Katerina frowned angrily again. "I'm not lying," she said, giving her arm a tug. Blood was starting to run down the man's abdomen, and it caught her attention. She glanced down at it, and felt bad. But the feeling quickly passed. He'd tried to attack her!

Still, Katerina hadn't come here to hurt anyone, and she had. She glanced up at him. He was watching the vampire closely, as if he wanted to help, but as any good dog would, would wait for a command. He was only protecting the other. She really couldn't blame him for that. In fact, she still really only blamed the vampire. He was the one who'd purposely been antagonizing the whole situation.

"Here," she said finally, reaching up to push against the cloth herself. "This is soaked," she said. "It isn't even helping now." She wiped her hand on her pants and gently pulled her own arm. "I'm just going to get a towel, okay?" She had a look of sincerity, and she was being sincere.

Katerina had no intention of lying, and this man clearly needed some help. Who wouldn't after being shot in the chest? And once again, she couldn't stop that nagging feeling that it hadn't really been his fault. Plus, she'd finally found what she'd been searching for all these years. She couldn't just run away. Not now.

Nate felt the tickle of something at his neck, sharp and prickly and wet. Teeth. The man was either very mouthy or a vampire. He immediately twisted his head away, intent on keeping his neck away. He had had a vampire's teeth in his flesh before. It was not a sensation he wished to repeat.

But he couldn't move his arms. Bell-boy had an almost unnatural strength to him considering his smaller size. So, with a grunt and a yell, he used the only weapon he had; his head.

He began to buck his head, slamming it into his opponent's as hard and as often as he could. A ringing followed each hit, but the buzzing had gotten louder. It didn't even drown it out.

Spots started rushing through his vision, explosions of light with each violent jerk of his head. He twisted his chest as well, hoping to disorient and throw the man off him, release that unnatural grip.

A few flies had gathered on a nearby wall, a few on the opposite, moving in jerky patterns.

If only the man in his arms would stop squirming and thrashing about, Bell could get a good bite. A nice taste of that life blood. He growled lightly as that man's thrashing about cause their heads to collide. More than once. This was becoming extremely annoying, not to mention it hurt. After a few moments of all that frantic struggling Bell had to let go of that man. It was becoming to difficult and too painful to hang on to him. So he released him and moved back, raising a hand to rub at his face for a moment. Rubbing at his nose, and then his forehead. "Tch. Get out of my house!" Bell sounded very annoyed, and very angry, but he was tired of dealing with this person, but his eyes stayed on the man, and Bell was ready to react if the other continued to attack.

Red had growled softly, almost half heartedly at her when she said she wasn't lying. He didn't fully believe her, that was clear. His hand around her arm tightened slightly as she tried to pull away, and when she reached to press her other hand against the cloth he held, Red gave a warning growl. Then she was pulling at her arm again, and Red stared at her intently for a moment. He stared at her, then gave a lingering look towards Bell and the man he was fighting. A sigh passed Red's lips and he pulled the woman into the kitchen.

She did mention a towel and there were towels in the kitchen, as well as Red's dinner still laying on the floor. It would start to stink soon. The vargulf frowned deeply, and reluctantly released her arm. "Is very bad if you runaway. No escaping." His tone was dangerous, but it was clear the blood loss was taking a toll on him. He sank down into the nearest chair, using both hands to press that soaked cloth against his chest. He still didn't understand why the wounds were still bleeding.

They'd walked into the kitchen before he released her. She didn't make any sudden movements, only glancing back over her shoulder out the doorway at the two in the hall. Neither of them were human. They couldn't be. She was sure the purple-haired one was a vampire. But the other? Well, there was a chance she owed that one her life.

Katerina returned her attention to the red-haired man in the kitchen. He'd moved to sit down. She moved to find a towel. "I don't want to," she responded finding a towel easily and returning to him. "I've been looking for, beings," she said gently, "like you, for a long time." She knelt enough to reach the wounds better.

She hadn't come here to hurt anyone either, yet she had. She wondered how antiseptics and such would work on those non-human. For now, she only had a clean towel. She pressed it against the wounds with both hands, and she wasn't gentle about it. But it was important to stop the bleeding. For the most part, she tried to ignore the deer laying in the floor, as best she could.

Bell-boy's arms were suddenly off him, releasing him to fall to the ground as the other moved away. There was the mumble of words. Nate swore he heard the word leave.

He got up, stumbling on his feet, disorientated and head pounding. His eyes focused on the other and he move, lunging forward as if to continue. But he stopped, dead in his tracks.

He stood there, breathing as he stared at nothing before turning his head toward the wall. Toward the gathering of flies. He was silent then, watching them before sniffing loudly.

"Fine...whatever..." he mumbled, looking away and toward the kitchen. "Don't care...ghh...sorry....I guess..."

He turned away, mumbling under his breath in nonsensical sounds, only to stop midway and stare at the flies again. With a loud and angry cry he flung himself at the wall, slamming his shoulder into the structure and scattering the annoying insects, killing only a few.

When they had gone on their way and pushed himself off the wall and began to trudge down the hallway, continuing to mumble under his breath. Something about flies.

Bell's body tensed, and he prepared himself as the man lunged towards him. Then that man stopped. Bell just blinked at him, watching the odd man as he stared at some flies on the wall. Bell wasn't sure if their fight was going to continue or not, then the man turned toward the flies and..well..attacked them. The vampire's head tilted to the side slightly as he watched the other man begin to move on down the hallway while mumbling to himself. Bell came to the obvious conclusion, this man was insane.

It didn't matter, he had more important things to take care of. Red no longer stood in the hallway with that woman, and he could still smell the strong scent of werewolf blood. His nose wrinkled slightly, his eyes narrowed a bit, and he moved. Making his way quickly and easily towards the kitchen. He was a vampire, and in a hurry, so he used that lovely speed of his to reach the kitchen in mere moments. To a human it might seem as if he had just suddenly appeared there, next to Red's chair. A hand coming down to pat the vargulf on the top of the head gently.

When Red spoke to him, Bell's expression turned murderous and his attention was on the human pressing the towel against his pet. "Silver bullets? You shot him with silver bullets?!" It was more accusation than question. Bell snarled, his hand withdrawing from the top of Red's head. "Get out of the way, human." He spat the word 'human' with such intense bitterness and he moved towards her. To physically push her out of the way if she didn't move, so he could inspect the wounds himself.

Red had watched her, his head tilted to the side a bit. She didn't want to run away? That didn't make much sense to him. Prey always wanted to run away from it's predators. "Why?" He questioned almost softly, sounding a bit tired. A low grunt left him as she pressed the new, clean towel against his chest. He had grimaced lightly, but didn't pull away. His eyes were on her, watching her, some part of him wanted her to try to escape. So he could chase her, run her down like a deer. He licked his lips.

Before she could answer his question, Bell had appeared. Red had heard him approaching, that sound of bells tinkling in the air, revealing his every movement. When that hand landed on his head, he glanced up at the vampire and gave a soft whine. He was happy Bell didn't seem injured from the fight, the vampire had most likely won. At least, Red assumed Bell won. "Is not healing." He spoke the words quietly to Bell, in a slightly confused tone.

'Insane' was an appropriate word, though it was not entirely accurate. Nate is confused. He doesn't not know what to trust and what is real. To him, the flies aren't. They're figments, darting shadows that taunt and annoy him.

To him, he is alone and the flies his reminder.

He said he would leave this place. Told bell-boy he'd go and that'd be that. But he never made it to the door. No. His headache became too much, the pounding and ringing of his skull giving way to pressure and a grogginess.

He stumbled, slipped, physically slurred his way down the hallways. A concussion. He must have given himself a concussion.

Nate snorted lightly at the thought, pushing off an old wall for the fifth time in a row. Only to fall to the other side, shoulder banging against the sturdy structure as he groaned, sliding down until he was sitting there, leaning heavily against the wall with his knees pulled into his chest, hands clutching at his throbbing head.

He shouldn't fall asleep. Several health classes in high school (so many too many and now he knows why) and a first aid class in college taught him that. But...he was tired. And it wasn't like there was really anyone around who cared enough to keep him awake (left that back in the house bloody broken face peeled back like a banana slicked with gore that man sounded so proud so proud why did he sound so proud how DARE he sound so PROUD) so it wasn't like he would be able to keep himself conscious or to help when he did wake up.

A sick smile played over his lips, a cracking chuckle escaping his throat.

Maybe, if he was lucky, he wouldn't wake up at all.

Nate's eyelids finally slumped closed.

((Sorry for the delay! I'm in the midst of thinking up another character for le play, too. Any suggestions on gender and role?))

Katerina had been pressing the towel against the red-haired man's chest, when he spoke. She'd been about to respond, thinking he was talking to her, when the vampire startled her by yelling. She hadn't known he'd come back. He was so quiet to her ears.

"I-," she started to explain, but he cut her off, and then she was being shoved out of the way. Her butt hit the counters behind her and she frowned. She pushed off of them, waving the rag at the vampire. "What else would I have brought for protection?" she said angrily. "It was your fault anyway!" she shouted.

She'd taken steps back in their direction, not really realizing it in her anger. She'd still help, if she could. The purple haired vampire didn't scare her. Well, he did, but not while she was so angry. Katerina didn't exactly have all the patients in the world. For a moment, she wondered where the man had gone, who'd intervened earlier. She hoped she wouldn't find his body in the hall later....

"My fault?!" Bell turned that murderous, accusing glare on her so very quickly. "I'm not the one that pulled the trigger, it's hardly my fault!" All the blame in Bell's eyes belonged to the woman. She was the one with the gun, she was the one that had loaded silver bullets and she was the one that had pulled the trigger. Clearly, this was all her fault. He gave her a warning snarl, warning her not to come any closer, and then he was on his knees next to Red's chair. A hand resting on each of the vargulf's thighs and he leaned towards Red's chest, tilting his head back to look up at him. "This is gonna sting, a lot, 'kay Red?" Bell's tone had instantly gone soft, almost tender even as he spoke to the vargulf. He wouldn't do anything further without consent from Red.

Red blinked as the two argued, no it was definitely the woman's fault in his mind as well. Though it didn't matter. She was prey, and prey often fought back to not be eaten, it was rather simple. Though he understood why Bell was so furious, Red would have been so furious too if it had been Bell that got injured. "Silver is bad." It was all he said as the tossed blame from one to the other before Bell knelt next to him, leaning towards his abdomen and looking up at him. When Bell spoke, Red nodded slightly, uncertain but certainly trusting the vampire without a doubt. His body had tensed slightly, Bell could feel it beneath is hands.

With Red's consent Bell leaned all the way in, his tongue slipping out from his lips to lick at the blood that oozed around the wound and then the wound itself. Bell grimaced, almost gagged even at the taste of were blood, then he bit down hard on the tip of his own tongue, making it bleed before he licked the wounds again. The pain in Red's chest was intense, but bearable. It burned and ached almost worse than the silver bullets had, once the vampire blood touched his skin. But the wounds began to close up almost immediately. Red grimaced, his jaws clenched tight to keep from whimpering.

Bell stood, wiping his mouth with the back of one hand and looking as if he'd be sick to his stomach for a few moments. His other hand pat the top of Red's head. "Good boy, Red. Good wolf." Those eyes turned to the woman. "Still here? Get out before I decide to let Red eat you, you've caused enough damage for one day."

((just gonna hop right in. sorry if it's a bit lengthy, i promise they'll get shorter after the intro of my character ))

Rose

Standing at 5'8 with a slender figure and a pale complexion, Rose is usually seen as feminine and dainty. However, she is a vampire, and like most vampires, she can be downright frightening when she chooses to be. She is only 228 years old, and is considered quite young for a vampire. Her dusty blonde hair is usually in a fancy updo on top of her head, and can be found adorned with flowers of various types. Rose stumbled upon Castel Nosferatu after receiving news of it from an acquaintance, who had claimed that it was like a safehaven for supernatural creatures like her. She can often be found tending to the flowers in the garden, making sure the house is tidy, and in general taking care of the other supernatural residents of Castel Nosferatu.

- - - - - -

Rose awoke from her peaceful slumber, flinging the sheets of her bed away from her and reluctantly getting up off of the warmth that was her bed and onto the cold floor. The ruckus and noise of a shouting match going on downstairs in the kitchen slammed into her ears. Her eyebrows creased in a look of disapproval. A disagreement was expected every now and then in a house full of supernatural creatures, but good lord they were loud going about it. The last time a fight had taken place, it had been between a demonic spirit and a poltergeist over how correct the depiction of ghosts was in some silly human television show called "Ghostblasters" or something like that. As expected, that didn't end up well in the slightest. Rose ended up cleaning that section of the house for two weeks straight after that incident, and she was not looking forward to a repeat.

As she walked over to the bathroom and washed her face from the groggy veil of sleep, she could hear the ringing of Bell's movements coming from downstairs. She ignored the frantic nature of his bell ringing, since she had gotten used to the constant ringing of bells long ago, and turned the sink off. Then she noticed that something wasn't quite right. A scent of a human. There was a human in the house. "What the...?" Rose quickly wiped the remnants of water droplets off of her face with a towel and threw it back on the counter of the sink. She did not have time for this crap. The vampire checked her face in the mirror before spinning around, hitting off the lights and running out of her room.

Once out in the hall, she could pick up a conversation coming from the kitchen. She could now sense more clearly that the human she had picked up on before was there, along with a few residents of Castel Nosferatu. There was a lot of yelling going on. Something about protection and guns? "Oh!" Rose gasped as the scent of blood hit her head-on. It wasn't the human's blood, though, it was one of the supernatural beings. She ran down the stairs, and made her way towards the kitchen. Rose walked briskly, her faded red dress fluttering behind her. She eventually came across a body in the hall. Stopping for a second, Rose kneeled down and shook the male. It seemed to have no affect on him, so she stopped and frowned. Was he dead? Exactly what had transpired in the house while she was in a deep sleep? She put her hand on his neck to check for a pulse, and found a faint one. He would be dead soon, if nobody helped him.

The sound of more yelling came from the kitchen, and Rose dashed off in that direction, anxious to see what was going on. Upon her arrival in the kitchen, the first thing that caught her eye was the massive pool of blood on the ground. Her first thought was that it was going to be a pain to get off of the floor, but her gaze moved to the silver bullets on the floor, then to Red, who was whimpering in pain, to the human, and then to Bell. From this scene alone, she was able to partially piece together what had happened. The human came across the home of many supernatural beings, and something had gone wrong in the process. "Um....?" She spoke uncertainly, not sure if she were to trust the human or to be ready to kill her. "Is something going on here?"

((It was great! I'm so glad to have more players! Cupcake and I were both thinking about adding more characters ourselves!))

Katerina's blood was boiling. The purple haired vampire was a stress on her nerves. And there wasn't any arguing with him, the damn hot-head. Though, she was one to talk. She imagined shooting him with silver bullets, and felt slightly better, though only momentarily. Katerina hadn't come here intending to harm anyone. Once again, it was all the vampire's fault.

Then, completely catching Katerina off guard, he knelt before the injured one and began licking at the wound. Katerina's face paled and she tried to keep from gagging. She knew what vampires were, but this was just, too much... Yet, she couldn't look away. This is what she'd come here for after all, to learn the creatures that lived here.

The vampire noticed she was staring, probably, and demanded that she leave, by threatening her again of course. Who was he to tell her what to do anyway!? She was getting angry again, but something interrupted her train of angry thoughts and she turned to see a female standing in the doorway of the kitchen.

Was this woman of supernatural descent, too? Katerina nodded her response and gestured to Red. "I shot him," she said, expressionless about it at the moment. "With silver bullets," she added. Katerina had thought that was supposed to kill a werewolf or vampire, but apparently it didn't. Part of her was glad it hadn't. She hadn't wanted to hurt anyone. At least it kept her from getting made into lunch.

By this time, the deer in the middle of the kitchen was beginning to stink, and with all that blood licking going on, Katerina's stomach turned. Her face was still pale, but she was still trying to answer the woman, and explain what had happened. "He tried to attack me," she finally added. "And he instigated it," she said, gesturing to the vampire. The jerk.

Katerina assumed that this must be why humans and vampires don't get along. Their temperaments were out of control. She really hoped not to find that all supernaturals were like him. There had to be friendly ones out there, right?

Rose listened intently as the human explained the whole ordeal, and nodded understandingly as she talked. Just great. There had been a conflict, and the result was Red lying on the floor in a puddle of his own blood while Bell tried to heal him. Sometimes the supernatural beings could get a bit out of hand. They weren't exactly experienced with human contact, and many were a bit fiesty, annoyed...angry, even, when talking to humans because they didn't understand humans very well. From her experience, though, Bell had an extensive knowledge how humans and usually liked to toy with them. He only got worked up when something happened to Red. After all, those two shared a pretty deep bond.

The vampire shuffled into the kitchen and opened up one of the overhead cupboards, and grabbed a plain white mug. Besides the cups in the cupboard and the large stock of human drinks in the refrigerator, the rest of the pantry was embarrassingly empty. Half of the residents of Castel Nosferatu had no need for human food, and the other half survived on fresh meat and blood. They even hadn't bothered to stock the kitchen with human food to create a facade just in case someone accidentally stumbled in, which was probably a mistake on Rose's part since she was essentially in charge of all the supplies for the supernaturals. Very few of them could pass off as human, and Rose was sent out every one or two months to get the essentials, like toothpaste, shampoo, and toilet paper.

Rose shut the cupboard quickly, hoping that the human didn't notice how empty everything was. It would be way too obvious what they were...if she hadn't figured it out already. "Oh yeah," She suddenly remembered the guy out in the hallway, barely alive. She looked at Bell. "There's some guy in the hallway that's about to die. The insane one that lingers around here a lot." Rose brewed herself some coffee, and turned around to be hit in the face with a disgusting odor.

She covered her nose and made a face. What was that smell? Walking over from her spot in the doorway to the source of the smell, Rose found the mangled carcass of a deer laying limply on the linoleum. Knowing that the werewolf would probably finish it later, she stepped over it and walked towards Red. Bell was still busy tending to his companion's wound, and the werewolf looked like he was in pain. "Are you ok?" She asked, a concerned look on her face. Rose knew that Red was a good person inside, but sometimes his instincts got out of control.

Hearing the human blame Bell for initiating the situation, Rose sighed. "I assure you, we're usually a friendly bunch." Oh wait, that's right. She was a human. Rose wondered how she had gotten to the castle in the first place. Did she stumble across it looking for help, or was she actively seeking supernatural creatures? The vampire decided not to ask, just in case the human was a hunter of some sort. A bullet or two in the chest was not high on the list of Rose's priorities.

After all, she didn't want to be rude. Vampires tended to play around with humans either before they killed them or let them go, so that was probably what Bell had done. With her arms crossed, Rose glanced at Bell and gave him an exasperated look. She was used to blood, but the sight of him licking the vargulf's bullet wounds was pretty sickening, even for her. "You didn't to play with her, did you?"

Bell was to concerned with Red to pay much attention to Rose, at least, at first. Then that human woman was spouting nonsense. As if he had instigated anything. Red would be fine though, the wounds were closing, and quickly at that. "I didn't instigate a damn thing. She instigated it.." He pointed an accusing finger at the human. "..By walking in here with SILVER bullets. You're so lucky you missed his heart. Besides, if he hadn't thought you might harm me, he wouldn't have lunged for you, so shut the hell up." That hand dropped and he pinned an intense gaze onto Rose. "She came here looking for us. She's hunting us, and that crazy guy in the hallway needs to stop hanging around here, he makes me crazy!" Bell was definitely not in a good mood, and he stomped his foot, rather dramatically. All of his dramatic actions making rather crazy bell sounds in the air, which only irritated him further. Sometimes he really could not stand that sound at all.

His eyes were on Rose and he watched her as she went through with such human actions as making coffee. His nose wrinkled and a momentary look of disgust passed across his features, then he was looking at Red. His expression softened immediately. "Get up you silly dog. C'mon now, you're fine. Go finish your meal outside, you know Rose doesn't like it when you mess her floors up." There was a soft smile on his lips as he watched the vargulf, and offered him a hand. Those eyes turned cold again though as he looked at the human. "Tch. I am not and will never be friendly with humans. They're all scum." He was scowling.

Red blinked, looking up at the door way when Rose appeared there. He gave her a slight smile, she was a nice lady. When she asked him if he was alright, he nodded a bit. Otherwise he was still and silent, letting Bell angrily and dramatically explain things. The pain had eased by now, the wounds closing up rather quickly. Red was glad for that, then finally Bell was telling him to get up and go outside. He took the hand offered him and stood. He stood there for a moment, just clutching Bell's hand, and looking at the human. Clearly Red didn't want to leave his master, his alpha's side, while such a dangerous person was still so close.

The vargulf glanced at Rose, a thoughtful expression on his face, then with a resigned sigh he released Bell's hand. Surely Rose would help keep Bell safe. He trusted her, though saw her more like a den mother than anything else. She was the one that kept them all in line, though even den mother's could be brutal at defending her home. Deciding that Bell was in good hands, Red released the vampire's hand and moved away. He picked that deer carcass up easily and slung it over his shoulders like it was a sack of potatoes, and then out the back door he went.

The insane one? Surely the woman wasn't talking about the man who'd intervened and kept her from getting killed, right? The purple haired one was yelling again. She instigated it by bringing something to protect herself against people just like him!?

Katerina wanted to yell back, and knock him on the head, and stick her tongue out and just act like a child in the general sense of it all. They were both sort of being childish really. Blaming each other when they both made poor decisions and neither of them apologizing or accepting any sort of responsibility.

Still, Katerina wouldn't be the first to be nice. Not to him. "I'm not hunting anyone!" she shouted. Well, wait, she was hunting them. But not to hurt them like she was sure he was implying. She wanted to know them, research them, write books about them... Maybe even be the one to figure out a way to bring the supernatural into the human world, to coexist.

"Is he always like this?" she asked the other woman. The red-haired one was up now, and he picked up the deer, slinging it over his shoulder. "Oh God," she mumbled, turning pale again and turning away. It's horrible. It smells and it's just so, gross... She wanted out of that raunchy kitchen, covered in blood.

She turned her attention to the woman. "The man you saw in the hall. Did he have curly dark hair? Maybe about 5'6"-ish?" She waited for the woman's response before feeling angry and turning her rage onto the purple haired vampire again. "That's his fault, too!" she said. "What's your problem anyway?" she demanded to know.

It wasn't really important. She looked at the woman again. "Is there a hospital around here? Or is there something we can do?" She owed it to the man to help. He'd helped her after all.

Jereth Strife

Jereth stands at a tall 6'4". He is in his early twenties. He is a witch, or a warlock if you prefer. He has a slender, but muscular build. He has light blonde hair, almost white in certain lights. His eyes are a very bright, almost neon, green. He carries his staff with him unless he is very comfortable with where he is. He came to the village due to a school tour. He felt like he belonged here, so he couldn't help but stay.

--

Alexandria Gunslinger

Alex stands at 5'6". She is in her mid twenties. She is a Human. She has an average build, she doesn't really have that strong of muscles. She relies on her brain more. She has brown hair, with red highlights. A blue raincloud sort of color to her eyes. She would prefer to stay in and do research rather than leave and go to uncharted territory. She was in the same College tour as Jereth. She felt a certain... pull, towards the village. Like it wouldn't let her leave. She didn't mind, of course.

--

Jereth sighed, tired. He didn't get any sleep before because he stayed up practicing spells. He then went to bed, but woke to shouts. He slammed his head against his pillow, covering his head with his blanket. He's likely not to get any sleep this way.

He decided to get up after a few minutes. He didn't even feel like he could sleep. He placed his feet against the floor, a wave of sleepiness overcoming him.

"Ugh." He groaned, walking over to the door, and walking out. Guess it's as good as any time to start the day. He walked down some stairs, already planning the ingredients to put in his morning tea.

Alexandria had woken up hours ago, and had stayed locked in her room, hiding under her blankets. Her computer screen shined on her face, headphones covering her ears. She didn't want to wake up!

Music blasted into her ears, as she clicked a link to a romantic vampire fanfiction. She was awkward, she would admit. This was here way of entertaining herself? Rather then getting up, and getting a life? After thinking that to herself, she sighed and shut her laptop. Time to start her life today.

Carefully crawling out of bed, she walked out her door. She walked downstairs, her stomach beginning to growl. "Seems 'bout right." She said, hoping that there's something to eat.

Rose resisted the urge to roll her eyes at Bell's anti-human statement. He certainly wasn't in a very good mood today, and one could feel just how annoyed and agitated he was through the constant sound of bells ringing. And before she knew it, the two of them, Bell and the woman were fighting again, blaming each other for what had happened.

She rubbed her forehead and drank some coffee while listening to the two of them argue. Rose liked the taste of coffee, even if she didn't really need it. Some of the supernatural beings found it weird that she did such human things, but what was there to do that wasn't human? They lived in a world where the humans controlled everything, after all.

"You two," Rose sighed. "Can't you just talk without becoming aggressive?" She didn't often see Bell in this state, since most of the time he was a likable vampire. Sometimes, though, Rose and Bell had conflicting opinions, such as the topic of humans. Bell obviously thought that they were the scum of the earth. Rose tried to be kind, as long as the humans stayed civil.

The human asked whether or not the male vampire was always so angry, and Rose tried to answer the question as best as she could. "Well..." She paused. "...you did shoot his best friend...with silver bullets. And you're a human. He hates humans." Rose wasn't too worried about the shooting now that Red's wounds were on the way to healing themselves, but silver bullets aren't exactly anything to mess around with, either.

She looked at the woman, and could tell that she was pretty close to gagging. Reasonable, considering the fact that there was pretty much blood all over the floor. The human described the person that she had seen in the hallway to a T, and Rose nodded. "Yep, that's the one. We can't really do anything about it, though." Rose shrugged. "I just don't trust hospitals, and I'm not even sure who he is in the first place. I don't know his name or even where he came from. He just keeps showing up here."

Rose sighed. She had expected to wake up, take a walk in the garden, read a few books, drink some blood, and go back to sleep. Maybe venture into the village or the surrounding forest. But no, she was stuck with this situation. Just great. There was a human in the kitchen, blood on the floor, the smell of rotting deer meat lingering in the air, and an angry vampire. "I should probably clean up. The others will wake up soon." Rose mumbled, grabbing a roll of paper towels and soaking up the blood from the floor.

Something had happened to Bell, far into his past before he ever became a vampire that made him hate humans. He tolerated them well enough. Enjoyed toying with them, but he hated them. With a passion. He ran a hand through his hair, glaring at the human woman. He glanced at Rose. "This woman is dangerous. She's hunting us. Why else would she come here, with silver bullets?" He seemed a little calmer now. Calm but still furious. "She tried to kill Red, would have if she knew how to shoot properly." It was taking considerable effort for him to not yell, to keep his voice at a moderate level. It was also taking effort not to just attack the human and bite into her neck.

Bell licked his lips. She would be delicious. Humans were terrible, but so very delicious. The vampire stared at that human, his eyes narrowed a bit, it was almost clear what he was thinking now. Then he shook his head hard, making a cacophony of bell sounds that only the unnatural could hear and then he turned. "Rose, you're too soft. Human, get out and don't come back." Bell was leaving the kitchen before either of them could stop him. He had called Rose too soft, but the truth of it was, for all his hatred of humans, his hunger and his anger at Red being shot. Bell was the one who was too soft.

His body was tense as he moved down the hallway, looking for the crazy man. It didn't take Bell too long to find him. Slumped down against the wall. "Tch." Bell glared at that man then knelt down next to him. "Get up you idiot, so you can get out." He grabbed the man by the shoulder and straightened him up some, his other hand slapped the guy across the cheek. "I said wake up." Bell wasn't even trying to hide the annoyance. He drew his hand back again, intending to slap the man once more if there was no reaction.

Nate just laid there. Throughout the yelling and the fair woman gently inspecting him, he had been still and quiet. Barely breathing. But his mind was on fire, a cacophony of activity, dreamscapes.

Hallways on hallways on hallways, twisting through each other and connecting and circling back through impossible means. Rooms thrown around, archways made of trees with dead branches and rotting leaves, chambers filled with gray light filtering from windows that lead to nowhere. A field of sunflowers surrounding his grandmother's home and he wasn't yet tall enough to see above them, staring at the sky as the sun sets and a rustling starts in the flowers, moving fast and closer as the seconds go by and the buzzing of flies increased as it drew closer and his eyes slipped shut just as the stalks began to part--

A slap to his face rouses him, eyes fluttering open sluggishly as he's pressed against the wall and that infuriating man with the bells in front of him. But he could only barely hear them jingle now. In fact he was sure the noise they made were from his memory alone. He must've taken them off. Good. His eyes slid closed again, the light too much for his still pounding head.

He only spoke when the man smacked him again, letting out a annoyed noise. "God...alright I'm awake dammit.." Nate grumbled, lifting a hand to push at the other, to get him away. There wasn't much force behind him at all. In fact it was bell-boy keeping Nate upright.

((And I'm back! Sorry about that vanishing that was me going on a last minute overnight trip! Sorry I didn't get to tell you guys it kind of caught me off guard.))

Alexandria ran downstairs, and checked her kitchen for any sign of food. Upon finding out there was nothing, her stomach painfully growled in protest. "Really, Alex?" She asked herself, before deciding to get dressed and leave the house.

As she tied her shoe laces, she realized she didn't really know this village. She'd only gone to places nearby. What better way to start a life, then to venture out and find new places? She got up, and walked out her door.

She walked down a gravel street, not knowing what she was going to find. Yes, she was nervous. Now she really wished she had a car. She went to a small shop, and picked up a bag of chips along with a pre-made Sandwhich. She walked out, eating her food immediately.

She, once finished with her food, went on a walk. She decided she would go check out anything that peaked her interest today.

Jereth carefully walked down the stairs, almost fearful that he'd fall due to sleepiness. Once he reached the bottom, he found the sight of the three, and nodded to himself. "Probably would have been a good idea to come down earlier." He said, walking to the kitchen. "Why am I not surprised to see this?"

He looked at the three of them as he plopped down on a stool, trying to piece together what happened in his mind. "Anybody need help?" He asked, his ears twitching at the faint smell of death. He was not entirely used to that.

Swirling around in his seat, he looked over the kitchen for some sign of tea. Not spotting it immediately, he gave up. He needed to get up and do something, however. Or else he'd likely fall asleep where he sat. He got up, more then hoping there was something for him to do.

Bell had drawn his hand back for another slap when the man spoke. Almost disappointed, though eager to slap him now while he was awake. He lowered that hand though, ignored anything or anyone that might've passed him by. Those eyes were narrowed just slightly, but his tone was soft even if it was filled with annoyance. "Can you stand?" He didn't wait long for a response before moving to place a hand around each of the crazy man's upper arms and lifting him to his feet. Bell withdrew one hand and kept the other there, to keep the man steady on his feet.

"Do I need to drop you off at a hospital?" He sounded even more annoyed at that idea. Bell didn't want to venture close to a hospital, and he certainly didn't want to drag some human around. Crazy or not. Still, he would actually do it if the guy asked him to. Bell was concerned for this man, though trying to completely hide it under annoyance, that annoyance wasn't faked so it shouldn't be hard to hide behind it. "You humans, so weak. I could turn you, it would make you stronger." He licked his lips and leaned in a bit close, his annoyed tone had given way to a more dangerous, alluring tone. Though he was only half-assedly trying to tempt the man. Bell was just hungry mostly.

Nate opened his mouth to respond, to say that 'yes he could stand it was alright for him to be left alone now' but he didn't get it out. The jerking motions of being lifted was only part of it though, the physical impossibility. The strange tone was what truly caught his voice.

There was annoyance. Abundant and dripping out of the other's mouth like honey. It was practically spat in his face. But there was a softness, a strange tenderness that wasn't quite there before. Almost like he was actually a little bit concerned.

That thought alone caused Nate to snort out a chuckle.

He shook his head at the mention of a hospital. "No...no I should be fine," he grumbled, sniffing slightly. He didn't want a hospital. Something about being wanted by the authorities caused a natural aversion to the buildings for him. He'd deal with this himself. He always has.

He froze at the mention of being turned, when bell-boy leaned in and began to talk in the languid tone a lover might use. Though far more half-assed than that really. Nate sneered.

"No that wouldn't be a good idea I think," he grumbled, placing a hand on bell-boy's shoulder and gripping. "The last guy who had his teeth in me said I tasted like mud before--" he stopped, sucking in a breath, memories flitting through his mind, blood and viscera staining a forest floor, a man's waist with his legs still wobbling like noodles underneath skewered to a tree branch, "...well really I don't think he's walking around much anymore..."

"Yea?" Bell didn't seem to convinced that the guy was alright, but he wasn't going to press the issue. It wasn't his place, really. Honestly he shouldn't have stopped in the first place, but he did feel a modicum of responsibility. They had been fighting, so if the guy was in bad shape from that it was most likely Bell's fault. Though the man was human and Bell hated humans. He was far too soft. Always had been. He pulled back from the man, slowly letting go of him. That hand still up, as if ready to catch the fella if he started to fall.

A slight shrug of his shoulders, and he glanced at the hand the man put on his shoulder. Raising a brow slightly. "Tch. People don't taste like mud. I'm sure you're very very delicious." It almost sounded as if the vampire were complimenting the man. Or trying to. He wasn't really trying to, but Bell hadn't yet bit a person he didn't enjoy. Red didn't count, because he'd never actually bitten the vargulf, but that werewolf blood, just from licking Red's wounds left such a bad taste in Bell's mouth. "If you're polite, Rose might make you some coffee. She's in the kitchen. Though if I were you, and that other human, I'd leave before I came back or I really will spill your blood and hers." He had started out so civil, and then that tone had darkened and become rather dangerous. Almost menacing even, and his eyes had narrowed as he pinned the man with a hard stare.

Then Bell hopped back a step, moving out the man's reach and turned to begin making his way towards the front door. As always, every single one of his movements was punctuated by the sound of tiny silver bells tinkling in the air. Muttering to himself about how he really really hated humans.

Nate just huffed when the other talked, leaning his head back, closing his eyes. His head wasn't nearly as addled as it was earlier, the throb low and bearable. He just needed to stay awake.

When the other complimented his flavor, suggesting he might actually be quite delicious, he blinked. And then snorted. "If I didn't know any better," he mumbled, giving an amused grin, "I would say you're coming on to me bell-boy."

It was joke. Obviously a joke. Then the man became aggressive again, threatening to spill his blood should he see him again. Nate's grin just became wider.

"Like to see you try!" he called after, chuckling. "Those bells you wear could tell a deaf nun you're around from a mile away!" Then he turned and began to make his way back down the hall. Might as well stop off for some coffee. If he was offering.

The only thing he had to besides that was pass out again. And...that wasn't really an option.

"I'm not wearing any..." Bell stopped in mid stride. "You are human, aren't you?" He asked it with a bit of uncertainty, turning slowly towards the man that Bell assumed was human. He smelled human. He acted crazy but smelled human. For a few moments the vampire almost seemed lost, then he moved. Faster than humanly possible, surging forward and grabbing the man by the arm and jerking him against the wall.

Bell was in front of him now, one arm resting between him and the man, but pressing against that man's chest. Pinning him to the wall like that. Bell's other hand rest palm flat against the wall right by his captive's ear. "You can hear it?" Bell seemed rather confused, and fully expected the man to tell him that he in fact was not human at all. He leaned in close, bringing his face near the other male's neck. His intention was not to bite, he inhaled deeply, taking in that scent. Eyes narrowed in concentration, then his head tilted a bit as he moved to sniff the other side of the man's neck. Another deep inhale, then Bell brought his face up to the man's. His nose centimeters from the other's, and he inhaled deeply again.

"The sound I make when I move, I've never met a human that could hear it. Non-humans can hear it as plain as day, and even animals, though most animals seem to like it. Why can you hear it, if you're human?" The pressure he was putting on the other male relaxed just the slightest bit, as if he just realized he might be crushing that man's sternum under his arm. Bell's expression was one of confused uncertainty, he wasn't sure how he should feel about this. Bell was silent now, actually giving the other room to answer him.

Rose could hear Bell yelling at the guy in the hallway, and the sound of his bells were going absolutely insane. He was probably getting worked up over something. Rose considered going into the hall to help him, but she knew he was perfectly capable of handling the guy on his own. Plus, she wanted to keep the human in her sight, just in case she tried anything.

She turned towards Jereth as he entered the kitchen, and gave him a wave. "Good morning, Jereth. Do you know if we have any air fresheners or scented candles or something like that? The smell in here is getting pretty nasty. I'll explain what happened later." The metallic aroma of the blood mixed in with the humidity of summer and the stinking deer certainly wasn't pleasant.

She glanced at the human. How had she located this place to begin with? It was hidden pretty well in the forest, and usually those who stumbled upon it by accident left immediately due to the fact that entering a seemingly abandoned house isn't exactly the smartest move. The human must have came here willingly, or at least knew what she was getting into. She didn't looked that shocked at the fact that a human was tearing apart a raw deer and eating it, so she probably deduced that the inhabitants of the house weren't the same as regular people. "So...what brings you here?"
