for napping under. Then again, part of him wondered how he could think of relaxing at this moment? If the ringleader trusted these people though, then he had no reason not to. He trusted her judgement.

Quote:
[Cole's status: Visible to Bel, Asha, and the visiting dark circus group (always visible only to Adi, Euriphium, Skry, and Rosie); memorable to Adira, Euriphuim. Potentially memorable to the visiting group as well - your discretion.]

SPOILERX

Quote:
"Visible" = seen, but unremembered. If you see Cole, he's like a fragment of a dream. Usually you can't see him unless there's a specific reason for your attention to focus on him. Ex: He's moving objects around or speaking with someone else.

"Memorable" = Unless you have spoken to me about a specific allowance, you will not remember past conversations, past meetings, nor seeing him. You will not remember Cole's name, nor his face. It's like meeting someone new - again, and again.

If I've spoken to you about it, then some of you can able to recall his name, his appearance, or a quality about him. Some lucky few may even harbor brief, shallow memories of Cole.

The moment he saw Asha, Cole allowed himself to be wrapped in the woman's arms. Her warmth was preferable to the strange splintered thoughts trying to claw their way into his mind. Ears flattening, the faun shuddered and did his best not to jab Asha with his antlers as he rubbed his face against her. Soon, there was very little space (if any) between them. He was on the verge of a meltdown. Nothing he said was making much sense.

Hearing Kat's name from Asha's lips made Cole shiver lightly again. Kat. She was the eyes and ears of the other circus - or at least one pair. Every one of the visiting trio reminded him of his time with the dark folk. It hadn't been a long time, but it had been enough to make associations to his mother's disappearance. Anything that reminded him of that day nearly four years prior.

"Adi," Cole whispered as Asha and Bel watched the approaching trio. It seemed that Asha had the same idea. She mentioned finding the ringleader, and Cole struggled to keep himself from losing it completely. The youth's silver eyes were wide, his gaze like that of a frightened deer. It was a fitting expression, oddly.

So many strange things had happened already ... and it wasn't even lunch time. Cole hummed unhappily, but managed to walk with the acrobat as she walked with him. The faun's logical thoughts were scattered and difficult to obtain. As the twins had thought of Cole's "broken mind," it had been an accurate description. Were they right? Was he a light version of them? Cole wasn't pleased with the impression.

A second warmth suddenly joined Asha's. The familiar dusty scent of Euriphium's fur caught the wind, but did little to stem Cole's panic. The small creature continued to whisper strange scattered strings, half of them seemed to describe the inner workings of the trio while others were complete gibberish. As Euriphium leaned against Asha and Cole, the faun made a soft sound of distress. His hand immediately tangled in the panther's fur, and the faun's colorless gaze immediately sought the ringleader he knew to be close behind.

When Adira approached them, Cole tried to make sense of what she was saying. His instinctual mind did nothing but scream at him to run and hide, despite how good the newcomers were acting thus far. He tried to say he would be fine, but only a few strings of nonsense left his lips. "Always hungry for something they can't see, never able to reach it," Cole took a shuddering breath, but didn't reach for the ringleader as he wanted to. "I-I'm alright." He knew, somewhere in that animal mind of his, that she was needed to keep the peace. This event wasn't a bad one - just a visitation. And part of Cole knew that, but he couldn't be calmed. The screaming hiss of unfamiliar thoughts and memories returning were too much for the youth to push aside and stand in silence.

His arms wrapped around Asha as though seeking comfort, and for a moment his gaze lingered on Bel. He saw how the other male seemed ... pained. Something about that nearly disquieted Cole once again. He stared at the blond male for a while before finally forcing his eyes to close. He heard Asha whisper a few things, and by the time Adira seemed ready to confront the visitors he had at least stopped whispering. Perhaps it was because he was listening.

Cole focused on his breathing. In. Out. It became easier to do once he listened to Asha's breath and tried to match it's rhythm. As he finally began to calm, the short male's eyes flickered open to rest on Jasmine. She ... had wings. Blinking, Cole tried to focus on the wings that drifted about the sprite as she lifted from the ground. They reminded him of the warm feathered wings that Asha had wrapped about him. With so many people here, there was no reason to fear the dark visitors.

He seemed less volatile, and slowly stopped his trembling. Cole would listen, and keep himself from running off to hide.

Claudia finished her tea, and listened patiently for the Ringmaster and Zella to have their conversation. It felt like it was getting close to show time. Claudia still had to change and get to the big top in time.
Once the Ringmaster dismissed them, the dolle turned to Zella. "Well there you are. Do you feel confident about your act now? Oh thank you Freja." Claudia gave a polite tilt of her head to the other dolle, as she tidied up. How she envied the other dolles larger and much more capable body.

"If you'll excuse me Zella, I need to go to my tent to start getting ready. I would recommend going to the big top to figure out the best placement for your props, and to make sure the prop master knows how you want things set up." She gave the new girl an-hopefully-encouraging smile, before gingerly making her way to the ground. "Good luck Zella. Come see me if you have any questions. Freja, again thank you for the lovely tea, and please thank the Master for me, for taking up his time." She bowed her head, and started heading out of the tent.

There was a small smile on the woman's face at Nexus's reaction. An answer, as Faylinn figured it, could be found in any context, it just depends on the answer you are truly looking for. She did not move after him as he neared the door and offered his invitation. Was she free later? The wisp could not say at this point in time, it would all depend on the later show. If she were free, would she visit him? Maybe, even that she was not sure of.

The pale woman stayed within the darkness for a little while longer, just feeling the world around her. Though it did not seem as though much were happening, the energy in the area was relatively high. Faylinn couldn't tell if this meant that there were others on the way or not. Spirits were not always the predictable sort; just because energy is high doesn't mean they will show and just because energy is low doesn't mean they will not show themselves.

Faylinn could hear chatter outside the far end of the tent, clearly it did not take Nex long to find his next target. It never did though, he seemed to frequent many people, but still enjoy his own company at the same time. At least, the man never appeared to be desperate for company like some of the others.

Rather than following the way the male had left, the Wisp, who seemed to prefer solidarity, took the exit closer to herself. Shortly after greeting the bright day once again, a familiar sound pricked the woman's ears. She turned towards a set tent and slowly made her way over, as she drew near, the music grew louder.

Not being one accustom to human manners when approaching another's area, Faylinn slowly pulled back the flap to Klaus's tent. Once inside, she let it close behind her, her eyes falling to his sister as she just listened, watching the two.

Klaus had always been one of those of interest to the small wisp. She had this feeling that she needed to lead him and his sister, though they never sought her out. She simply watched as the male seemed into the sweet melody he was producing.

Music continued to fill the air. He had noticed the change in lighting for a moment as the tent was entered, though he chose not to let it suddenly stop his song. He moved the bow over the strings, allowing the vibrations to produce the desired notes. It was calming and enjoyable. Not only to those who listened, but he as well. Finally, the song reached an ending, to which he let the last not resonate. Lifting away the bow, he lowered the instrument to his side. His attention finally turned then to the one who had graced them with their presence. He was not to surprised to see the Wisp there. She had a tendency to pop up at times, even around them. "Greetings miss" he gave a light bow, before turning to place the instrument within its case for the moment. He did not wish to be rude, for it seemed the female desired to talk.

His sister had inclined her head politely, the actions almost second nature to Klaus now. He did not really even have to think about them. At times, it almost did feel as if she was her own person....almost. Turning back to their guest, he gave her a light but warm smile. "It has been a bit since we last had the pleasure of meeting.." he knew she was one to drift from here to there in the wake of the ever shifting energies and lives of the circus. At the same time though, he was aware of her interest within him. Truthfully she was a spirit guider, just as truthfully he was a spirit. One who did not belong in this world any longer since his original body had been damaged. Hence why such things as it took to create him as he was now...were a taboo. He was something that could be seen as bad from either side of the veil, depending on how one looked at it.

At times he had wondered what the female before them had seen when she looked at him through her eyes. Though speaking with her at times could be like speaking to Nex. Riddles and mystery. He did not mind it, he was not judging. He knew certain things could not be simply spoken about so easily. He gently moved a hand towards one of the seats within the tent. "If you desire" he said, knowing at times some preferred to stand instead. As for him, he did remain standing for the moment. His sister not moving from her position. There was not really a need to at the moment. He was curious as to if this was a simple visit or something more. Either way, he would be his normal gentleman self and allow her the politeness and kindness he dealt everyone.

Faylinn watched the show in peace, not finding any reason to speak up over the music. The song played through her very being, it was something that spirits seemed to connect with; music was a great way to bring about emotion and though she had not returned to her world in sometime, the Wisp was very much the same in that regard. The peaceful melody was calming to the fire spirit, it put her at ease.

As the music came to an end, Faylinn's seemingly lifeless eyes fell to the male as he greeted her. She said nothing, only lifting the edges of her skirt, bending her knees, tilting her head towards his sister as she did the same to her. The behaviors of the two never seemed to surprise the wisp, then again she dealt with those that did not really belong on a daily basis. These two, they had no interest in heeding the call of the other world and the Wisp had long since given up on encouraging them over.

She lowered her head in thanks for the offering of a seat, taking him up on the offer, her body moved slowly and gracefully as she sat down. In continued silence, she ran her pale hands over the fabric of her dress, smooth the silky material, removing any creases that had formed from the moment. Once satisfied, she folded her hands on her lap, her eyes down for a little while longer.

"I do believe thanks are in order," her other worldly voice softly spoke as her dull eyes rolled up to look at the male. After a moment, her gaze fell to his sister for it was usually when they were together that the male played. Her eyes then fell on the male again. "The spirits greatly enjoyed your music early this morning. They were able to move on in peace."

While Faylinn's actions weren't questioned, those of their circus had learned of what the woman did long ago. Though, even with that, she only openly spoke of such things around those that she knew would understand her words. Those with a grasp of the spirit world mainly.

The wisp was silent as she moved to the chair. Klaus did not force a conversation, silence was alright with him if need be. However, she finally did speak, thanking him and speaking of his music being pleasing to those passing on. He watched her for a moment, now it was his time to be silent for a moment in thought. He gave a light nod however after a moment to the comment. "No thanks is needed...especially to me" he said, his eyes on her still. "If my music is able to help anyone...that is a pleasure that speaks for itself..." he did not need to be thanked for anything, part of it his more humble nature. Part of it being he understood well the balances between the world...as well as how some felt the agony and pain that could come in death more than others. His father having been one of them when he had passed. Punishment for what he had done. Punishment for keeping Klaus tethered to this world.

Perhaps it was punishment for Klaus as well in some way....retribution to tell him that he indeed was no longer welcome here. Then again the troubles that came with being in this state as well could possibly be that way as well. One could look at his situation in so many ways if they desired. Would they feel pity for him? Disgust or hatred? Either way, it changed nothing. Klaus gently took his sister's hand, lifting her to her feet, an elegant movement to watch. Though one would not expect it from such a body as theirs. He had long since mastered the stiffer form of a puppet's body. It was not as bad anymore. If anything, many would say he had more grace and fluency in this body than many had in their normal forms. It made him chuckle a bit, for he found the beauty in his situation, but it was often in others that concepts like that were lost.

Turning to their guest, he allowed his sister to move across the room to put the instrument away in the cabinet with the others. "Is something on your mind this morning?" he asked her, "or is my music what drew you in as well?" Either way was alright, if she had sought him for more of a reason than his talent with the strings or not. He was thankful for the company. Being one of the calmer and quieter members of this darkness, he was often one of the more overlooked when the energies of the circus were more hectic in nature. He was used to it and content with his place. No need to force himself to the lime light. At times it followed him. What would happen would happen if it was meant to be right? He found that thought amusing in nature.

Destiny...fate...things happening for a reason. His father had thought similarly in nature for much of his life. Perhaps that was what made some of all of this ironic. No need to linger on such things right now however right? His sister walked back over, taking her place by his side. Her hand gently moving to rest upon his shoulder, his body close. Even this held an elegance. There was nothing romantic or sexual about it, and yet it held a simple intimacy that would fall on deaf ears with most others. A bond and connection few could see or understand. Perhaps part of him was crazy...for his closeness and attachment to something that was a mere puppet. But then again, so was he in a sense.

A light musical laugh came from the Kitsune as the twins grew more excited. She made sure to keep them close to her, knowing well they would get into trouble if she were to let go of them. “Yes, I believe you might be right. Now you two need to be good my loves. We are in their territory now not ours.” Katrina gave them a gentle warning.

Seeing Asha she smiled, it seemed that the fallen one was doing well. The other male she did not recognize, he must be one of the newer members. He looked like an interesting fellow. Perhaps she would get a chance to meet him later. A soft sigh left her lips as she looked at her companions. “Possibly. Lady Adira shall be here soon.”

Soon Adira had joined the others. The woman gave the other female a nod in greeting. “Good day Lady Adira.” Katrina had stopped about halfway between the outskirts of the circus and where the groups of light circus members stood. She didn’t wish to cause too much of a ruckus. “Sorry for the intrusion, but we have a request Lady Adira. May we speak somewhere in private?” Katrina’s tone was light and gentle as she spoke, explaining why they had come.

Forcing her tears away Adira looked at her sweet Cole. He was miserable and she couldn’t help him for she had to speak with the trio to see what they wanted. It was times like this she hated being the ringmaster. She was in charge of so much and was often overwhelmed but she would never ever show it to anyone. Only Midori knew when she was.

When Katrina spoke she raised her gaze to them and nodded. Yes they would go somewhere private, she was curious about the request.

Still pained she reached out and cupped Cole’s face in her hands. Even though he said he was alright she knew it wasn’t the truth. Her eyes glanced at Asha and she silently begged the woman to keep an eye on him for her. “I’ll come to you after I’ve finished talking to them ok? Euriphuim will stay with you.” She looked at Asha and spoke softly to her. “If something happens send Euriphuim for me and I’ll come right away.” Leaning forward she pressed a kiss on Cole’s head and dropped her hands.

Before heading over to the three from the dark she stopped next to Bel. Her hand reached out and smoothed his hair down. “You’re tired, take a nap for me yes?” With a soft smile she patted his cheek and walked over to Kat and the twins. She had missed them terribly but she was a little apprehensive now.

The twins were softly crying so she reached out and touched their faces. “My darling girls there is no need for you to cry. All is well.” Smiling at Kat she motioned with her chin for them to follow her. In silence she led them to a supply tent and walked inside. “So what is this request you wanted to ask?”

Once Adira came into view the twins squealed and started to bounce on their toes. But they soon calmed because even their twisted minds could understand that they were having issues. Tears crept up in their eyes and scales rippled over their bodies. Both of them leaned up against Kat and softly hissed, the naga way of crying.

Adira finally came over to them and told them not to cry. Instantly their tears dried up and they giggled when she touched their faces. Quiet now they followed with Kat and entered the tent after Adira.

“We wanted to ask if you can create a magic car for Claudia. She has such a hard time walking from tent to tent and we wanted to do something nice for her. Claudy is nice to us no matter what we do. Well unless we step on her or hit her with our tails. But we haven’t done that in a really really long time.” Their whole speech was said lightning quick, Adira almost didn’t catch everything. “Could you? Please please please please please!”

Now they were bouncing on their toes once more, hands folded under their chins and angel smiles on their faces. At Adira’s nod they let out screeches that were painful to the ears.

The request was a simple one and quite thoughtful so she nodded her consent. The ringleader winced at their screeches and tried to calm them down. Once they were somewhat calm she searched the supply tent. Who knew it would be the perfect place to meet with them in? After looking around for a minute she spotted what she wanted. Grabbing a small red and silver car off the shelf she brought it over and set in on the floor.

Snapping her fingers a tomb appeared before her face and she flicked through the pages. “Ahh here we go,” she said after she found the right page. Raising her hands, palms up she whispered the incantation. A soft blue smoke bled from her hands and covered the car. Once the incantation was done the smoke disappeared. “There you go, one car that works off magic. It should work for 10 years and after that I simply have to repeat the process.” Smiling she looked at the three. The twins were crouched down by the car studying it. “How have you been Katrina?”

The fallen angel let the faun cling to her as tightly as he needed to. Her arms stayed around him as she had started to lead him away. Soon Euriphium was rubbing against them both before leaning against them. Asha was grateful to the panther that had come to help. Glancing at Cole she frowned. Most of what he was saying still made little sense, if any.

Things seemed to slowly be getting under control as Adira approached, ready to take care of the situation. For a moment things seemed off with Bel, but her thoughts were pulled away from the blonde by the arms of the faun wrapping around her. Asha rubbed her cheek against the male’s cheek. She continued to whisper softly. “It’s going to be fine. Adira is here and will take care of everything.”

She gave Adira a light nod in response to the look the ringleader gave her. “I will, just leave him to me for now Sis.” With a smile she looked back to Cole. His trembling was finally dying.

Now that the faun seemed to be calming her wings unwrapped from around them to fold behind her. It was no longer a need for her to shield him as she had done earlier. The dark circus folk were only here to see Adira with a request. This was something that happened from time to time, though it had been curious that Katrina was one of the ones to come this time.

The fallen angel’s attention stayed on the male who still clung to her. To help him focus on something other than the visitors who went off with the ringleader she started to hum softly. The tune was soft, gentle and happy. Something to left his spirit and cause any bad thoughts he was still having to hopefully melt away.

After a little bit the silver haired woman’s humming stopped. “Feeling better? Would you like to go back to your tent or somewhere?” There was still concern in her crimson eyes as she looked to Cole. Almost this entire time she had been petting the panther that was still leaning against them.

Bel was focused, but at the same time he was a bit distracted by the exhaustion within him. Adria was helping the faun boy, who seemed to be calming down a bit. For that, Bel was glad to see. Asha had been asked to keep an eye on him, so he would not be alone. It was a good idea to probably keep him with someone for now. She then approached the other's, pausing for a moment before him. Her hand attempting to smooth his hair, but he knew that it wouls not stay like that for long. His hair usually like that. She had noticed that he was tired, telling him that he should take a nap for her. She brushed his cheek, before moving on.

He nodded to her before she did, in confermation that he would indeed try to relax and take a break. The trio had confirmed his earlier suspicions that they wished to talk within private. They were moving off on their own now. Asha seemed to have the faun under control, the others seeming to be coming down from the partial high of the moment. Excusing himself, he turned away from the group, heading off towards the tree that had been tempting him before. His thoughts a bit upon the two women with the other, the twins. The feelings that they had given him, putting him on edge, his senses hightened.

He had been through something of the like before. He had had a run in with a naga before. One had come to the temple seeking power. They had caught sense of what Bel was, his power and more. They had wanted it for themselves. Those tasked with the job of protecting him and the temple had done their best. Several had been killed within the attack. The memories within the events still gave him nightmares. He felt beyond responsible, even though they had reassured him that they were alright. He could not shake the memories or the feelings within his past. He had worked on overcoming them, not allowing them to keep defining him and overpowering him. He had thought he was over them, until now.

Taking a breath, he ran a hand through his hair to fix it a bit, a habit. The Scry glowed in his bag, he let it out from the confines. "I'm fine, I know you're worried, so go look if you want..." he said. The book hovered a bit, as if a bit unsure. He gave the book a smile, before heading to the all to tempting tree. The scry then moved off, tempted by the darkness darkening the area. It did not trust them, would be happier with them gone. Bel sat down below the tree, leaning his back against it. He leaned his head back against the trunk, slipping his bag off to sit beside him. His body able to relax, it felt good to do so. He crossed his arms lightly over his waist, getting comfortable.

He could already feel himself drifting off, relaxing and allowing his mind to push away the thoughts clouding his mind. Soon his mind slipped to the dream world, he could see himself within the circus. Everyone there, going about their business and training. It was a calm and nice dream. They were smiling and laughing, having fun. He relaxed more in his sleep as a result. It was a plesant dream, he himself within it playing his flute, the music light and giving a carefree air to the dream. However, it would not last. A flock of clouds slowly began to roll in, the sky turningg black in nature.

Bel paused within the dream, frowing a bit. All the others had vanished, he was alone now. He suddenly found himself standing in the middle of the circus, his eyes scanning the area. The ground began to shake, causing his footing to stumble a bit. He turned as a casm began to open within the ground. A wave of what looked like lava spewed forth from the opening, shooting into the air. After it died down, the air had a scent of decay and darkness about it. The hair upon the back of Bel's neck stood up. From it, a massive black paw rose. It dwarfed the tents around it. A second paw lifted up, landing next to the other. As they made contact with the ground, it shook once more.

Bel took a step back, as the paws pushed against the earth. From the gaping casm, two large snouts appeared, followed by the massive shoulders and back of the two headed beast Bel knew all to well. "Orthros..." he breathed. The eyes of the two heads opened, pure white in nature. The two heads began to lift their jowls in a snarrel. As they did, cracks began to form across the black fur of their body. They spread, opening up and began to glow a dark orange shifting to white and yellow at times. As their form awakened, their outer appearance looked more like a living volcano in the shape of a two headed dog. Their skin shifting and moving like magma. The paws shifted, slamming down on either side of Bel.

He raised an arm, shielding himself as a massive wave of hot air and dust blew past him. Next from the casm came the all to familiar chains. Those that were meant to imprison Orthros, keep his power and form bound and under control. They swirled around the necks of the beast, sliding down its paws and back. A large lock like object with a seal similar to the one upon Bel's back formed upon the center of its chest. Lowering its heads, it growled within Bel's direction. He stood up straight, he could not show fear or doubt in the face of one who fed off of such negative emotions. "You are not welcome here..." he said. Orthros paused for a moment, then seemed to actually chuckle. The left head nudging him with its snout.

"Foolish boy...." the right head lifting a bit, "in the physical world we are bound by the limits of our imprisonment..." The left head lifting a bit itself then, "but here within your mind and dreams....the power is ours." Bel glared a bit, "it does not matter what you do here, it is only a dream....not real." The two heads laughed, "for now..." the left said, "but soon this containment will not be enough" the right finished. A series of cracks spread out from the casm. Around him, many of the tents began to catch on fire and burn. Bel turned to look at the scene, the land turning black and charred. Trees twisting and darkening, losing their leaves. It was turning into a land of decay and chaos within his mind.

The two heads slinked and lowered to a position on either side of him. "Only a matter of time" the left whispered. "Before their lives become ours" the right head whispered soon after. His eyes moved to the side, where the other members of the circus stood. All of them there, looked for a moment like they had before. Seconds later, the ground was cracking below them, shifting and moving. Beings made of what looked like fire and magma reached up from the cracks, grabbing ahold of them. The smell of burning flesh became all to apparent to Bel. He could hear their screams and calls as they were being pulled into the earth.

"No!" Bel said, "leave them alone!" He stepped forward but froze, from the casm smaller versions of the chains that bound Orthros shot out. They wrapped around Bel's arms and his legs, pulling him back closer and closer towards the massive beast. "We are one" the left head said. "You are us now and we are you" the right said soon after. Bel glared, "I am nothing like you." "Arn't you?" the right head asked. Bel found himself moments later standing over another casm, looking down into the depths of it. Within a pool of magma and flame below, the forms of the others were being pulled under by the figures, like they were being pulled under water.

Orthros had vanished for the moment, but the world still in shambles and decaying. The others looking up at him, he could hear calls of 'why' and 'how could you' directed at him. He looked down to his hands, the chains still upon him, but upon his hands was something red. He froze, before taking a step back. No...this was a nightmare, a ploy by Orthros to get into his head. Revenge for his earlier resistance and comments. He could not let them win, he could not let it get to him. "No.....I wont let you win....I wont let you hurt them!" on the living side within the real world, his body temperature would be rising. From his form, a darker and more chaotic energy would be given off due to the nightmare and the pull of Orthros. Not enough to break the beast free, it would not be sensed by most of the light currently.

Chance was unaware that Midori was getting flickers of some of his previous dark acts from his past. The last thing he wanted the fortuneteller to see was how he lost control to something that was far darker, something that caused him to kill his tribe. It was to late, for she had already seen bits and pieces.

It was killing him, he need to stay in this shape, to stay in control but he was failing, which was made clear by the fact that he was now nine foot tall instead of his natural six foot seven inches. His ears shifted until they were round like a bear's, he even had the tail to match them. His amber eyes became more red as he turned them onto her once more, having recognized the fact that she had said his name even if he had registered it a bit to late.

"Midori....for your safety....leave! he growled at her before he snarled the last word to her, as he gained a muzzle. He really was trying to protect her from himself, to make sure that she was protected for the younger shifter. He would have preferred if Adira was there, after all she knew just what to do to make this subside. He had no clue how she was able to do it, maybe it was Adria's motherly personality.

He growled at her once more, wiping the blood from his mouth, standing up to the full height that he now held. If she was not going to leave, then he was going to, to find someplace else that he would be able to basically fur out with out harming anyone. "Fine....I am leaving." though before he could even reach the entrance to the tent, he jerked. Falling forward onto rather large paws, his skin ripped before leaving him with jet black fur. He was no longer in a human form, he was now in what most shape shifters would recognize as a demon bear. After all this was the form that he had killed his tribe with.

He did not know that Midori would recognize this form from his bits of broken memory that she had gathered from him.

Faylinn slowly nodded as the male spoke about not needing thanks. She then watched the two as they moved about the tent. The spiritual part of them was evident in the way that they moved, at least to the wisp. Even though she no longer actively sought to send the two, a part of her wondered what kept them tied to this world. It was merely a thought though, for Faylinn didn't hold many emotions that were normal for a human. Even emotions such as curiosity did not seem to relate to her. There were times she wondered what it would be like to hold normal human emotions. Even in his state, Klaus seemed to have maintained much of his emotion, though it was subtle and not overly flashy. Was it due to his once-human being? This was beyond Faylinn's knowledge.

As the female began to move with the instrument, Faylinn simply watched her. It would be difficult to tell that she was a puppet, for a lack of better word. As Klaus began speaking once again, the Wisp's dull eyes fell to the male. "Your music has a way of calling to the soul," her voice echoed. "Though I may not have been actively seeking you out, it did indeed reach out to me." The woman's head nodded, slowly and whimsically in agreement to what she was saying.

The woman's image seemed to flicker, her appearance going a transparent blue for just a moment. "Perhaps your abilities lie within your music?" Though she asked the question, it was not something she was really seeking an answer too. Though usually quiet, it was not uncommon for the Wisp to verbally question. Whatever the male's abilities were and how he did it were really none of Faylinn's concern. Thus far he had been quite the aid for the woman, if that had changed and he became harmful, she would be forced to act and regardless to them being a part of the same circus, she would act on behalf of her responsibilities.

The woman was then silent again, though even more than that, she seemed to not be within the tent anymore. "Your skills may be needed again," she said, her voice echoing more than it had before. She was feeling the energies of the world around the area. Her attention then seemed to come together suddenly as her eyes locked on the male. "There has been a meeting," she said. "I sense something dark," her brows furrowed as she tried to understand what the energies were telling her. It was difficult to move from there, there was not intense conflict, it was just undertones in the energies of the world, but they were bitter.

The tones were light, distant so that this darkness wasn't all that nearby. The taste did not sit well wish the Wisp. She then slowly stood up, not going into anymore detail as she said, "Forgive me, but I must excuse myself." Before Klaus would have a chance to question what was happening, Faylinn's form vanished, leaving a floating orb of blue fire before the male. That orb then took off out of the tent, in search of this bitter taste. Even with the activities of the circus, a soul as dark as this was not common and in fact, Faylinn could not recall a time when she felt such a presence.

Kat sighed, her eyes growing a bit sad as she looked at the Naga twins. They had been so excited and now they were crying. “It’s alright my loves.” The woman cooed to them, trying to comfort them as Adira approached. Of course the ringleader of light always had a way with the twins that no one else did. No sooner had the women told them not to cry that they stopped.

The Kitsune gave the other woman a smile. She was glad that their request would be heard. Once in the tent she let the twins explain things to Adira. She chuckled at them. They were speaking so quickly and were so excited.

At the twins screeches Kat let go of their hands, instantly covering her ears as she winced. They were going to be ringing for a while of that the woman was certain. It was a good thing that the ringleader was there to calm the Naga down. While waited to regain her hearing Adira worked her magic, creating a car for Codette.

With the twins preoccupied by the car the Kitsune looked to Adira. “I have been well. How have you been Lady Adira?” She had a gentle smile. She missed the woman more than she cared to admit along with some of the others who had followed her. Her place wasn’t within the light though.

“Asha looked well. It seems things are good here. I’m glad.” Katrina wanted to inquire about things, but figured it was best not to. She knew well that Piper wouldn’t be happy that she risked bringing the twins here even if their intentions were good. That was if he found out.

-----------------------------

As usual the raven was stubborn. Continuing to plead with the shifter while she still fought against the fragments of his past and feelings. He was where he needed to be, he didn’t need to worry with protecting her. “Why are all shifters so damn hard headed,” she breathed as placed herself within his path once again. “I won’t.” Midori repeated as Chance growled and snarled again telling her to leave.

The situation was becoming more complicated to say the least. For once the fortuneteller didn’t want to believe that she couldn’t help someone. More words and curses were mumbled beneath her breath as she grew more frustrated. “You can’t leave this tent!” The woman growled back at Chance.

As the male shifted again, this time into the form of a demon bear she stepped back slightly before moving to block the tent entrance. Growling she glared at him. One of Adira’s dressers materialized behind her totally blocking the entrance as the inner tent flaps closed. At this point her body was trembling, not from fear as most would think. No instead she was fighting to keep control of herself.

Midori’s hand clutched into a fist as she stared at the shifter before her. Before she spoke again she took a deep breath. “I’ll leave, but you must say here Chance. If you don’t you won’t like what happens. I know you don’t want to hurt anyone.” Frustration washed over her features as she sighed in defeat. “Lady Adira will be here soon. She’s who you wanted to see anyway.”

A flicker of one of Chance’s memories caused her to flinch. Even if she didn’t want to leave, wanted to help him now wasn’t the time. Midori gave him a defeated look before moving to leave. Just before she stepped outside of the tent the illusion she used to hide her scars was back in place.

“Eventually you won’t be able to run from it anymore. You’ll have to face it.” It was unclear who she was speaking to as she walked away. Maybe she would check on some of the others. Or perhaps meet with Jasmine, the raven had yet to introduce herself to the new comer.

Zella thanked Claudia for the advice and watched the dolle leave. She finally finished up her tea, thanked Freja for the hospitality and left the ringmaster's tent. She decided that she too, would have to practice for her act. She had been throwing knives into random things in her tent, just to see if she could control it well enough. Turned out she could.

She reached her practice tent, where she had set up a makeshift target board out of some wooden planks that she'd found in some corner of the circus. She would have to get a proper one soon, so that she could practice properly.

She looked at the target board for a moment and made it levitate a few feet off the floor. Then the target began flying back and forth, and Zella had to concentrate hard to make sure the knife landed right in the middle, and keep the target moving as well. She practiced without stopping.

Chance snarled at her, he didn't want to be the reason for Ciran's pain if something happened to her. The young shifter was part of the reason tat he stuck around the circus to begin with. To be honest, at that moment he just wanted to rip her throat out and decorate he tent with her insides. He was doing a very good job of controlling himself. Maybe the fortuneteller could help him, save him, but sadly at this point he knew that she could not do a thing for him.

He rolled his eyes as he tried to lumber out of the tent, to get past her just get away from her. There was no way that she was going to keep him in a place that he wished to leave. Sadly he also knew that if he touched anything, like moving the dress out of the way that he would most likely destroy it. Heck Midori was rather lucky that he was able to control himself, at this point he was even tempted to get killed off to solve this issue that plagues him.

He watched Midori closely as she moved about the tent, he could smell the anger and power on her, but it only made him want to dominate her even more. Not in a good way. He gave a deep growl as he watched the female leave. He would have talked to her but it would have just been him protesting her presence. To be honest her words of her trying to get him to stay was only making him want to leave even more.

Though when she had left, the defeat on her face, the bit of sadness at not being able to help him, just gave him the best feeling at that point in time. Truthfully he was just having negative feelings turn into more of sick twisted feelings that would not exactly appropriate for he light circus. He desperately needed Adira, which was made clear as he paced back and forth, leaving claw marks in the floor.

The seer's last word had struck him as he sat down, hanging his head as he thought over them, sighing heavily. He wasn't running from what he was or his past. He was in fact hiding from it, he believed that it was completely different. He huffed before laying his head on the leader's bed, not wanting to think about his past or the evilness that he was now.
