It was early in the morning when his alarm clock went off, signaling to Monte Gray it was time for him to get up and dressed for school. Here came the daily chore of showering, brushing his teeth and taming his green hair. All he really wanted to do was go back to sleep, but that wasn't an option. He walked down to the kitchen and grabbed his toast and then, again like every other day he lived, he caught the bus to school.
Monte walked down the hallway of his highschool, his messenger bag on his shoulder. Today was just like any other day for the little otaku, and he knew that he'd probably just end up either getting his head shoved in a toilet or shoved in a locker. That was just an every day occurrence for him and he'd come to expect it. The seniors hated Monte because he was just a sophomore, the other kids hated him because he was just an anime nerd. he couldn't help what he liked, but apparently originality was a crime here. Why were things this way? He thought he was fine the way he was and except for about four people, he had no friends at all. Of coarse, his friends were just as hated. They were just the outcasts.
